The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Organization is holding a conference this week in Egypt.
No Jews are allowed.
Israel National News reported:
A United States-based organization’s conference on breast cancer awareness, to be hosted in Egypt, has been touted by international news networks as an example of “unprecedented cooperation” in the region. However, according to Channel 2 news, the celebration of unity may be premature, as Israeli doctors were told at the last minute that their invitations to participate had been rescinded.
The conference will be held in Alexandria, Egypt this week, under the auspices of the American group Susan G. Komen for the Cure – the world’s largest breast cancer advocacy organization. It is to include meetings between leading researchers from the U.S. and several Mideast countries.
Israeli doctors were invited to the event as well, and several had planned to attend. However, on Sunday night, the doctors received brief notices telling them that they were no longer invited to the conference, by order of Egyptian Health Minister Hatem el-Gabali.
The notices did not include an explanation of Gabali’s decision.

Evidently, boycotting Israel is more important than curing breast cancer.

Well, we all know how advanced cancer research is in the Arab world, they have no need for those lowly Nobel prize winning doctors from Israel. What have Jewish doctors ever contributed to medicine anyway? Especially when you compare them to all those incredible Arab researchers who have turn the Muslim world into a model of health and hygene. Donkey urine anyone?

…they were no longer invited to the conference, by order of Egyptian Health Minister Hatem el-Gabali.
Sounds like a candidate for Guantanamo Bay. If this guy just ups and vanishes one day, you’ll know why.

The reason we did this is because the joo doctors will sneak in our bedrooms while we sleep and steal our tonsils and feet.

Sickening! But what else can you expect from the Muslim world?
Israeli researchers and developers developed the first fully computerized, no radiation diagnostic instrumentation for breast cancer.

Yep this is really sad but I can’t see how it has anything to do with the POTUS. Since when does American have the say on who Egypt invites for a conference?

I think the donations will fade away here in the US. What an insult to the Jewish women that have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for this cause and have supported this.
October 19th, 2009 | 11:21 pm | #11
It’s American sponsored, and have say so. This is not a surprise to me, it’s obvious that Obama has, lets say, a low opinion of Jews. Israel knows that Obama is not their friend, too bad American Jews still think he is.
October 20th, 2009 | 12:19 am | #12
As usual, it’s Muslims up to their Jew hating tricks. I get a kick out of watching one American group after another trying to work with Muslims like they are just regular people. But their not.

Sure. Try to figure out how Obama is to blame for the whole thing. It’s easier for you that way. It’s all Obama… oh, yes, and the Muslims. It must be nice to think that the world is a simple place full of simple folk like yourselves.
78% of Jews in America voted for Obama. You guys should be rooting for the Egyptians. You’re really just like them.
October 20th, 2009 | 12:44 am | #15
Komen should withdraw sponsorship/funding for this event or else this is discrimination against the Jewish researchers. Would this not be antisemitism for Komen to continue?

0bama:
“Let me be clear. I have gratified that all stinking Jews are banned form the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Conference in Egypt. The Jews suck and should be wiped off of the face of the earth.”
“Now, that I have gotten the Jewish vote and the Presidential elections are over I have no further use for the Jews. Sure, the a few idiot Jews in the MSM but they can kiss my butt and clean it after every crap I take.”
“It may seem hypocritical that American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee took Susan Komen’s money and will not let Jews attend. Big deal! Taqiyya works! The Jews got swindled. The Jews suck.”
“For the last time, No! I will not be joining 0bamaCare. It’s only for rubes and taxpayers – and I am neither. I have my lush government health care. Taxpayers suck. They deserve crappy health care. I spit on taxpayers. Good day.”

Wasn’t Susan Komen Jewish herself? What is wrong with so many American Jews that they can’t see the muslims for what they are? Useful Idiots perhaps. Its all really quite bizarre.

It’s a case of “follow the leader”.

I’ll withhold judgment on this until the Komen group itself confirms that Israelis were banned. A report based on what one TV channel said needs more substantiation. It sounds true, but I’d like more details.

