Republican Enters Race In New Hampshire’s Phantom 00 Districtbosse
Bosse is in!
Now Hampshire has this breaking news—
Republican activist and free market think-tanker Grant Bosse formally declared his candidacy today in New Hampshire’s 00th Congressional District after news that the Obama administration has attributed a majority of the state’s stimulus jobs to that non-existent district.

Having failed in their efforts to lose the War in Iraq democrats are not focusing on Afghanistan.

Speaker Pelosi lashed out at the brave Afghan leader, who has survived several assassination attempts, as an “unworthy partner” today. Karzai was inaugurated yesterday.
white flag
Having failed in Iraq, democrats hope to have better luck surrendering in Afghanistan.
Reuters reported:

Afghan President Hamid Karzai is an “unworthy partner” who does not deserve a big boost either in U.S. troops or civilian aid, U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi said.

Pelosi, a skeptic on sending more troops to Afghanistan, also said in an interview with National Public Radio aired on Friday that there was not strong support among her fellow Democrats in Congress for “any big ramp-up of troops” to oppose resurgent Taliban forces.

She told NPR she had asked fellow Democrats to give President Barack Obama room to decide his Afghan strategy, which is expected to be announced in the coming weeks. Once Obama, also a Democrat, announces his decision, lawmakers would “not be shy” about responding, she said.

“The president of Afghanistan has proven to be an unworthy partner. We cannot fund a mission where we don’t have a reliable partner and where whatever civilian investments we want to make, which are so necessary, will be diverted for a corrupt purpose,” Pelosi told NPR News’ Morning Edition.

Dr. Michael Mann co-authored the famous graph of temperature trends dubbed the “hockey stick graph.”
Today, Mann was implicated in the global warming email and document conspiracy.
hockey stick
Mann’s controversial work has been challenged in the past.

Dr. Mann was implicated in the global warming email conspiracy. It was reported on several websites today that classified emails and files prove that the junk scientists behind the global warming movement knowingly perpetrated a fraud on the global community. Mann’s name came up in several of the emails. The posted material, which includes e-mails allegedly sent by the CRU’s director Phil Jones to fellow climate researchers, including Michael Mann at Pennsylvania State University in University Park.

Dr. Mann was questioned later in the day and he spoke out about the documents and emails:

Professor Michael Mann, director of Pennsylvania State University’s Earth System Science Centre and a regular contributor to the popular climate science blog Real Climate, features in many of the email exchanges. He said: “I’m simply not going to comment on the content of illegally obtained emails. However, I will say this: both their theft and, I believe, any reproduction of the emails that were obtained on public websites, etc, constitutes serious criminal activity. I’m hoping that the perpetrators and their facilitators will be tracked down and prosecuted to the fullest extent the law allows.”

Things don’t look good for Dr. Mann.

GLOBAL WARMING JUNK SCIENCE PROVEN A CONSPIRACY—-
ManBearPig Is Finally Dead!

I’m serial!
Recently “discovered” classified emails and files prove that the junk scientists behind the global warming movement knowingly perpetrated a fraud on the global community.
baloney
The files were posted on the internet– HERE.
The Telegraph reported:

If you own any shares in alternative energy companies I should start dumping them NOW. The conspiracy behind the Anthropogenic Global Warming myth (aka AGW; aka ManBearPig) has been suddenly, brutally and quite deliciously exposed after a hacker broke into the computers at the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit (aka Hadley CRU) and released 61 megabites of confidential files onto the internet. (Hat tip: Watts Up With That)

When you read some of those files – including 1079 emails and 72 documents – you realise just why the boffins at Hadley CRU might have preferred to keep them confidential. As Andrew Bolt puts it, this scandal could well be “the greatest in modern science”. These alleged emails – supposedly exchanged by some of the most prominent scientists pushing AGW theory – suggest:

Conspiracy, collusion in exaggerating warming data, possibly illegal destruction of embarrassing information, organised resistance to disclosure, manipulation of data, private admissions of flaws in their public claims and much more.

One of the alleged emails has a gentle gloat over the death in 2004 of John L Daly (one of the first climate change sceptics, founder of the Still Waiting For Greenhouse site), commenting:

“In an odd way this is cheering news.”

But perhaps the most damaging revelations – the scientific equivalent of the Telegraph’s MPs’ expenses scandal – are those concerning the way Warmist scientists may variously have manipulated or suppressed evidence in order to support their cause.

Here are a few tasters. (So far, we can only refer to them as alleged emails because – though Hadley CRU’s director Phil Jones has confirmed the break-in to Ian Wishart at the Briefing Room – he has yet to fess up to any specific contents.)

There’s more at the link.
This is the scientific scandal of the century.

Related… Scientists baffled after global temperatures refuse to rise.

More… Confirmed: The emails and files posted are legitimate.

