Figures.
The nation’s leading teacher’s association is now pushing Alinsky’s “Rules For Radicals.”
nea alinsky
The National Education Association (NEA) website recommends Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals” for nation’s teachers as a classroom aide.

A Conservative Teacher Blog discovered this while looking for resources for his/her classroom. The NEA even recommend that every teacher read Rules for Radicals.

In the Age of Obama this is the new normal.
Barack Obama was weened on Alinsky-style politics while in Chicago.

Barack Obama was hired by an Alinsky protege back when he worked as a community organizer. He’s already been accused of utilizing Alinsky’s Marxist tactics.

Here is part of the NEA’s review of Saul Alinsky’s radical writings:

“Radicals precipitate the social crisis by action – by using power. Liberals may then timidly follow along or else, as in most cases, be swept forward along the course set by Radicals, but all because of forces unloosed by Radical action. They are forced to positive action only in spite of their desires …

* “The American Radical will fight privilege and power whether it be inherited or acquired by any small group, whether it be political or financial or organized creed.
* “He curses a caste system which he recognizes despite all patriotic denials.
* “He will fight conservatives whether they are business or labor leaders.
* “He will fight any concentration of power hostile to a broad, popular democracy, whether he finds it in financial circles or in politics.
* “The Radical recognizes that constant dissension and conflict is and has been the fire under the boiler of democracy. He firmly believes in that brave saying of a brave people, “Better to die on your feet than to live on your knees!”
* “The Radical may resort to the sword but when he does he is not filled with hatred against those individuals whom he attacks. He hates these individuals not as persons but as symbols representing ideas or interests which he believes to be inimical to the welfare of the people.
* “That is the reason why Radicals, although frequently embarking upon revolutions, have rarely resorted to personal terrorism.”

Alinsky practiced what he preached. He said, “Tactics means doing what you can with what you have … tactics is the art of how to take and how to give.”

Sounds like just the think you want your local teachers to bring into the classroom, huh?
Unbelievable.

I recommend R for R as an ‘opposition research’ tool…we must know how our enemies (bho-ayers-soros-et.al.) think–alinsky’s book is the best way to gain that knowledge….
sadly – the public schools have been propaganda machines for our enemies for a long time- perhaps we have awakened…

Mass murderers never view those killed as individuals not as people having human rights and entitled to dignity, but as mere statistics, or abstractions to be done with at the whim of these socialist dictators.

Remember when candidate focused on words as being important or that Saul Alinsky’s own son said Obama was his disciple? Now they want to control education and who gets medical coverage. God help us.

I would also recommend Sun Tsu “Art of War”. It contains and uncovers a lot of the tactics being employed, especially the use of spies. In todays reality these spies would be RINOs or Church ministers,Bishops etc. that go about undermining the very principles that made these institutions strong.

This is nothing – I’m currently working towards my Masters in Childhood Ed at Hunter College in NYC – it’s unbelievable some of the things ALL teacher candidates are forced to listen to. Just for starters, this semester we were told to buy a “textbook” called Sources – a collection of essays on educational philosophy – with a forward by one Bill Ayres. It also contained an essay by the same domestic terrorist. Nice. And it gets much, much worse.

Someday these kids will realize that what they learn from schools are basically useless. Destroying the future of kids will soon haunt the democrats. You cannot create too many stupid dependents. You will reap what you sow.

    Obama’s Real Bill Ayers Problem

[Instead of planting bombs in public buildings, Ayers now works to indoctrinate America's future teachers in the revolutionary cause, urging them to pass on the lessons to their public school students.

Indeed, the education department at the University of Illinois is a hotbed for the radical education professoriate. As Ayers puts it in one of his course descriptions, prospective K–12 teachers need to "be aware of the social and moral universe we inhabit and . . . be a teacher capable of hope and struggle, outrage and action, a teacher teaching for social justice and liberation." Ayers's texts on the imperative of social - justice teaching are among the most popular works in the syllabi of the nation's ed schools and teacher-training institutes. One of Ayers's major themes is that the American public school system is nothing but a reflection of capitalist hegemony. Thus, the mission of all progressive teachers is to take back the classrooms and turn them into laboratories of revolutionary change.

