From the Obama government website—-

The Obama Stimulus “created or saved” 20 jobs in Connecticut.
obama stimulus
Via Radio Vice Online and Recovery.gov

The Obama Stimulus created 28 jobs in Vermont.

The Obama Stimulus created 22 jobs in New Hampshire.
0bama stimulus 2
Via Recovery.gov
Obama would have done better if he would have opened a McDonalds in each state.
Is it too late to ask for our $787 billion back?

UPDATE: But don’t worry. The state-run media says that Obama is looking at all options to creating jobs.

UPDATE 2: 3.6 million jobs have been lost since Obama became president.

Well at least those states had triple the number of jobs saved in Rhode Island. RI had 6 jobs created. A whopping 6 whole jobs and unemployemnt there is close to 12%!

I saved or created thousands of jobs today with my own “stimulus” package”—by shopping at Walmart…

Hey, just like Obama, I can’t help it if most of my “stimulus” money went to the Commies…

And the heavyweight states in Jobs Created:

    Colorado–4,695
    Washington–2,909
    California–2,206
    Florida–1,635
    Texas–1,100
    Georgia–1,046

And we were supposed to see some 1,400,000 nation-wide by now? Last I heard the figure was 30,000…of which 13,591 or 45.3% were in those six states. Failure doesn’t even begin to describe this.

Oh, and one other insignificant detail that just didn’t make it into the statistical nightmare; 95% of the “jobs created” were minimum wage, limited in length, lacked full-time benefits and those same workers will be back on the public teat in just a few short weeks. Niccccce!

We LIKE those results; May we have another??

Trying to condemn the stimulus on the this basis borders on sedition.

Tragic remark–truly tragic. There is no shortage of ways to condemn this piece of trash. It has done nothing for the economy, indeed the economy got worse since it was passed. I take that back, it made the economy worse by increasing the national debt.

Furthermore, a sizable chunk of it was spent on things other than job creation and tax cuts–things like the ‘why pigs smell’ research and new government cars, just to list the most insane. Those things do nothing to help any part of the economy–they are special interest appeasement.

I love how the left says the stimulus saved the economy. If it did, then it only took around $100,000,000,000.00 to fix the economy, as virtually all of it is yet unspent, thus the concept of massive interventionism doesn’t work as we all know. However these same people say spend more, the most colorful of which being Biden’s “we need to spend more to avoid bankruptcy” (which is the dumbest thing I have heard anyone say about anything–ever).

You can’t have it both ways. If it worked, then you don’t need to spend a ton. And we all know that you don’t need to spend anything to fix the economy–remember the early 80s and 2000s?

Joe Steel isn’t a real liberal commenter, but if he were, he’d be tearing his hair out at what’s coming in the next election:

Last year America elected a president who, in attitudes and policies, is closer to the elites of Western Europe than any of his predecessors. Yet in the nine months that he has been in office ordinary Americans have been moving away from those attitudes and policies and have increasingly embraced positions that over the years have made Americans distinctive from those in other advanced Western democracies…

My explanation is that until November 2008 Americans did not have any reason to contemplate what a more European approach would mean in real-life terms. Now, with Obama in the White House and a heavily Democratic Congress, they do. And they mostly don’t like it.

    http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/politics/Unlike-Obama_-Americans-reject-European-model-8397573-64576077.html

It took Obama to make us realize how unique this country is. The majority of us want to preserve our freedoms, which means bye-bye to the Democrats.

I’ve said on numerous occasions that Obama would be the worst thing that ever happened to the left, for the exact reasons you’ve outlined above. Americans now have a “real life” sample of what the left’s vision of America looks like, no longer just an abstract concept.

Thanks Barry, you’ve managed to unveil for all Americans exactly where the agenda of the leftwing lies, more taxes, more spending, more government programs, more dependency, more radical economic policies rooted in junk science, more affirmative action, and on and on.

“You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that, my dear friend, is about the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.”

“It’s great to know that the Typical White Taxpayer is easy to fleece. If these crakkkers don’t give me their money I just call them RACISTS. It works every time.”

“My limousine is running and I have a meeting with SEIU. We have to get more able bodied people on the dole in Los Angeles so that our SEIU in home care providers will have more clients to scam (most of them are fresh out of rehab). I cannot answer any actual questions. I must go. Good Day.”