Andrew Bolt is following the story… “So the 1079 emails and 72 documents seem indeed evidence of a scandal involving most of the most prominent scientists pushing the man-made warming theory – a scandal that is one of the greatest in modern science.”
And this… “This is clearly not the work of some hacker, but of an insider who’s now blown the whistle.”

The Climate Depot has several updates.

One of the junk science perpetrators speaks out:

Professor Michael Mann, director of Pennsylvania State University’s Earth System Science Centre and a regular contributor to the popular climate science blog Real Climate, features in many of the email exchanges. He said: “I’m simply not going to comment on the content of illegally obtained emails. However, I will say this: both their theft and, I believe, any reproduction of the emails that were obtained on public websites, etc, constitutes serious criminal activity. I’m hoping that the perpetrators and their facilitators will be tracked down and prosecuted to the fullest extent the law allows.”

Here’s your feel good video for the day…
Senator James Inhofe (R-OK) tells Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) to get a life:

It’s safe to say that Inhofe does not have much respect for the far left California senator especially after she broke senate rules and passed her junk science bill out of committee without a single Republican present.
Boxer’s cap and tax bill to fight non-existent global warming was shelved until next year it was reported this week.

But, that may be too late for the far left. Today there are damning reports that “the conspiracy behind the Anthropogenic Global Warming junk science (aka AGW; aka ManBearPig) has been suddenly, brutally and quite deliciously exposed.”

And, Holder goes under the bus…
Barack Obama says he was not consulted on the terror suspect trial.

From the FOX Business Channel: Fox News’ Chris Wallace on Attorney General Eric Holder’s decision to hold a civilian trial in New York for the 9/11 terror suspects.

Are we really supposed to believe this?

Andrew Breitbart sent out a warning to democrats last night.
He warned Attorney General Eric Holder on Hannity that there were more ACORN tapes and they will be released before the election in 2010.

Big Government has the transcript.

Breitbart: There’s a lot of hypocrisy and the dust has settled for ACORN and at the end of the day they’ve recognized that Eric Holder, the Attorney General, has not initiated an investigation into ACORN after we now have seven tapes. There were five initially that came out, ACORN was defunded by the Senate, was defunded by the House, lost it’s link to the Census; while all that damage occurred, Congress didn’t come in to investigate them, obviously not the Attorney General’s office, and they’ve now realized let’s get back into business because they realized that the dust settled and they were not being investigated, it was Hannah, James, and me who were being investigated, that’s why we’ve been forced to offer this latest tape.

Hannity: Are you saying, Andrew, that there are more tapes?

Breitbart: Oh my goodness there are! Not only are there more tapes, it’s not just ACORN. And this message is to Attorney General Holder: I want you to know that we have more tapes, it’s not just ACORN, and we’re going to hold out until the next election cycle, or else if you want to do a clean investigation, we will give you the rest of what we have, we will comply with you, we will give you the documentation we have from countless ACORN whistleblowers who want to come forward but are fearful of this organization and the retribution that they fear that this is a dangerous organization. So if you get into an investigation, we will give you the tapes; if you don’t give us the tapes, we will revisit these tapes come election time.

Hannity: This is a blockbuster, what you’re saying here.

Honduran democratic leader Roberto Micheletti is stepping down– for seven days prior to the national election that is scheduled on Sunday November 29.
The Age reported:

Honduras’ de facto leader Roberto Micheletti said on Thursday he planned to step down for seven days for the country’s November 29 national elections.

“With this measure I aim to concentrate all the attention of Honduran people on the electoral process and not on the political crisis,” Micheletti said in an announcement broadcast on national media.

Micheletti is not standing in the elections, which will see a successor chosen to President Manuel Zelaya, whose ouster in a June 28 coup set off months of political crisis in Honduras.

Senate Democrats will only deliberate 10 hourson SATURDAY before they vote to nationalize one-sixth of the US economy.
reid health care
Via Drudge

The bill will nationalize the nation’s health care industry, increase costs, ration care, tax cosmetic surgery, cut Medicare, charge a monthly abortion fee, and take away your freedom.

Please take time tomorrow and Saturday to call your US Senator.
It only will take a minute.
** HERE IS THE PHONE LIST.
Don’t let the democrats destroy our health care system.

Support for this disastrous bill is down to 40% with 52% opposing.

Claire McCaskill be warned– If you vote for this bill you will not be reelected.

Senator Harry Reid and the Democrats bought off Senator Landrieu’s vote for their nationalized health care plan for $100 million of your money.
How does that feel?
ABC’s The Note reported:

What does it take to get a wavering senator to vote for health care reform?

Here’s a case study.

On page 432 of the Reid bill, there is a section increasing federal Medicaid subsidies for “certain states recovering from a major disaster.”

The section spends two pages defining which “states” would qualify, saying, among other things, that it would be states that “during the preceding 7 fiscal years” have been declared a “major disaster area.”

