The dem’s health care bill will cost Americans over $1 trillion.
And, that’s before Speaker Pelosi starts the vote buying.
My Way News reported:

Health care legislation taking shape in the House carries a price tag of at least $1 trillion over a decade, significantly higher than the target President Barack Obama has set, congressional officials said Friday as they struggled to finish work on the measure for a vote early next month.

Democrats have touted an unreleased Congressional Budget Office estimate of $871 billion in recent days, a total that numerous officials acknowledge understates the bill’s true cost by $150 billion or more. That figure excludes several items designed to improve benefits for Medicare and Medicaid recipients and providers, as well as public health programs and more, they added.

The officials who disclosed the details did so on condition of anonymity, saying they were not authorized to discuss them publicly.

Some moderate Democrats have expressed reluctance to support a bill as high as $1 trillion. Last month, Obama said in a nationally televised address before a joint session of Congress that he preferred a package with a price tag of around $900 billion.

“Democrats have touted an unreleased Congressional Budget Office estimate of $871 billion in recent days, a total that numerous officials acknowledge understates the bill’s true cost by $150 billion or more.”

They’re still underestimating it. It will cost more like 20 trillion.

And don’t let that “vote buying” phrase pass you by. Major deals, such as “If you vote for my bill, I’ll grease the skids to pass $(insert large number here) worth of future pork for your district” are in the works as we speak.

When all of those vote buying deals are included, the real price tag will be a few billion higher. Of course, in the most transparent congress evah, we’ll never know just how much those votes actually cost.

Any health care Bill that will eventually lead to nationalized health care will cost $2 trillion EVERY YEAR (not $1 trillion every decade) and CR@PPY health care to boot.

Yeah, like anybody reading this blog would be surprised that it’s going to be a LOT more expensive than early estimate led some people to believe. What’s funny is when a liberal finds out that government healthcare hits her in her wallet. What won’t be funny is if it hits the rest of us.

No one seems to be adding in the physician payment bill that is touted to keep that cost out of the health care bill costs, nor the likely additional mandates to the states to cover required medicaid increases, not to mention the pork extras and exemptions that were in the Baucus bill for such states as Nevada.

Last month, Obama said in a nationally televised address before a joint session of Congress that he preferred a package with a price tag of around $900 billion.

Somehow I get the feeling that he’s trying to make a $110 gizmo more palatable by advertising it for $99.99….

WaPo is claiming this morning that there is a “dramatic” shift in momentum toward a “public option” being driven by cost savings. Hopefully this is just another serving of BS designed to create some momentum. How can a huge new Federal entity save money??

America is broke, so why wouldn’t the Obama government be talking about how to cut costs and not increase costs. Well, because they do not care about providing health care to the American people – it isn’t about providing health care to the America people. It is about destroying the U.S. economy in record time, and hence, her power and influence in the world. You can’t dominate and control a nation unless that nation is subservient. There is a reason you can’t let a crisis go to waste – it is an opportunity to grab power.

Obama’s push for socialized medicine bears creepy parallels to the Thalidomide fiasco of 1957-1961.

If one trillion is the estimate, it will be swamped within minutes. Are they factoring the tax cost of insuring the 20 million illegal immigrants after amnesty? That should triple the costs right there. What about the shift from employer coverage to taxpayer/public coverage that will occur once employers realize it will be cheaper to dump everyone BUT their families on to the Gubmint health? Surely the estimates for the purpose of tricking people into supporting the plan are quite low. Look at the morons around here who still insist that “everyone who likes their plan can keep it”. The low end of the Bell Curve does keep on bulging here in public-school, TV-land.

Anyone who thinks this public health plan will simply be swimming in money, can you tell me why anyone should believe that, since the last couple of major Socialist plans (SS, Medicare, Medicaid, etc) are on schedule to go broke very soon? Borrowing from the Chinese and printing dollars until they are worthless won’t be a solution for much longer. This is how the third world gets third-worldy, friends. Command economies, anti-productivity governments, big spending on social programs.

“From each….to each….” Tyranny and poverty always follow.

So, in order to buy the loyalty of another swath of entitlement recipients, the Democrats are willing to bury taxpayers under an impossible debt load.

Who are the taxpayers? Employers. And investors whose activities make employment possible. As those groups struggle, so too will their putative employees.

Which will lead to calls for more entitlements. Anyone else see where this is leading?

Obama is a common thief, stealing any future prosperity away from the next generation and redistributing it to China and the ghetto.

He’s the most dangerous man on the planet and should be driven from the White House, in a taxi back to Chicago.
