What a shame.
The state-run media was trying so hard to lift this buffoon up…
Then he drops the d-word:
“The US is in a depression. The US is in a depression.”
You go, Joe:
Via Hannity
Joe must have missed the memo- “Obama rescued the economy.”

What Joe knows about ANYTHING you could lose in a thimble. He’ll march in lockstep with Obama right off the edge of the Earth. The man is a buffoon.

well duh! i’ve been out of work for 5 months, feels like a depression to me. and i’m not the only one whose been saying that lately either. it’s about time old joe realizes it.
October 19th, 2009 | 8:07 pm | #13
What’s below a “depression”? Whatever it is, it’s where we’re headed under Obama’s lack of leadership.
October 19th, 2009 | 8:08 pm | #14
Maybe Joe is being held hostage, and he is trying to tell us to rescue him, hence, these “truth blunders”.
Soon he will be dropping “rescue me notes” out of his pockets.
October 19th, 2009 | 8:08 pm | #15
Yup. And, like the other one, this one, too, can last ten years! Unfortunately, Obama’s no FDR! Hasn’t got the political skills. Hasn’t got the brain trust. As for Biden, he looks better and better. Excuse me. But an honest cop is better than a crook.
Comes 2012, though, Biden’s GONE. Who will “pay to play?” I do not know. But count on it to be a very rich White Guy. (An early guess? Corzine.)
Can Obama win re-election? Sure. Americans, now are so disgusted with politicians it will be a cold day in hell for DC to belong to one party!
And, if Obama does NOTHING, he’ll be a shoo-in. Since the republicans and democraps can fight like dogs over a 51%-49% margin.
Oh, yeah. The New Yuk Times will be printed in Spanish. And, Punch’s Pinch will be out of a job. But still living on his trust fund. And, also nailing down some tax losses. The union folk? Good luck on their pensions.

October 19th, 2009 | 8:33 pm | #20
Joe may be right on that one, past the “green shoots” garbage and the orchestrated media feel good hype we probably are in a depression. Biden’s numbskullishness was in uttering it.
Anyone else notice that the Dem’s senior brain trust is getting rather paltry, Teddy’s dead and the Clintons are being embalmed.
It’s got to be a nightmare with Obama’s handlers keeping a lid on things. Bimbo eruptions could come from anywhere at any time.
October 19th, 2009 | 8:34 pm | #21
I get in a depression just watching him. This reminds me. I just blogged about how the far left is asking slow Joe to quit. I assumed that would be for reasons of senility. Nope. They want him to throw a hissy fit because we are still in Afghanistan. Ya. That would change everything!

Someone tell Joe Nitwit his job daily is to call Michelle O and ask if B. Hussein is still breathing and attend state funerals whenever they occur.
It’s not a depression. He still draws a paycheck. Only 17% (25% of my family) of people have no work.
You ain’t seen nothing, yet! Wait until national health insurance and cap and trade raise the cost of doing business to ruinous levels. You ain’t seen nothing, yet!

http://media.monstersandcritics.com/galleries/1360660/0146441150085.jpg
Obama’s cramming them together. Look at his left hand on Biden’s back. It’s like he’s hoping they’ll hit it off so he can go and find a little somethin’-somethin’ on the side without making Michelle mad at him.

“The US is in a depression. The US is in a depression.”
That’s what happens when you run record deficits, focus job creation on the government sector, bail out failing enterprises, prop up leeching unions, propose trillions in dollars of additional spending, do nothing to discourage pork barrel spending and wasteful government programs, throw government dollars at corrupt community organizing groups, and instill approximately zero confidence among the American people.
But hey, Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize, so it must be all good.
October 19th, 2009 | 10:20 pm | #33
According to Drudge, the New Yuk Times is laying off 150 news room folk. Gee. I remember when there used to be ads “I found my job in the NY Times. Okay. During the 1970’s. When they were making money. Alas, now the people fired need to update their resumes. And, what do you say? I was part of the paper as it protected the elites, and lost subscriptions. And, then advertisers.
As to Joe Biden, I think he was a great choice for Obama! He brings a certain honest edge to politics. Which you don’t get from McCain. Who keeps trying to flap his arms ‘across the aisle.’ But he keeps running into GOP competition.
Joe Biden is head and shoulders above McPain and company!

Joe Biden:
“On the Limousine ride over here the low gas indicator came on. The limo driver said, “Joe, we are out of gas. Do you a spare $1,000 dollar bill to fill the limo’s tank?” I did not have it so I got on the Blackberry to 0bama.”
“He said he was coming down off the medicinal marijuana and coke from the Nobel hooker booze party and had spent all the $1.4 million and was flat broke.”
“When your VP is out of gas is a recession. But when your 0bama is out of gas it’s a depression.”
“We are in a Depression. A deep Depression. An 0bamanation Depression. And, it will take all of the taxpayer’s money; their credit cards plus a huge amount of debt secured by the taxpayer’s homes to get of out this 0bamanation Depression.”
“No, I cannot recommend 0bamaCare at this point – it sucks. I would not think of joining 0bamaCare. That 0bamaCare is pure poison. It’s toxic waste.”
“My limousine is choking of dehydration. It needs gas. It is stalled in the ditch. I cannot answer any more questions. I am depressed. Good day.”

The question is, can the Dems create another depression. We have everything in line for them (debt service is 15% of income even after some of the debt destruction that has occurred.) All that we need now are some tax increases, some protectionist tariffs on imports, a government that continuously makes it impossible to know what will occur next month or even next week because they change their mind (or won’t even tell us what they are actually thinking), and a government that chooses which businesses will live and die (Lehman Bros vs. Citi/AIG; Wind power vs. Coal Power; GM and Chrysler; GM distribution plant in Mass saved by Barney Frank; etc.)
If you think there is a recovery look at the following: shipping rates–how much stuff is being transported across the country; revenues (not earnings) because that tells whether businesses are selling more (those are still going down); home prices (the Case-Shiller is going up but that’s only 20 cities, the rest of the country is now being dragged down by the horrible 5 states); federal tax withholding (is going down fast); number of jobs out there (now 139.1 million, down from 140.1 million the previous month and 145.3 million the previous year).

You al falling for Obama controlled media spin again. The more you all attacked Joe Biden as a stumbling idiot, the more Obama can pass the buck. When the war in Afghnistand goes bad, Obama will be able to take ther high ground and say, it was Joe’s idea to have a troop surge.
The MSM is making the way for Joe Biden to take all the bad press for the Obama administration and then Joe will resign and Obama will be re-elected in a landslide.
Don’t fall for it. Barack Obama is he president not Joe Biden. Obama is still getting away with marking present and escaping the hard decisions.
