Joe Biden’s popularity is lower than Dick Cheney’s was after his first year.
The Washington Examiner reported:

Vice President Joe Biden’s favorable rating has fallen to 42 percent in a new Gallup poll, down from a high of 59 percent just after last year’s election. Biden’s unfavorable rating in the new poll is 40 percent, up from 29 percent last November. (Eighteen percent of those surveyed say they have no opinion of Biden.)

Biden’s average favorable rating during his time in office so far is 45 percent — well below the average 65 percent favorable rating for Vice President Dick Cheney during Cheney’s first year in office. Vice President Al Gore’s favorable rating during his first year, 55 percent, was also higher than Biden’s. (Gallup did not measure vice presidential popularity before Gore.)

Biden’s rating has fallen most dramatically among independents. Last November, 55 percent of them had a favorable impression of Biden. Now, it’s 32 percent. Biden’s favorable rating among Democrats is 73 percent, down from 88 percent last December, and among Republicans it is 18 percent, down from 33 percent last year.

Biden’s popularity should be lower than whale excrement. In fact, that he has any degree of popularity at all is a testament to the political illiteracy of the voters of Delaware.

Didn’t Joe receive only 1% of the NH primary vote? This guy was a loser from the beginning.

No logic, no ideas, and no creditability thats our Joe. I love the dream that he had “That he had to be talked into the VP job.” Reality was he hit his knees faster than the “K” st hooker.

Joe Biden is Obama’s Dan Quayle.

    From SNL episode 88e (Transcript):

Announcer: And now, “Weekend Update”, with anchorperson Dennis Miller.
Dennis Miller: Thank you. Good evening, what can I tell you?

The big story this week, of course – the election – and the next President will be George Bush, the Republican. I say this because a recent NBC News poll shows that 60% of “Saturday Night Live” viewers get all, or most, of their news from “Weekend Update”.

And now that the election is over, I think a little self-examination is in order – did we at “Weekend Update” contribute to a campaign that was dreadfully short on issues? A little mea culpa here – on the week that George Bush gave a major speech on trade policy, we did a joke comparing Marilyn Quayle’s hair to Laura Petrie’s. And the week Michael Dukakis outlined his defense strategy, we did a joke comparing Quayle’s head to a pumpkin with no candle in it. So, yes, we could have done better. But we’re only human, and all I can say is we’ll have to try harder.

In the news this week: President-elect George Bush this week finally owned up and admitted that the only reason he chose Dan Quayle as his running mate was to guarantee that no one would attempt to assassinate him in the next four years. “This guy is a walking, breathing bullet-proof vest,” said Bush.

Joe Biden – assassination insurance – that’s all he ever was or will be.

When this is the best that the MSM can do for our “brilliant foreign policy expert” VP, this says quite a bit about the dwindling effectiveness of the Liberal Media AND the hopelessness of Joe Biden, as well as the brilliance of our super-smart President in selecting the people he wants as working partners in running our country.

    Heaven help us.

I have JavaScript. My IS guy says it’s something in First Things.”

Aw, people shouldn’t beat up on old Joe. He’s very popular in our house. Not only is he good for a laugh, he actually tells the truth sometimes, even when he’s not supposed to.

Have you ever seen a copy of biden’s travel expense account that he presented to congress to get reimbursed?

He actually charged congress for twelve round-trips from DC to Deleware IN THE SAME DAY!! And got paid for them. No questions.

    That’s our joey hair plugs.

    True story, this past year:
Teacher tells students: “I do not tolerate plagerism. Anyone who is caught copying anything in THIS class will get a ZERO, will have it posted to your official records and be booted out.”
Same teacher and entire school staff voted for Obama/Biden.
They aren’t hypocrites, they’re completely amoral thugs. Actually some of them didn’t KNOW Biden used someone else’s autobiography for his own. So, ignorant, amoral thugs. They’ll evicerate a KID and make sure he’ll always be tarred, never forgiven, no second chances, but then they’ll vote on “morally superior” grounds for liars and cheats, forgiving them for everything. Spit!

Biden is less popular than Cheney in their first year. That should go without saying, as Bush/Cheney were pretty popular in their first year, especially after 9/11. How does he compare to Cheney’s recent popularity?
