ANOTHER SEIU BEATING–
bloody seiu
Ken Hamidi says he was beaten at an SEIU meeting. (CBS13)

HotAirPundit found the video report:

California SEIU members beat a state worker bloody because he wanted to expost the corruption within the union.
CBS13 reported:

A state worker is recovering after a bloody brawl at a union hall. He says members of the local SEIU 1000 beat him up and sent him to the hospital all because he wanted to expose allegedl corruption within the union.

Ken Hamidi is a state worker at the California Franchise Tax Board. Last night he walked into a union hall in Sacramento for an SEIU local 1000 meeting.

“We had every right to be here, very simple; it wasn’t anything private or anything exclusive,” said Hamidi.

But Hamidi says the union members did not want him there.

“Three, four people jumped at me, wrestled with me, then did all that,” said Hamidi. “I was covered in blood and then over to the emergency room.”

Photos of Hamidi in the hospital show him bloodied from the brawl. So why did this happen? Besides being a state worker, Hamidi says he’s an unpaid reporter for a cable access show and a vocal critic of the SEIU. He calls the state workers’ union corrupt.

“This is a union hall that is leased and is being furnished and equipped and everything with our money,” said Hamidi.

Hamidi says he came to the hall to expose how he says SEIU union leaders are spending tens of thousands of dollars on a political race, he claims, they have no right to do. After he and a photographer walked in to the meeting, it didn’t take long for Hamidi to be right out the door and on his way to the hospital.

The local SEIU says the man was acting like a bully.

well yeah…. what did anyone expect.

i w*rked at a hospital here in Lost Angels that was union optional at the time, and the SEIU was getting all the usual suspects to go out on strike.

i started writing up fliers, in the best American tradition, such as “Top Ten Differences Between the SEIU and a Street Gang”, printed them up on my own dime, and dropped them off throughout the facility….

one day, someone i dealt with every day, and who really should have known better, verbally threatened me in the hallway.

that afternoon i was over at the NLRB, filing a complaint. nothing really came of it, since i had no witnesses on my side, but after that, the thugs walked wide when they saw me coming. %-)

Right, the guy is a bully, but it beaten up by SEIU members….that is really rich. Unions, at least strong unions, are usually run by bullies – it is the only way they can exert power over the members…….common sense and gentle persuasion is out the window.

Here in CA. the SEIU is nothing but legalized street thugs. They steal taxpayer dollars and don’t care if they bankrupt the entire state. They are like cockroaches. There are more Govt. employees (SEIU) per citizen then in any other state, you would thnk that would mean quick and good service. Not so, they don’t care no one can fire them.

Unionized jobs are usually low skill ones. It’s not surprising that the bitter segment of the population which feels ‘entitled’ to more money and less work would flock to join unions. Neither is it surprising to see them fight for them at all costs against those who would seek to take their ‘hard earned’ positions away.

Fortunately unions are dying here in the US.

Union membership was dropping and this administration has staked their claim to union votes by implementing card check, exempting union members from the healthcare taxes and other actions.

Talk to the majority of forced union members and you will find all about the corruption in unions. It is rampant. It is why WA State lost some of its plane assembly to SC. Unions are killing W. WA State . . . hence, the rest of the state. Fortunately, E. WA is way different from W. WA. It is agricultural mainly. More down to earth people who use common sense.

California unions own the state government and kick back a huge portion of their dues to the Democrats in the form of campaign contributions.

It should be illegal for a government employee union to maintain tax exempt status unless they donate equally to both parties.

The union and politics mix in America is nothing new. Look at how some unions helped Solidarity of Poland under President Reagan. And there, it was in service of liberty. Union violence in American politics is nothing new, either.

What is new, as well as quite scary, is that for the first time in American politics, a union has been turned into the ruling administration’s personal praetorian guard and attack dogs; sent out to quell dissension and opposition of any sort. Even if it means violating the citizens First Amendment rights.

If the union paid for the hall, then they have the right to limit access to the meeting unless they’ve said that their meeting is open to the public.

That said, that doesn’t give them the right to beat a man bloody.

It is unbelievable that a public orgaization thinks that it is acceptable to beat up on anyone for any reason. Bully my butt, what were the attackers being? What if that man died as a result of this heinious act. Assault is never to be allowed. These people must be punished. This Union is not serving it’s membership, The state os walking all over the members rights, with takeaways and pay cuts and this Union can do nothing to stop them or possibly they don’t really want to?

If you don’t agree with Obama he’ll have you beat up. That’s the message that SEIU is sending out across America! I don’t think it’s going to work however, because sooner. rather than later, these thugs will meet up with someone who looks like an easy target but will fight back and kick their asses or kill them. Why doesn’t Obama speak out against these thugs , he sent them! If he can’t bull his way thru, threaten. If that doesn’t work, he attacks! This is the person that Ameirca elected to the office of the presidency! He’s done nothing but lie about everything and when caught attack the people who dare bring it up! SEIU is Acorn the group he claimed he had nothing to do with while he ran for election and then the truth came out and he’s neck deep the *&^&&^ caused by ACorn. So America what’s it going to be? Are we going to allow Obama and his thugs to change our country into some social dictatorship or are we going to keep our freedom and rights? Where is the prosecution of the the thugs that beat of Gadney and now this guy? Where are they? It seems the prosecutors in the area that this happened are pro Obama and doubt want to file charges over something this trivial. Demand the state step in and arrest the &^^&%$ political hack for conspiracy to commit assult! If the State won’t do it call on the Federal Government to do it. If they refuse get your guns because they are telling you that we the little people don’t count only the big people do. well we out number them ten to one and I for one will not be intimidated by buillies or tyrants! wake Up America! This is our country and we don’t have to do as they say, they have to do as we say! We’re the boss and we need to fire a few thousand people, then start over with citizen statesmen as our forefathers suggested.

One commenter said unions are dying in US. It WAS true, but with Obama, they are coming back. Here in Connecticut, HIGHLY paid State Employees are forced to be SEIU members or they cannot work for the State. I have relatives and friends making more than $60,000 a year and they have to belong to the Union. I would QUIT before I would belong to THAT union, or frankly, ANY union. I do NOT need anyone to speak for me, or take my money and do who knows what with it. I asked my niece how much the “strike” fund is, she does not know. The union bosses pay themselves big salaries and have nice perks, and do nothing but get in between management and employees.