Before I sent the link/article to Jim, I tried to contact The Komen Foundation offices in various cities, including internationally, with no answer (phone), or response (e-mail).
One of the charities I regularly donate to is The Komen Foundation.
My mom beat breast cancer 7 years ago – she’s now 83.
The Foundation was amazing in their advice and assistance during and after mom’s ordeal.
Right now, I’m simply waiting to see what they’re going to do.
The last thing I expect is The Foundation to accept this stance from the host nation.
Suffice it to say, I’m a tad miffed at the moment.

I can’r believe this is happening in this day and age. Just watched the movie Defiance and I guess that is fueling my outrage a little as well.
Two things, the first is that the foundation must make a strong stance on this. Must. Their sponsors here are vast. I swear I will not buy another pink thing until they do. I hate to pull support from the good cause but by God, you can not step all over a people while trying to help others, kind of negates the good work.
The second, your hero worship of Obama is disgusting Mr Caleb. This has nothing to do with the commie in the WH.

October 20th, 2009 | 8:01 am | #26
A few years back Komen made a deal with Planned Parenthood. They contribute to PP for PP to provide “breast cancer awareness education” for underprivileged women. It is said that Komen is also refusing funds for research into the correlation between a history of abortion and breast cancer.

Shame on them! My guess is that they were intimidated into taking this action, but are there none among us who are willing to stand up for what’s right anymore? (I know there are here, but there is too much apathy and cowardice out there.)

“My mom beat breast cancer 7 years ago – she’s now 83.”
Now imagine she had been subject to Obamacare? Scene: political appointee, career bureaucrat going over a stack of medical records; “76 years old, grown children, breast cancer, White, Jewish, female, some family members donate to the RNC, non-union member…hmmmmm. Palliative care only. Next patient!”
I made some assumptions based upon what I have seen you post, Kenny. But can you imagine a mother subjected to Post-Office health care, featuring decision making by the Olympian Loafers that comprise the US corps of bureaucrats? It is staggering that what this group of Marxists DESIRES is exactly the scenario that I described. In order to do it, they are willing to throw the 90% of us that have insurance coverage onto the governmental ashheap.
The fact that Obama himself has not loudly condemned this act by his savage Muslim brothers signals the world that the United States is no longer the standard bearer for Liberty and Freedom any longer. We have “Islammed” in the name of Barack Hussein mmmm, mmmmm, mmmm! The very nation which spilled oceans of her childrens blood in order to save the Jews of Europe, has an historical duty to shine the light on Nazi-like behavior wherever it occurs. Funny, our little club of Commies in the capital has NOOOO problem calling our troops “Nazi”, no problem calling those who support the 1st ammendment, “Nazi”, no problem calling Republican voters and taxpayers, “Nazi”. But those who call for the destruction and exclusion of Jews? No problem! It’s just cultural diversity! Freedom of association! yeah, that’s it!

You guys should be rooting for the Egyptians. You’re really just like them.
You do realize that you’ve gone beyond just being a moron and become a full-fledged, frothing at the mouth maniac, don’t you, cal?
If we were “just like” the egyptians, we’d be cheering them on for discriminating against Jews and Israelis.
Instead, we’re outraged that they are doing something like that (But you, obviously, are not.)
No. Your primary and immediate reaction is to go into maximum “cover obama’s butt” mode – when no one had blamed anything on him. You don’t care about the discrimination being practiced. You only care that it might reflect badly – somehow – on your little tin god. (He *could* have launched a protest via the state department, though. But he didn’t.)
Why don’t you get up off your knees from in front of obama, wipe your mouth off and try to act like a man instead of a love-besotted idiot.

Elector Of Saxony (and everyone else):
First off, as of this post, I have yet to hear from anyone at The Susan G. Komen Foundation regarding this matter.
Now then…….
As far as I’m concerned, right now, this is not about anything other than a charitible organization possibly being shafted by a so-called ‘religion’ who’s sole goal is to wipe out ‘infidels’.
To make this about the current administration and their goals of our subservience to them is a stretch, but I see how it’s easy to go there. I choose to not.
——–
If anyone from (or connected with) The Foundation is reading this…….
I’m patiently awaiting a reply from either the executive committee, or the media relations department.
You have my contact information.
Thank you for your time.