    [..]

Ayers’s influence on what is taught in the nation’s public schools is likely to grow in the future. Last month, he was elected vice president for curriculum of the 25,000 – member American Educational Research Association (AERA), the nation’s largest organization of education – school professors and researchers.

Teachers: They’re All Bill Ayers Now

[But there is precious little for serious scholars to review in this or any of his other books on education. Ayers offers a pastiche of self-promoting observations on the classroom, the need to inform children about “social justice,” like-minded radicals, and complaints about conservatives. Consider this from To Teach: “I know I celebrate a kind of teaching that is exceedingly rare. I know that becoming an outstanding teacher is an heroic quest: One must navigate turbulent and troubled waters, overcome a seemingly endless sea of obstacles, and face danger and challenge (often alone), on the way toward an uncertain reward. Teaching is not for the weak or the faint-hearted; courage and imagination are needed to move from myth to reality.” Such a passage inspires curiosity about the kind of drawing that might accompany it in the graphic novel.

Such self-aggrandizement occurs in his other books — and the fluffy style does indeed support the speculation that he was the ghost writer of Obama’s two autobiographies.]

The Children’s Story by James Clavell

[Johnny put up his hand. "It's our flag," he said fiercely. "We always pledge."
"Yes," the New Teacher said. "It is a very pretty one. She looked at it a moment and then said, "I wish I could have a piece of it. If it's so important, I think we should all have a piece of it. Don't you?"
"I've a little one at home," Mary said. "I could bring it tomorrow."
"Thank you, Mary dear, but I just wanted a little piece of this one because it's our own special classroom one."
Then Danny said, "If we had some scissors we could cut a little piece off."
"I've some scissors at home, Mary said.]

    Conversacion Ayers Parte 7

    [Luis Bonilla-Molina y Bill Ayers.
    Traducción: Chesa Boudin]

Chesa Boudin, radical chic Rhodes scholar.

[Boudin's parents are Kathy Boudin and David Gilbert, who were members of the violent 1960s radical group the Weather Underground. They are in prison for their part in the murder of two police officers and a guard as the result of a robbery of a Brinks armored car in New York at the late, unradical date of 1981.

    [..]

To make clear he has embraced the ideology of all his parents, he observes: “We have a different name for the war we’re fighting now—now we call it the war on terrorism, then they called it the war on communism. My parents were all dedicated to fighting U.S. imperialism around the world. I’m dedicated to the same thing.”]

I for one have no problems using Alinsky’s tacit on lefties.
Conservatives need to adopt Alinsky’s rules.
Liberals really get wee weed up when used against them.

    toot away!! (thumbsup)

i’m still hoping for the following to be posted..

Lou Dobbs: Shot fired into my home

[* "If anybody thinks that we're not engaged in a battle for the soul of this country right now, you're sorely mistaken. And the more you stay on the sidelines and the more you don't make your voice heard, the more likely
it is that we're going to lose this battle for the soul of the nation."

    * "My wife and I have been shot at, our driver, my house has been shot and hit. The investigation continues. I've had bodyguards now, you know, I'm not in the mood to put up with little fools like Geraldo Rivera."

    * "It's time we really awaken to what is happening in this country, it is ugly, it has to stop, and we have to find the courage to elect congressmen and senators, and yes, presidents who will speak truth. Not pander and not play politically correct games."

    * "We need to get real about what is happening in this country, and understand that if this battle for the soul of the country is lost, so much is lost that follows. Respect for our laws, respect for our borders, our ports, our national sovereignty."

    * "That respect demands, demands at least an honest debate on Capitol Hill about illegal immigration, it demands at least an honest debate on the airwaves."

    * "Why are we not enforcing laws, why do we not demand respect for our sovereignty, why do we not demand honest, open, straightforward debate."

    * "Why do we not acknowledge who were are, the most most racially, ethnically diverse society on the face of the earth?"

    * "Why don't we talk about how great this nation is, about the great things we accomplished, the great way in which we live, you know, the American way?"]

and he couldn’t be more correct on every count..

    crickets..

    via TRBO

Will Lou Dobbs now run for office of U.S. President?
