Jim Hoft

Now that the whole world knows that Fort Hood killer Nidal Hasan is an Islamist terrorist and nobody’s buying that he’s a victim, the state-run media’s moved on to a new tactic and are calling this Islamic radical a “conservative.”
Rush Limbaugh reported on this today:

RUSH: The media is twisting itself into pretzels — pretzels! — doing everything they can to deny the obvious reality of Fort Hood. Last night, CNN, Anderson Cooper 360, Special Investigations Correspondent Drew Griffin reported this about the Fort Hood gunman Nidal Malik Hasan.

GRIFFIN: Hasan made NO attempt to hide his religion or his conservative Muslim ideology, which is exactly why some experts are convinced Nidal Hasan is NOT a terrorist.

RUSH: Outrageous on two counts! There is nothing “conservative” about Islamofascism. These people in the media continue to refer to anything they think is evil as “conservative.”

That’s pretty sick stuff by CNN but not surprising.
It’s right up their with their conservative teabagger jokes.

By the way Hasan was known to frequent strip clubs, was against the Wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and said that Muslims should stand up and fight against the aggressor America.
This hardly sounds like your typical American conservative.

“By the way Hasan was known to frequent strip clubs”

Is it just me or do the majority of the jihadists spend their free time watching porn and going into whore houses? All of which is frowned upon by Islam.

As for the conservative ‘label’….I wonder what took CNN a week…heck I wonder why MSNBC didn’t use that the day of the shootings.

Expecting CNN, or any of the MSM, to be objective, honest or accurate in their treatment of conservatives is asking an awful lot!

So does that mean bin laden isn’t a terrorist because he doesn’t hide his religion or his conservative Muslim ideology???? I am certain liberals are brain damaged.

Do not worry about cnn. Rush told many times more people about their reporting today than they reached while doing it.

All a matter of scale there!

Meanwhile, there is a growing desperation by the liberal media to move their ’slam every time in every way’ attacks from republicans to conservatives.

If Hoffman does come back to win NY-23, the liberal media will all be sounding like Olberman within 2 days.

If memory serves it was Anderson Cooper who first used “teabagger” in one of his pieces. Now I find out he’s gay. I am wondering if he is getting this phrase from a personal (and obviously intimate) act with a lover? I’d ask the same about Barney Franks but the visual image of Barney hanging out over someone is a bit hard to stomach.

Which finally brings us to the President himself and his use of the phrase. Is there a side to our new president that we are unaquainted with??

I seriously doubt Hasan voted for McCain (a decorated warmonger) or Palin (a woman). A fellow Muslim will vote for another muslim every time, that’s a proven fact.
Anderson Cooper did coined the “teabagger” phrase first, now all the lefties use it as a sign of disgust to those that disagree with them.
Pastor Manning has already proven that the Long legged macdaddy goes both ways.

I’m not a usual defender of CNN and I consider myself a “right-wing conservative”, but looking at the quote, I don’t think they meant “conservative” in the political sense that we would normally use. I’ve seen the word used when describing Muslims before and it’s context is meant to imply a very strict, observant Muslim. Judge what you will about how that applies to Hasan, but I think that’s the angle they meant here with the term “conservative Muslim ideology”.

Fine, the don’t want to call him a terrorist, no biggie. Doesn’t change the simple fact that he was a devout Muslim, who made a free will choice to not be deployed possibly killing radical terroristic Muslims, but instead, cowardly killing his own fellow soldiers on base in the United States.

How can you call him a “conservative” Muslim, when he wore the clothing, talked the talk, gave speeches about beheading infadels, had prayer rugs in his home, attended Muslim mosques, and yelled “Allah Akbar” when he started shooting….. conservative? If he’s a conservative Muslim, I’d had to see what their definition of a radical Muslim is……. Meanwhile, those who choose to stand up for the US Constitution, show respect to this nation’s flag, and speak out against socialism, are called terrorists.

    Funny ole nation, ain’t it?

This sounds like an attempt to whittle away at the people who can be called “terrorists.” Maybe our would-be overlords in the media want to reduce the word to nothing, to make the very word “terrorist” as applicable to the real world as “superhero” — that is, you can’t really point to anyone in the real world and identify him as a “superhero” in real life.

Mr. Cooper is not rational. The problem of a mass murder can not be explained away by applying the term,CONSERVATIVE,to any person and/ or group. Moreover, I would suggest that Mr. Cooper read Edmund Burke for an application of the word,CONSERVATIVE.

There are very few real journalists anymore. We call those who spout their opinions all day “Jinos”. These are journalists in name only. The basics of journalism are the where, what, when and how. I couldn’t care less about their opinion. Tell me the facts and I will make up my own mind.

Really, strip club patronage doesn’t sound conservative? Diaper Dave Vitter would likely beg to differ, as would the coke-whore strippers in Minneapolis.

    But, whatever.

“It happened on Obama’s watch”. Keep saying it over and over. Calling Hasan a conservative is the distraction. The first terrorist attack on American soil since 911 happened during Obama’s watch.

    JoanneNo Gravatar
    November 14th, 2009 | 10:42 am | #28

Obama dropped the ball, and America experienced a major terrorist attack on American soil. Biden said Obama would be tested, and sure enough he was tested, and of course, failed miserably. Instead of admitting his failure to keep the American people safe, Obama is trying to deflect blame anywhere else but onto him. Hasan’s terrorist attack is just the tip of the iceberg of terrorism being planned to be executed on American soil. So is Obama just going to continue to deflect blame forever?

Believe me, these Muslims do not just frequent strip clubs to fit in – these are the same people who force women to cover themselves from head to toe or else they believe they are justified in raping them. Hasan wasn’t trying to fit in – he is just a pervert.
