Hollywood leftist Sean Penn arrived in Cuba today to interview his “revolutionary icon” Marxist dictator Fidel Castro for Vanity Fair magazine.
It’s doubtful if Penn will bring up Castro’s brutal human rights record during his interview.

More than forty-eight years after the above photo was taken, Castro and his gang of murderers continue to send to the firing squad those Cubans who oppose the Marxist Revolution. (Real Cuba)
AFP reported:
Oscar-winning actor and political activist Sean Penn flew to Cuba hoping to interview its revolutionary icon Fidel Castro, entertainment news website TMZ reported Sunday.
“Sean (Penn) is going to the land of Fidel as a journalist, writing a story for Vanity Fair (magazine) about how the (Barack) Obama administration has affected Cuba,” TMZ reported.
Penn was traveling with Diana Jenkins: “Actually … it’s her plane … she’s married to the head honcho at Barclays bank,” TMZ added, noting the pair set out from Las Vegas on Saturday.
“Barclays sources say Sean and Diana are going to meet (Fidel) Castro — presumably because that’s what Diana told them,” the website reported. Penn’s representative also told TMZ a meeting was possible.
Since taking office in January, US President Barack Obama has moved to ease a half-century of tension with Cuba, with small steps such as relaxing rules on visits and money transfers to the island.

I’m sure Penn will be on Larry King, to tell us all about it.
Remember when M&Moore tried to tell everyone how great healthcare was on the “ISLAND PARADISE” Cuba? Naturally, that would explain all people risking their lives to escape.

Penn appears to be about as poorly educated as the rest of the press, maybe he can get a job at the Times.

mario chanes de aramas marched into havana

In what dimension and under what criteria could Sean (Braindead) Penn be considered a reporter?
This man has proven that anything the may or may not be located between his ears is non-functional. He has not said a single thing in years that would be even remotely considered intelligent, but that isn’t a great deal better than the NYT so maybe.

I don’t think that Sean Penn was a Paul Harvey fan. Mr. Harvey said “They have gun control in Cuba. They have universal health care in Cuba. So why do they want to come here?” Like most of the politically active Hollywood crowd Mr. Penn will only visit and praise, but not stay there. I only wonder why any news organization would notice. One of our nations bigger problems is that news is a business instead of a responsibility. Does anyone really care where Sean Penn goes?

It is precisely for all those reasons you give that the loons consider him to be a “reporter.” I guess reporter is a euphemism these days for propagandist.

Do you think Fidel will allow Penn to brandish a shotgun in Havana? Hey, Havana is only a few hundred miles from New Orleans.

I believe the term for people like Penn is useful idiot.

Is Sean Penn a CIA spy? Better alert Fidel!!!
hahahahahahahaha

Does anyone even care about Sean Penn? I think his credibility is shot after going down to Nola to “help”, bearing a shotgun.
My concerns for Sean Penn do not go beyond his now divorced “Buttercup” wife (I hope you’ve all seen the Princess Bride), who is now back on the market.

Can we make him swim home?
October 26th, 2009 | 8:55 am | #17
Maybe they will keep him there. By the way, Penn was charged with felony assault against Madonna, and plead a misdemeanor offense. I wonder if he was in violation of the law with possessing that shotgun in NOLA? He must have plead some other offense and got away with no domestic violence offense on his record, or the law doesn’t apply to celebrities such as him.

Who cares? Birds of a feather. Does anybody even read Vanity Fair anymore? I didn’t know Sean Penn could actually write.

Why doesn’t this loser in life move to Cuba? Why does he continue to live here and live off the fruits of Capitolism, while glorifying the monsters of the world. Don’t buy anyting from Hollywood anyone. Make them pay a price for their betrayel of this nation, all of them!

I wonder if Andrew Daulton Lee is still Sean Penn’s personal assistant.

If people think you are smart enough to write an article, you should be smart enough to realize that there are problems with a country that does not allow its citizens leave. People risk their lives to leave Cuba . . . ding, ding, ding!!! How does someone just ignore that FACT!?!?!?!!
People can leave and relocate out of the US any time they wish to leave. Yet, it is the US that is the “bag guys”!
All it takes is engaging brain before speaking and taking any action. Seems to be a problem for Sean Penn and Vanity Fair. It is also why I refuse to watch anything that features Penn.

One of the many things about Cuba left unsaid, and untaught in our schools. My son did a report on Cuba, interviewing a former colleague of mine who was brought to the U.S. as an infant IN A SUITCASE. His mother died in a Cuban jail. Her sister nicknamed the boy Moses and raised him. The suitcase is now a coffee table. Stef (Moses) was an electrical engineer on the F-15 Eagle program with me back in the 1980’s.
The teacher called the report “one viewpoint.” Pat, I don’t know why educators are so against exposing communism. I wish all those who adore it so much could receive first hand experience.

Like father, like son. His father was on the Hollywood Black List for his Un-American Activities and banned from making movies. What’s happened to HUAC? Our Logan Act?
Guess his buddies Chavez and Putin are invited to their pow wow.

Thousands of the radicals in the “Days of Rage” period were trained in Fidel Castro indoctrination camps and sent back to the US to filter back into society as politicans, students in universities, professors, school teachers…etc. Members of the WU, SDS; obama’s baby sitter in their neighborhood simply adored and had nothing but praise for Castro; (and I might add Charlie Manson, Che, Mao, Stalin, the Vietcong).
