Students at the Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism knock FOX News for one of their class assignments.
You know they scored an A+ for this performance.

It must have been a very proud moment for the Columbia professors attending the event:

Via Breitbart TV

Of course, they received a standing ovation for their rap performance bashing FOX News.

Parroting the teacher’s liberal positions is an instant A. By college students know that leftist pap is the easiest way to get a better grade. Its much easier than actually learning anything.

Journalism Schools at most universities and colleges have been taken over by ideologues who believe the job of a journalist not only involves the why, what, when and where, but also the agenda. Agenda-based journalism is being taught by liberal progressives(leftists) in almost every school in the US, so you don’t have to guess what agenda these people are pushing. You see, there were consequences for allowing liberals to teach an agenda at colleges rather than making sure fair-minded priciples were being taught instead.

Let’s hope the clapping is for the effort and most of the message, not just the Fox bashing.

That said, if they hold up the ideas of hearing both sides and truly being honest, I’ll be happy. If they don’t, well, the internet is now the home of their constant ridicule for not living up to their own oaths and commitments.

Of that you can be sure. My daughter received her only C in a college course because she refused to parrot a lib teacher’s talking points and was punished. Another teacher, also a lib, but at least honest, gave her an A in another course, even though she argued with him every step of the way. Based on the behavior of the second professor, is there perhaps some glimmer of hope?

I think it’s time for FOX to help Dr. Taitz and the United States Justice Foundation with their Eligibility Case. That is the one sure way to remove Obama, anyone with any amount of intelligence, knows the guy is not American born, and my hunch is he isn’t even currently an American citizen. FOX, please help us remove him, please. With your help, and Judge Carter the former Marine, we can get rid of this cancer Obama and his fellow communists!

Pelosi: Stripping Fox News of Access

["That Fox regularly grants access to Republican Congressman to spread their lies and propaganda on their airwaves is a violation of the public trust, and their continued desire to challenge such well documented facts as Global Warming, and the efficacy of single payer health insurance, proves that they are simply doing the work of the special interests. They should thus be stripped of their journalistic access in the halls of Congress," argued Pelosi.]

They are a prime example of why a journalism degree is so worthless. Where’s the talent, integrity and ethics in being a lemming? Think about it, the best journalists in this country, and I’m reaching back to all of the good ones now gone, had no degrees in journalism which is a contrived degree to produce boring stylists. It’s all so stupid.

You can’t teach talent and morality. You can teach dumbed down mediocrity, groupthink and style over substance and that’s what journalism school is all about.

Newspaper readership is down another 10% this year. We’ve had enough of talentless lemmings. Good luck, kids, in finding employment in a failing industry.

I know firsthand how college students are expected to recapitulate their professor’s ideas, or face certain alienation, in various senses of the term.

My own graduate studies were marred by frequent ideological clashes; so I practiced the maxim, “Lose some battles, win the war.”

In my own practice, I like to teach my students not what to think, but how to think. I won’t always agree with my students’ opinions, but if they are well-argued and supported, they get an A.

Yes, I’m an anomaly on campus, but I do believe I’m making a difference, however limited or insignificant that may seem.

They’ve got it all figured out. And it works! For many years, 30% of the people have been making 100% of the noise.

However, now that they have their man in the White House, how soon will it be that they discover he’s NOT the Messiah?? That he’s NOT going to make their mortgage payments? That he’s NOT going to buy them a new Mercedes?

When that day finally arrives, the curtain will have been pulled back and George Soros will emerge as the REAL president – the REAL person calling every shot.

Seen many Obama-Biden bumper stickers these days? I didn’t think so.

Good grades in journalism does not equal good jobs in journalism. Where are these students going after graduation? If they really want a job in journalism, they best pay attention to how the few outlets that are thriving operate. If I were in jounalism school I would be looking at what Fox News and the WJ are doing, not what CNN and NYT are doing. Yhis class sounds like a job killer to me.

All you need to know in order to comment is the headline, which clearly states that these students knock Fox News. Which they do. Along with the LIBERAL NEW YORK TIMES.

    more from Charles Krauthammer..

Rahm Emanuel once sent a dead fish to a live pollster.
Now he’s put a horse’s head in Roger Ailes’s bed.

[Defend Fox from whom? Fox's flagship 6 o'clock evening news out of Washington (hosted by Bret Baier, formerly by Brit Hume) is, to my mind, the best hour of news on television. (Definitive evidence: My mother watches it even on the odd night when I'm not on.) Defend Fox from the likes of Anita Dunn? She's been attacked for extolling Mao's political philosophy in a speech at a high school graduation. But the critics miss the surpassing stupidity of her larger point: She was invoking Mao as support and authority for her impassioned plea for individuality and trusting one's own choices. Mao as champion of individuality? Mao, the greatest imposer of mass uniformity in modern history, creator of a slave society of a near-billion worker bees wearing Mao suits and waving the Little Red Book?

The White House communications director cannot be trusted to address high schoolers without uttering inanities. She and her cohorts are now to instruct the country on truth and objectivity?]

Considering that any first grader (or even two cats) could put together a video lampooning Fox “News,” those students should get a big fat F. When a British friend learned that Fox News is run by Roger Ailes of the GOP he said “OMG, so it really is the GOP’s version of Pravda!” Uh, no, it isn’t. Folks in the former-USSR were smart enough never to believe Pravda. Here in the US, however, we have about 5 million or so half-wits who think the drivel Fox shovels out is real news.

None of you would watch a news channel at this point that did not tell you what to think and why to think it.

Ha, look at all the trolls that have turned out to laud the fruits of snot-nosed brats singing the praises of a dying, discredited industry. Graduating from that pinko nut farm is supposed to be some kind of accomplishment? The only accomplishment it demonstrates is being able to mine mommy and daddy’s bank account for tens of thousands of wasted dollars.

The up side being they’ll have to find a real job. Like in retail or in a government cubicle somewhere. That’s because if the 2008 election proved nothing else, it proved that there is no such thing as professional journalism anymore. All you poseurs talking about Fox News would like to pretend that CNN or the networks are any different? After all the panting and leg-tingling we heard about over Obama? Ha! You’re comical.

With the exception of Shepard Smith and, occasionally, Geraldo Rivera, Fox isn’t much of a news channel.

That’s cool. Let it me a video version of talk radio. But you all ought to quit pretending it is an honest news organization. It isn’t. It never was.

I think we’re seriously dealing with an alternate-reality-track here. The Conservative Echo Chamber has reached peak efficiency. Any idea from any other historically based opinion shall be instantly un-group-thought. Ironic how you continually rail against government control and “indoctrination” yet never question why your own dogmas are so vehemently adhered to.

I grew up in a Fundamentalist Christian household and listened to Rush Limbaugh every day. I loved how he would make fun of “liberals” and firmly believed that Bill Clinton and the Feminazis would destroy America if they could. Then a funny thing happened. I went to a conservative christian college and started studying music.

    Then I took a history course…

I’m now an enlightened liberal. And Fox News has nothing in common with an actual news reporting agency.

So you’re a “former lifelong conservative” AND a “concerned Christian”? Aren’t you stacking your troll resume’ a bit too much? We usually get one or the other.

Oh, and I don’t even bother trying to defend Fox News with liberals, because they’re operating from the usual snobbery that the liberal worldview is the enlightened, “objective,” credible one, and even a hint of conservatism renders one a hick and probably a Christianist terrorist. Hence the conceit, advanced by our trolls in true lockstep fashion with their hero, that Fox is not a “real” news network, whereas the liberal whackadoodle stations are.
