The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel posted this photo essay showing the HUGE lines of people being forced to wait outside in the rain for flu shots.

Photo six is posted below- Mike O’Keefe brought a plywood sign, “Welcome to Government health care.”
okeefeMike O’Keefe thinks a health care overhaul would lead to more long lines like the flu shot lines at Cedarburg High School.
Hat Tip Tim N.

Mike O’Keefe gets it.

I shan’t be getting any flu vaccine. I read that should you be innoculated against the seasonal flu, your chances of contracting pig flu increase. I can’t say for certain that is correct but since I decided to not get the pig flu vaccine, I won’t be getting the seasonal flu vaccine either.
Just stay out of crowds and/or cover your face if you are afraid of catching something.

Who would wait in a line to receive a shot of poisons into their bloodstreams?

People need to read up on this vaccine. I do not understand why people who do not trust the government for anything, seem to place trust in them in regards to this shot. Why? Why, when you have so many signs pointing in the direction that our government does NOT have our best interests at heart, would you do a turnabout and think that these vaccines are safe? Especially when the government has made sure that the pharmaceutical companies will not be held responsible should something bad happen to people who take it. It’s just mindboggling.

to my way of thinking, if they want to wait in line to get the govt shot, more power to them. The more that do it, the less there might be that may not infect me. No govt shot for me! I’m more willing to take my chances with the flu than I am willing to trust this vaccine has had enough time to be deemed as “safe”.

Hey, at least they have flu shots available. Where I live they are OUT of flu shots for seasonal flu and won’t be getting anymore. Some places will be getting the H1N1 flu shot but won’t be available for anyone, only for those authorized to receive them such as small children, mothers who care for infants and for health care workers. Yes, welcome to government health care.

I have NEVER had a flu shot and I certainly don’t intend to start getting them now. I don’t trust our “caring” government to get even this small thing right…why would I trust them to overhaul our entire healthcare system? They are just intent on a complete power grab.

    just a few sample’s..

    flashback:

Medicaid Rationing Will Cost More in the End

Medicaid Rationing Will Cost More in the End

    flashforward:

Doctors Say Health Care Rationing Already Exists

[Americans might be justifiably nervous about losing control of their health care decisions, especially if they think government bureaucrats will be in charge. But some doctors and economists argue that, in effect, the U.S. health care system is already rationing, in the most unproductive ways.

"In America, we strictly ration health care. We've done it for years," says Dr. Arthur Kellermann, professor of emergency medicine and associate dean for health policy at Emory University School of Medicine. "But in contrast to other wealthy countries, we don't ration medical care on the basis of need or anticipated benefit. In this country, we mainly ration on the ability to pay. And that is especially evident when you examine the plight of the uninsured in the United States."]

that is where we’re all eventually headed re: Obama’s public option plan..

btw, please take Obama’s words to heart.. and ask yourself what he means
by “Universal Health Care”?? imho, that means the US will eventually
be under the auspices of the UN..

    Wake-up Call: Islamists Insert
    Themselves into Healthcare Debate

[Does this ring a bell? It’s the modus operandi of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB). They are a well known political party in Egypt with a specific political platform that has now metastasized around the world into hundreds of splinter groups with a headquarters also in London. Ultimately that political platform is Islamism (a.k.a. Political Islam). Islamism is specifically the desire to somehow put shar’iah law (Islamic jurisprudence) into place in government through a legal system not based in reason but rather based in clerical exegesis of Islamic jurisprudence. The Brotherhood is the predominant global face or front of that movement.

When it comes to domestic policy stances, one can usually pick out MB politics from a mile away. On economic issues, the Islamist (MB) platform is heavily socialist based in government entitlement programs. They thus will see common cause on economic issues with the left in the United States. On social issues, the Islamist platform is focused on their own version of family values and they will try and seek common cause with the right in the U.S. on those issues. Just in these two examples it begins to become more clear that Islamists are neither Democrat nor Republican. On foreign policy their stances are also easily identifiable. They have their own political platform-Islamism. They advocate for Western isolationism in order to allow for unimpeded advancement of Islamist movements globally. Forget any advocacy for liberty. They are doves as minorities from within the West so that their brothers can be hawks from within Muslim majority nations so they can impose and spread Islamism abroad. In domestic and foreign policy politics they will support whichever party stands less of a threat to the advocacy of the transnational Islamist agenda.]

