Andrew Breitbart raised the roof at the National Tea Party Convention this weekend in Nashville, Tennessee. The speech was revolutionary. Andrew stood in front of the media and in 33 minutes declared war on their corruption and contempt for the American people.

Founding Bloggers posted the entire brilliant speech on YouTube in four parts, but if you would like to view some of the highlights, you can click on any of the eight links below:

Sarah Palin let the Obama Administration have it Saturday night.

But that won’t stop Team Obama from pushing their hopey-changey socialist crap.
Michelle Obama defended her husband today from recent attacks insisting that, “Change isn’t easy and doesn’t happen overnight.”
But it sure hurts.
Good Morning America reported:

“I think my husband has done a phenomenal job staying on course, looking his critics in the eye, coming up with clear solutions against staying the course,” Michelle Obama told Robin Roberts in an exclusive morning television interview on “Good Morning America.” “That’s what leadership is. But people have the right to criticize the President of the United States.”

Michelle Obama’s comments came in response to recent criticism from Sarah Palin who told TEA Party conventioneers in Nashville, Tenn., this weekend she wants to ask Obama supporters, “How is that hope-y, change-y stuff working out for you?”

“Rightfully, some people are frustrated, right?” Michelle Obama said. “But one of the things that Barack Obama said and continues to say is change isn’t easy and it doesn’t happen overnight. And it certainly doesn’t happen in a year.”

“It’s not, he’s not done yet. He’s got more time,” she said.

Obama tripled the national deficit in one year and watched unemployment soar to 9.7%.
America can’t stand much more of this hopey-change.

These statists won’t be happy until they control your every breath…
A recent scientific study released by a group of American scientists insists that third-hand smoke is harmful and may cause cancer.

Lara Gundel, a co-author of the study, is a staff member of the Obama government’s Environmental energy Technologies Division.

The Age reported:

You know smoking is bad for you. You know inhaling someone else’s smoke is bad for you. Now a US study says third-hand smoke — tobacco residue clinging to surfaces — is also bad for you.

When a cigarette burns, nicotine is released in the form of a vapor that collects and condenses on indoor surfaces such as walls, carpeting, drapes and furniture, where it can linger for months, said the study, which was published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS).

“Our study shows that when this residual nicotine reacts with ambient nitrous acid it forms carcinogenic tobacco-specific nitrosamines, or TSNAs,” said Hugo Destaillats, a corresponding author of the study.

“TSNAs are among the most broadly acting and potent carcinogens present in unburned tobacco and tobacco smoke,” he said.

The most likely human exposure to TSNAs is through either inhalation of dust or the contact of skin with carpet or clothes — making third-hand smoke particularly dangerous to infants and toddlers.

Ken Solomon added:

I’ll be damned if a few leftist, do-gooder, ‘we-know-what’s-best-for-you’, maniacs get to decide what you can do with a fully legal product in the privacy of your own home and vehicle.

Cass Sunstein and his merry band of Marxist assistants to Obama are ‘nudging’ your individual freedoms, liberties and Rights straight out from under you.

This ‘third-hand-smoke’ garbage is a perfect example. It starts with a ’study’ of a legal thing that some folks don’t like being legal. The study gets done by an agenda-driven entity, usually financed by a taxpayer-funded government grant. Then, since there’s almost never any challenge to any of the results and ’scientific’ publicity because the results are always written as “it’s for the children”, something gets put to Congress about banning or regulating whatever the study was about.

The great Pamela Geller from Atlas Shrugs destroyed Ron Reagan Jr., Joy Behar and her other hateful liberal guest on the Behar Show last night. Geller gave Ron Jr. the spanking he never had, but needed. You can tell she got under that naughty boy’s skin. He looked like he was going to cry.

Behar and her elitist panelists were bashing the former governor for her palm reading in Nashville:

Terrific job, Pamela!

The Examiner has more on the live liberal meltdown.

The Pakistani Taliban leader Hakimullah Mahsud died from injuries suffered in a US drone attack. (Chicago Tribune)

Mahsud was engineer of a devastating series of suicide attacks including the attack that killed 7 CIA officials in Afghanistan in December.
The LA Times reported, via Free Republic:

The Pakistani Taliban confirmed Tuesday that their leader, Hakimullah Mahsud, died from injuries suffered in a U.S. drone missile strike last month, an attack that forces the insurgency to find a new leader for the second time in six months.

