Maybe its the fact that he tripled the national deficit in less than one year?

Or, maybe its the fact that unemployment is at a 26 year high and his administration is more focused on taking over the health care industry than they are on creating jobs?
Whatever the reason… 58% of likely voters don’t expect Barack Obama to last only one term in office.
Rasmussen reported:
Fifty-eight percent (58%) of likely voters say it is at least somewhat likely the next president of the United States will be a Republican, according to the latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey.
The number has been trending in this direction since Democrat Barack Obama took office in January and is up 14 points since then.

That would be a start. Then we need fewer lefties in Congress as well.
November 9th, 2009 | 7:55 am | #2
It would be nice, but honestly, when the Obama propaganda machine gets cranked back up, it’s going to be difficult.
When you have 95% of the media controlling the information that the public gets and that same 95% is in the back pocket of the administration, you see the challenge.
November 9th, 2009 | 7:58 am | #3
Could it be that hard-working, patriotic American voters don’t like being called
“teabag, anti-government people”
by our POTUS?
November 9th, 2009 | 8:09 am | #4
We need to vote the Democratic Congress out in 2010 and 2012. Hope the Republican Party will take back both US House and the US Senate in 2010. Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee won’t get the nominee in 2012. Romney is not conservative. Huckabee was the Governor of Arkansas and he raised high taxes. I want to see the new faces of Republican candidates might run for President like Sarah Palin and Tim Pawlenty. They are new and young.
November 9th, 2009 | 8:16 am | #5
I can’t see Dear Leader lasting the whole four years. We’re already choking on the first few months.
November 9th, 2009 | 8:18 am | #6
The sheeple don’t care, they want free stuff from those horrible, evil, greedy, rich people.
That, and money grows on trees too.
November 9th, 2009 | 8:20 am | #7
Don’t know about you but my money tree is empty………….; )
November 9th, 2009 | 8:33 am | #8
You said “58% of likely voters don’t expect Barack Obama to last only one term in office.” Huh? That would mean 58% expect him to be re-elected, which is the opposite of what the story actually said. I think you meant to say: “58% of likely voters expect Barack Obama to last only one term in office.”
November 9th, 2009 | 8:39 am | #9
Well, much depends on the Republican presidential nominee. Nominate another non-conservative and “The One” gets to double down on four.
November 9th, 2009 | 8:41 am | #10
Democrats think they can bribed everyone with monopoly money to stay in power. Well, people are waking up and this country is going bankrupt. Deny democrats and his cabals to make billions of this monstrosity. Vote them all OUT.
November 9th, 2009 | 8:45 am | #11
Probably so, but don’t think that will change anything.
November 9th, 2009 | 8:50 am | #12
Better start vetting now and be ready with a solid, conservative candidate.
November 9th, 2009 | 9:01 am | #13

I wouldn’t mind seeing Pawlenty emerge. Like many of you, I think pretty well of Sarah Palin, but she has a lot to overcome to get in the good graces of mainstream America. Not the media – that’s a lost cause – but the voters. We do need new blood and the foibles of this Administration give us a chance to take our country back from a Socialist regime.
Now let’s hope the health care package dies in the Senate.

From their lips to God’s ears!
To non dhimmie:I suspect that most of those government offices will have caller ID on their phones and will spot most phonies. Why not concentrate on getting the attention of your own Senators and Representatives and work on them?
I doubt they respond to spam any better than you or I.
Then encourage others to do the same with their own reps.

How To Divide a Party, In Three Easy Steps!
So, you’ve decided to become the leader of a big political party. Only one problem: it’s too big! What to do?
Well, you’ve come to the right place. Here at the Horse Race Blog, we’ve developed a three-step guide to making that broad party a little more…narrow. Just follow these simple instructions and your majority party will be smaller and a little easier to handle in no time!

It is meaningless.

November 9th, 2009 | 10:26 am | #24
First things first; 2012 is still some time off, so the logical course of action is to concentrate on next year and erase the Democrat majority in Congress. It should also be possible to kill two birds with one stone by making extra effort to see to it that the candidates put forth next year are not RINOs. If there are any RINO Congressmembers up for re-election next year, they should be targeted too.
Once 2010 is out of the way, 2012 will be next.

Who Are ‘They’?
Obama the healer turns out to be a Manichean, and the country where divisions were to cease is now seen by our president as “us” versus “them.”
To Obama, “they” are responsible for all our troubles. Problem is, “they” are most of us.

The SEIU and ACORN pulled out all the stops in New Jersey on November 3. Obama himself campaigned for Corzine five times. And that election was held in a deep-blue state.
For the life of me I can’t understand why people keep telling us that Obama is invincible, when we just saw incontrovertible evidence that he’s not. What’s it going to take to make this reality sink in?

When Obama was elected it was to fix the problems this country faces–not to blame the American people for causing those problems. Republicans get the message — its time to love the country and its people again.

Here’s an idea. For all the people who want to moan and groan about how impossible getting rid of these commies is going to be, keep it to yourselves. The rest of us have to save this country. It was founded by a revolution and it will be saved by another one. It’s work for brave patriots. You naysayers, if you can’t help yourselves, go to the other side and continually point out how impossible it’s going to be to resist the change back.

I can’t figure it out either. I’ll admit to at first feeling all was lost, but as I saw more and more just how incompetent and hamfisted this administration is and as Breitbart and those two kids have essentially singlehandedly taken down ACORN, the more I realized that Obama is not some unstoppable juggernaut and his ACORN and SEIU thugs are not the SA or SS–rather Bambi is nothing more than Eric von Zipper and ACORN and SEIU are his Rats!
Barring something weird and arcane, Pelosicare is dead in the Senate and you probably won’t see anything coming out of the Senate without undergoing some very drastic changes (no public option, tort reform, portability of insurance, no mandate to purchase) and those changes will cause the left to howl. So, I would say that if we don’t get a healthcare bill passed by say Feb. of next year, then you probably won’t get one passed until after the 2010 election and by then, if we do our jobs, we’ll have gotten rid of the Blue Dogs and replaced them with true conservatives.
Far from being unbeatable, I would argue that Bambi and the Rats hit their high-water mark last Saturday night.