Can you imagine the outrage if this flu shot shortage was happening while President George W. Bush was president. The lib media would be talking about it 24/7 until it was watergate. The horror! The horror! Now that obama is president, you don’t even hear about it. You wouldn’t even know until you went for a flu shot and they told you that they were out. Right now obama is saying to the lib media, “good media, good little media, my good little media”. The truth is obama couldn’t carry President George W. Bush’s jock strap.

So what about turning all medical records over to the federal government, you don;t think that might be a real problem?

But the government has said that all of the records will be stored on *secure* government-controlled computers; and will be available only to EVERY government agency that wants to see them. (But you can’t see your records. ah, well.)

And with the “advanced computer security” that the government uses – and the tight controls on who can see and disseminate the information, WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG???!!

If you’re worried about getting the flu, take an onion, place it in a bowl and set it on a table in your house. You don’t need to peel it or cut it, just put it in a bowl. For whatever reason the people in that house will not get the flu (or just a very mild case of it). You can put it in your house, office, where ever. There ya go, flu prevention and it didn’t cost you a dime. Don’t ask me WHY or HOW it works, it just does.

The vaccine is for the rats anyway. Every year are we told to get flu shots. And in the end, none of them provides 100% security. You still, usually, have a 50% chance of getting the flu.

I guess Obama loves the millions provided by the pharma industry.

I am surprised none of the Tea Party groups have gathered at one of the long lines in the nation just to point out to the cut and paste media this very point. Also, this is the first year the CDC (government) has been in charge of vaccine distribution. Even last year the manufacturers distributed directly to doctors and hospitals or clinics. Argh. More government intervention when they did nothing to isolate the flu in Mexico. It is a manufactured crisis for political advantage.

LMAO. These sheeple obviously don’t get it — and the real punch line is not in the idiotic edicts of our Clown President, but in the things that the media refuses to cover, say for instance the nearly secret shortage of Tamiflu and H1N1 vaccine doses.

I understand its Barack Obama’s fault there aren’t enough H1N1 virus vaccines? I’m beginning to doubt that he’s truly The One, as he was unable to have controlled when H1N1 appeared, as well as being unable to single-handedly speed up the months-long process it takes to create vaccines. Hmmm. Perhaps he’s not actually the Messiah.

Oh, and I’m glad this is the first year that the government is providing flu shots free of charge. Perhaps Mike O’Keefe would be better off purchasing his flu shot on the open market place? Perhaps he could find a better deal than ‘free’? Maybe finding somebody willing to pay him to get a flu shot?

What a fricking idiot. Reminds me of the Comic Book Guy from The Simpsons:

Comic Book Guy: Last night’s Itchy & Scratchy was, without a doubt, the worst episode ever. Rest assured I was on the Internet within minutes registering my disgust throughout the world.
Bart: Hey, I know it wasn’t great, but what right do you have to complain?
Comic Book Guy: As a loyal viewer, I feel they owe me.
Bart: For what? They’re given you thousands of hours of entertainment for free. What could they possibly owe you? If anything, you owe them.
Comic Book Guy: [hesitantly] …Worst episode ever.

There is something more to that sign which really says “Welcome to Government Healthcare, run by that boy Barack Obama.”

They didn’t expect a big turn out. You people waited in line because you wanted to and because it was FREE”, We all make choices and do some research before you complain. We have had many before “Obama” to make a mess of things. Do you think that this mess can be cleaned up in 10 months. Pull yourself up: Just Pray about it……….

Idiot!…..We saw this guy, and asked him if he would rather wait in line at a hospital and pay $30 for the shot instead…No answer….Duh!…. None of these people were forced to be here! Apparently he would rather trust his healthcare to the same companies that ruined Wall St over the last few years! This line was created by the media, not the government. This was in a VERY conservative community….So ask yourself…..Why were these people here?
