Stimulus Take 2–
Democratic leaders are meeting today with the same economists who advised them to push their first disastrous $787 billion plan earlier this year.
The House Leader reported:

With families across the country asking “where are the jobs,” House Democrats are meeting this morning with the same economists who pushed for the trillion-dollar ‘stimulus’ that isn’t working. Also on the agenda for Speaker Pelosi is figuring out how to spend and borrow away her party’s disastrous economic record through a “stealth stimulus.” While Democrats pursue the same shopworn ideas that are failing out-of-work families struggling to make ends meet, House Republicans have already proposed a “bipartisan jobs plan” to help small businesses, assembled a “kitchen cabinet” of economic experts, and convened a working group of lawmakers to review additional job creation proposals.

Their Keynesian economics may have failed the first time but that won’t stop them from trying it again.
deficit
What a disaster.

Here, let me go to my money tree to fund this next stimulus. Criminy, where do they think this money comes from anyway?

Lies, lies, lies. BO did say on a few occasions that there would not be any new spending unless there were cuts made elsewhere to fund it. The only thing they have been cutting is military! And even with this horrible decision, they are still OVERSPENDING!

More brilliant ideas from our government:
    Price fixing -

They haven’t spent all of the last money yet. They want to have a lot to throw around before the 2010 election.

It’s like the democrats never expected to stay in power. From day one they have been spending as fast as they can. It has been 16 years since they held all the cards and all they can do is spend, spend and spend.

Democrat aren’t even happy with the “slow” pace of spending. Obama was getting flack from people in New Orleans that the “big check” has not been written. Support for Obama is a cargo cult.

A Republican House needs to choke this off. Just kill it. The Democrats have totally deligitimized themselves.

They created the PORK-ING-US bill behind closed doors without a SINGLE republican to witness how our money was divided.
    Bacon for this lib.
    Pork shoulder for that.
    Ham for you,
    Pork chops for you,
Loin for Pelosi…and so on. Not a single Republican was allowed to see the bill as written and discusses by the LIBTARD conference committee.
Not a single word about the COMPLETE PARTISAN nature of the bill.
NOTHING could be more partisan, yet the media didn’t notice.
So we are to trust them now?

    Ruebecca nailed it.

And if at first you don’t succeed, spend spend again.

Why don’t they get some poor people off welfare, or help families that have been living off credit cards?

You know, the bulls**t Obama promised in the first place?

Isn’t “I’m a Keynesian” simply an admission that one can’t perform the math?

what, no mention of the 200+ economists that had the full page ad in the paper saying don’t do it, it won’t work?

Who couldn’t see this one coming besides the elected Deomcrats? Nah, they saw it coming, they just didn’t care. The stimulus is doing exactly what they thought it would..;.paying off their cronies!

This is why Fox Isn’t News. You dimwits spend all day watching it an never learn a thing.

The stimulus ended the recession and is creating jobs. Fox Isn’t News never mentions it so you don’t know it.

By-the-way, Boehner is not the House Leader. He’s the minority leader.

    No more Fox for you.

Mr. Stalin (that’s Russian for Steel) and I imagine your moniker means you are a fan of old uncle Joe.

The Economy always creates and destroys jobs. In September the economy destroyed 250,000 more jobs then it created and so the number of jobless + the number of people leaving the labor force + the number of people working part time who desire full time jobs went up. The recession is not over and the stimulus created no jobs.

Go back and read your copy of Pravada and Isvestia. You know what they say Uncle Joe: There is no news in the truth and no truth in the news.

We can turn this thing around, folks.

Just get *true* conservatives back in office as soon as possible. And don’t allow any more legislation to pass, further bankrupting us.

Let them know they’ll lose their jobs if they pass healthcare and another “stimulus.” It’s the only thing that speaks to these weasels.

This is Pelosi-speak for “we want you to share the blame when it fails.”