The death of Mahsud, engineer of a devastating series of suicide attacks and raids on markets, mosques and security installations across Pakistan in the latter half of 2009, gives the U.S. another major victory in its ongoing campaign of drone missile strikes against top Taliban and Al Qaeda leaders.

A drone strike last August killed Mahsud’s predecessor, Baitullah Mahsud. Missiles fired by drones over Pakistan’s tribal areas along the Afghan border have also killed 15 senior Al Qaeda commanders since 2004.

However, experts do not expect the loss of Hakimullah Mahsud, 28, to deal a fatal blow to the Taliban as it battles the government in the country’s northwest.

“Miss me yet?”
Yes.

After President Obama tripled the national deficit in one year and nearly doubled the unemployment number compared to the previous administration’s average, a mysterious George W. Bush billboard popped up in Minnesota off of Interstate 35.
BreitbartTV reported:

Not even bluestate Minnesota is safe for the hopey-changers.

Let it snow. Let is snow. Let it snow.
The weekend snowstorm shut down the US Senate on Monday. The democrats were hoping to vote for another $80 billion stimulus jobs bill on Monday. Now they will have to put off the vote until Tuesday or later.

People walk through the snow-covered streets of Washington, DC. The US east coast braced for a new major winter storm Tuesday after record snowfall left thousands of people shivering in the dark without power, transportation paralyzed and the federal government shut down. (AFP/Jewel Samad)

CBS reported:

Much of Washington is at a standstill today because of the heavy snow that has blanketed the district. The Senate has delayed its work schedule for a day, including a vote on a jobs bill — but it appears to be more than just the snow delaying Senate action.

“We do believe very emphatically that we’re going to be able to have a bipartisan bill on Monday,” Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said last week. Reid said Democrats would introduce legislation with or without Republican support, even though they need at least one GOP vote to get past a filibuster.

Lawmakers are still negotiating, however, over issues such as how to pay for the legislation, Politico reports. Republicans are reportedly opposed to using returned bank bailout funds for the bill, which Republican Sen. Orrin Hatch estimated would cost $80 billion. The centerpiece of the bill is likely to be a tax credit for small and medium-sized companies that hire new employees.

The GOP says they will agree to meet with Obama over the Health Care bill if he agrees to start over from scratch.

47% of Americans want Congress to start over on health care. Only 23% want the current bill proposed by democrats.

The Corner posted the GOP letter to the White House today:

Mr. Emanuel:

We welcome President Obama’s announcement of forthcoming bipartisan health care talks. In fact, you may remember that last May, Republicans asked President Obama to hold bipartisan discussions on health care in an attempt to find common ground on health care, but he declined and instead chose to work with only Democrats. Since then, the President has given dozens of speeches on health care reform, operating under the premise that the more the American people learn about his plan, the more they will come to like it. Just the opposite has occurred: a majority of Americans oppose the House and Senate health care bills and want them scrapped so we can start over with a step-by-step approach focused on lowering costs for families and small businesses.

Just as important, scrapping the House and Senate health care bills would help end the uncertainty they are creating for workers and businesses and thus strengthen our shared commitment to focusing on creating jobs. Assuming the President is sincere about moving forward on health care in a bipartisan way, does that mean he will agree to start over so that we can develop a bill that is truly worthy of the support and confidence of the American people? Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said today that the President is “absolutely not” resetting the legislative process for health care.

If the starting point for this meeting is the job-killing bills the American people have already soundly rejected, Republicans would rightly be reluctant to participate.

I had the pleasure to talk to Glenn Reynolds, the Instapundit, and his lovely wife Dr. Helen at the National Tea Party Convention this past weekend. Glenn, of course, has been been a role model, mentor and friend of mine for years since I started my blog in late 2004. He is one of the big reasons that I am where I am today in the blogging world. It was the first time I sat and talked with Dr. Helen so that was great fun, too.

Click on Photo for Video (11 Minutes)

Glenn and Helen were busy broadcasting live from the convention all weekend. Several, if not all, of the major speeches and breakout sessions are now posted up at PJTV.

That didn’t take long… Antiwar democrat John Murtha passed away just a few hours ago and already democratic politicians were using his death to push their radical agenda. Democrats are already casting Murtha as a martyr in their push to nationalize the nation’s health care industry.

Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN) used Murtha’s death to push for Obamacare on Cavutotoday.

Of course, this is the first time democrats have used a politician’s death to push their radical agenda. Democrats also used kids as props to push for Obamacare at Teddy Kennedy’s funeral.