This is just the latest sleaze from the Komen Foundation. I haven’t given them money in years because they’re huge supporters of Planned Parenthood (the world’s largest abortion provider) and have deliberately suppressed studies showing a link between abortions and breast cancer. If they were really committed to reducing breast cancer, they would not suppress valuable information just because it’s not “politically correct.”
And as we all know, among the elites that run most of our non-profit foundations, the very existence of Israel is “politically incorrect”!

The Palestinians flock to Israel, since most of the Palestinian doctors have fled to the West. In Israel, they get some of the best medical care in the world. Remember during the Gaza battles recently when Israeli soldiers rescued Arab terrorists trapped in one of those damn weapons-smuggling tunnels, and not only spared their lives but took them to an Israeli hospital? These guys, who were Fatah partisans, had been tortured and mutilated by Hamas thugs. Fatah and Hamas are bitter enemies—but the one thing that unites them is their Jew-hatred. Yet those “hateful” Jews saved these suckers’ lives, and Israeli taxpayers footed the bill for their care and rehabilitation.

Amazing!!!! Anti-Semitism continues and good people/ good organizations remain silent.
From: Valentine, Margaret
Subject: Israeli/Egpyt Story & Statement

Statement:
“Susan G. Komen for the Cure was planning to have Israeli doctors join us in the collaborative events taking place this week in Egypt , when we learned at the last minute that due to factors beyond our control, the doctors will no longer participate. As a non-profit, non-governmental organization working to end suffering from breast cancer globally, including countries throughout the Middle East, our founder and global ambassador remain committed to their long-planned trip to Israel next week to begin planning collaborative efforts in a country that has demonstrated great need. ”

Hi:
I just received the same exact form e-mail from the Komen International media relations department as Mr. Cohen did above.
Needless to say, that’s not an answer to the problem.
I wrote back asking if they’re actually serious about not condemning the host country’s stance and not immediately pulling their sponsorship and people from the conference.

If the Komen Foundation EVER wants my support in the future, they MUST cancel this conference! I not only will never support them again, but I will indeed blog this and speak about it as extensively as I possibly can for as long as I can–and use the Komen name. Take responsiblity for stopping hatred against Jews and Israel–a nation which is leagues ahead of Egypt in human rights for women as well as cancer care.
When does never again begin if it does not begin the moment we learn of this sort of antisemitism! Never again, starting right now!

PMMoss, absolutely agree and my support elsewhere starts today as well as my complete avoidance of anything to do with this organization.
I have printed out a list of their cosponsors. I’m not fooling around. This sickens me.
I can somewhat get over some of the extreme politicization of our culture but starting with this foundations symbiotic relationship with planned parenthood and ending with today’s anti semitism they sicken me.
There are many organizations doing good work for breast cancer. Started today by giving to another one and likey more after I research.

I am writing to express my belief that the Egyptian conference should have been canceled by its US organizers. They should have left Egypt that very day if at all possible.
It is my belief that Susan Koman was a Jewish woman. Because of her legacy, this successful enterprise has made great strides and achievements. Today, it was reported that in Somalia women who appeared to be wearing bras were beaten in public. The depravity of the Arab/Islamic World, the hate-filled stupidity of a backward society, has again reared its ugly head. If it wasn’t for Israeli advances, where would all the Islamic women with breast cancer find hope?
I am angry that the Komen organizers allowed this vile situation to occur. Shame on each and every one who agreed to participate in this Jew-hatred.

Just a little something to think about for all of you who have somehow managed to make this our President’s fault: Nancy G. Brinker, the founder of Susan G. Komen for thr Cure, was George W. Bush’s Chief of Protocol.

Did they revoke permission/visas for the Israelis or for all Jews (regardless of nationality)? Just trying to get clarification about whether this is truly religious discrimination or not (because I would imagine that some of the other attendees from the US must be Jewish…so are they banning them from attending?).

As to SBKF cooporation w/ abortion….no where on their site do they warn women of the dozens of studies that have shown a connection between abortion and breast cancer. http://abortionbreastcancer.com/
Also, neither do they talk about the benefits of breastfeeding in prevention of breast cancer. If a woman breastfeeds for 2 years (total sum) in her life, her bc risk goes down by 50%. If this were a pill, it woud be on billboards all over the country.
