Pelosicare is for the peons and knaves…
Democratic leaders turned away 11 votes that would have required Congress to enroll in Pelosicare.
CNS news reported:

More than 200 amendments were rejected by the House Rules Committee ahead of Saturday’s vote on the Democrats’ health care bill, including 11 that would have required members of Congress and other government officials to be enrolled in the same federal insurance plan proposed for the American people.

Critics of the health care bill said they offered the 11 amendments – including some that would require the president, vice president, and Supreme Court justices to give up their Federal Employees Health Benefit Program (FEHBP) to enroll in the ‘public option’ or Medicaid – to showcase the problems with the massive legislation.

“If Congress forces our constituents into a public option plan over time, then members of Congress should be expected to do the same,” Rep. Howard McKeon (R-Calif.) told CNSNews.com.

The House Rules Committee attempt was the second time McKeon had tried to amend the Democrats’ health plan to include legislators in the public option.

“Democrats voted down a similar amendment, 21-18, in the Ways and Means Committee during the July markup of HR 3200,” McKeon said. “It became apparent then that Democrats are afraid of being put on a government-run health care program, but that fear does not extend to the welfare of their own constituents.”

Of course, this surprises no one.

100% Plus Taxation Key To Permanent Dem Majority

Is it possible to pay more than 100% of your last dollar of income in taxes? And if it were, would you bother to earn that last dollar?

Herein lies the key to how Democrats will obtain a permanent, economically-enslaved majority if universal income-based health care subsidies are enacted. And it is much worse and more nefarious than even the Wall Street Journal recently pointed out in Confessions of an ObamaCare Backer.

The key distinction is between marginal tax rate and implicit marginal tax rate. The marginal tax rate is the rate we all talk about – what absolute percentage of your last dollar earned will be taken by the government.

The implicit marginal tax rate is the absolute percentage of your last dollar taken by the government plus the loss of government benefits resulting from that last dollar. This implicit marginal tax rate can, and does, exceed 100% for the lower-middle and middle classes., and will expand under Democratic health care proposals.

The problem is is that the House is getting away with this crap. Really, who do these people think they are? Oh right, they are the people who believe they are elected to impose their own choices on the American people and not elected to impose the choices of the American people. They believe they are elected for their far superior judgment! They are arrogant, self-righteous retards,….the lot of them.

Obama Sr. believed a people could be 100% taxed, and the government could provide what the people needed – go figure.

    http://dinahlord.typepad.com/dinah_lord/2009/03/obama-looks-like-the-communist-nut-didnt-fall-far-from-the-tree.html

“Theoretically,” he wrote, “there is nothing that can stop the government from taxing 100% of income so long as the people get benefits from the government commensurate with their income which is taxed.” by Obama Sr.

I believe Obama Jr. is working on it.

Obama rejected the Senate insurance plan on favor of his wife’s gold plated medical insure when Obama was in the Senate.

Even the Senates premium government coverage wasn’t good enough for Barack and his own kids — but he’s goin to shove far worse coverage on the mass of the rest of us.

The oligarchs are going to I to us good and hard – and preserve a 2nd tier elite system for their own elite class of the annoited.

They are “getting away with it” because they believe we will just lay down, pay any tax they demand and do anything they want us to. They try to marginalize the majority by brainwashing us into believing we are the minority. We know we are not.

They label *us* extremists and are apologists for jihadists.

They misjudge the will of the American people.

These power hungry money grubbing millionaire tax cheats and criminals will be attempting to ram this down our throats 10 years from now. They just won’t stop until they get every last private sector dollar, and destroy all but the very poorest of us.

I remember a time when it took only one paycheck to raise a family, when saving money was possible, when jobs were plentiful, and when the national debt was manageable. And I remember a time when liberty and responsibility was perfectly balanced in America. And the saddest thing is that I’m only 52 years old – they’ve totally destroyed this country in just my short lifetime.

Throw every last one of these creepy waste of sperm socialist pussies out of office every chance you get.

Liberal sites have declared war against any Democratic Senator who goes against this Healthcare Bill. They claim they will raise money for ads and do whatever it takes to defeat them if they do not tow the line.

I can’t help but feel sympathy for them watching Obama destroy The Democratic Party. I would like to see this group of Dems hold a Press Conference and call out these thugs who want to bring them down for voting their conscience.

We can see how the Govt would run Healthcare by watching the mess they made of the Swine Flu Shots. As the epidemic worsens, vaccine is almost non-existant. Its not an important enough story for the media to cover though. Sympathy for a terrorist takes precedence now.

Slightly OT…What’s going on in NY-23???

“Recanvassing shows NY-23 race tightens even as Rep. Bill Owens is sworn into House seat”

    http://www.syracuse.com/news/index.ssf/2009/11/its_not_over_recanvassing_shows_ny23_race.html

Now a recanvassing in the 11-county district shows that Owens’ lead has narrowed to 3,026 votes over Hoffman, 66,698 to 63,672, according to the latest unofficial results from the state Board of Elections.

In Oswego County, where Hoffman was reported to lead by only 500 votes with 93 percent of the vote counted election night, inspectors found Hoffman actually won by 1,748 votes — 12,748 to 11,000.

The new vote totals mean the race will be decided by absentee ballots, of which about 10,200 were distributed, said John Conklin, communications director for the state Board of Elections.

Conklin said the state sent a letter to the House Clerk last week explaining that no winner had been determined in the 23rd District, and therefore the state had not certified the election. But the letter noted that Owens still led by about 3,000 votes, and that the special election was not contested — two factors that legally allowed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to swear in Owens on Friday.

“We sent a letter to the clerk laying out the totals,” Conklin said. “The key is that Hoffman conceded, which means the race is not contested. However, all ballots will be counted, and if the result changes, Owens will have to be removed.”

“However, all ballots will be counted, and if the result changes, Owens will have to be removed.”

    That would be interesting.

It’s not likely to happen, however, as I’m sure there are spare votes to be “found” by Democrats. If that fails, then there’s no doubt that Pelosi will try everything in the book to prevent Owens from being replaced.