I am told the section applies to exactly one state: Louisiana, the home of moderate Democrat Mary Landrieu, who has been playing hard to get on the health care bill.

In other words, the bill spends two pages describing would could be written with a single world: Louisiana. (This may also help explain why the bill is long.)

Senator Harry Reid, who drafted the bill, cannot pass it without the support of Louisiana’s Mary Landrieu.

How much does it cost? According to the Congressional Budget Office: $100 million.

Bill O’Reilly reported on the the latest FOX News poll tonight.
Sarah Palin’s favorable rating is now at 47%:
palin approval

Meanwhile, Barack Obama’s job approval rating is now at 46%:
obama approval
This was reported earlier on Palin’s rising star.
FOX News reported:

As Sarah Palin blankets the media on a whirlwind book promotion tour, the former vice-presidential contender is clearly back on America’s radar screen. Despite being characterized by many as a divisive force in her party and the nation, Americans are much more likely to give Palin a positive rating (47 percent favorable) than another prominent female leader — Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (28 percent favorable). Moreover, about six in 10 Americans (61 percent) think Palin has been treated unfairly by the press, according to the latest Fox News poll.

Wait until the state-run media hears this.

Author Bernie Goldberg responded tonight on The O’Reilly Factor to Jon Stewart’s “f*** you.

Bernie describes the difference between conservatives and liberals and scores a direct hit:

“Let me try to respond to the brilliant analysis with a serious point. Look, who do you think is more likely to willingly and knowingly have a baby with Down Syndrome, a pro-choice woman or a pro-Life woman?… A woman for whom religion isn’t terribly important or a woman for whom religion is important?… A liberal woman or a conservative woman?”

“Look the odds are that it’s the pro-Life religious conservative woman that would make such a compassionate decision. And, the reason he’s so upset is that he like most liberals think they have a monopoly on compassion and she showed that they don’t.”

Ping.

“60 Minutes” ran a wonderful segment on the restoration of the Iraqi marshes.
Saddam Hussein drained thousands of miles of marshland after the 1991 War and slaughtered the Marsh Arabs who lived there. But after Iraq was liberated from this brutal tyrant the US helped resurrect this region in southern Iraq.

Watch CBS News Videos Online

One of the worst environmental disasters of the late 20th Century was the destruction of these Iraqi marshes by Saddam Hussein.

But, George W. Bush restored the marshes.
In early 2003, less than 10% of the Mesopotamian Marshlands remained. By early 2004, 40% of the marshlands had been re-flooded. Since the liberation of Iraq the marshes have been restored to over 85% of their former glory.

A photogragh in 1977 of the marshlands before Saddam drained the land of water. (Nik Wheeler)
George W. Bush not only liberated 50 million people from two of the most brutal regimes in history, he also brought life back to the Iraqi marshes.

Unfortunately, “60 Minutes” did not get around to thanking George W. Bush for restoring the Iraqi marshes. Without George W. Bush’s courage and persistence none of this would have been possible.
That’s just sad.

Related… During the Bush years air pollution levels in every category fell from 2001 to 2007.

Sarah Palin and Bill O’Reilly will lock horns tonight.
Here’s a sneak peak of the interview that will air on The O’Reilly Factor at 7:00 PM CST:

This was first time that Sarah Palin was interviewed by the nation’s number one cable news host.

Sarah Palin sold 300,000 copies of Going Rogue yesterday.

And, FOX News released these numbers today on Sarah Palin’s aprroval rating.
It’s climbing:

Despite being characterized by many as a divisive force in her party and the nation, Americans are much more likely to give Palin a positive rating (47 percent favorable) than another prominent female leader — Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (28 percent favorable). Moreover, about six in 10 Americans (61 percent) think Palin has been treated unfairly by the press, according to the latest Fox News poll.

It’s another distraction.
obama garrett
Barack Obama told Major Garrett on FOX News that the phantom job creation data reported at his recovery.com website is a “side issue.”
** FOX Nation has video.
FOX News reported:

President Obama brushed off criticism over his administration’s inaccurate reporting on job creation Wednesday, telling Fox News the accounting is an “inexact science” and that any errors are a “side issue” when compared with the goal of turning the economy around. He said job growth is his No.1 responsibility.

The president was responding to criticism from Republicans, as well as Democratic Rep. David Obey, who drew attention to embarrassing errors on the Recovery.gov Web site that tracks stimulus funding. The site is under fire for claiming a number of jobs were created from the stimulus in congressional districts that don’t exist and accepting unrealistic and inflated jobs data from various sources.

Is counting jobs really an “inexact science?”
It never was before.
Or, is that just part of the hope and change we were promised?

Related… 62% of Americans (not the White House or Democrats in Congress) believe that to create jobs you must cut taxes and stop spending.
