Jim Hoft

He really can’t help it.
Geraldo Rivera is “most upset” about the Muslims in America who will face “widespread prejudice and discrimination” because of this Islamic terrorist attack that killed 13 US soldiers.

Geraldo was on with Bill O’Reilly tonight:

Geraldo Rivera: “I think what happened in Orlando and what happened in Fort Hood Texas is the same thing. You have a paranoid obsessed, impotent, frustrated loser who takes out his rage whatever it is, whether he lost his job, or like the kids at Columbine High School who were being bullied in school or in the case of Major Hasan he’s got whatever his psychobabble religious beef is. They go off and they inflict terrible harm on innocent people to assuage whatever it is that’s bugging them. It is totally about them. It is the same story. And the people I feel the most sorry for tonight are the 12 to 15,000 Muslim GI’s who serve honorably and the four million Muslims in this country the citizens who are patriots and believe that believe in our country and now will be because of this, the way this story is being played will be subjected to more of this kind of undertone, widespread, resentment and prejudice and discrimination that’s happened really since 9-11.

Of course, Geraldo is wrong.
IBDeditorials.com released this chart on US hate crimes back in 2007, via Michelle Malkin:
1fbistats.jpg
The number of hate crimes against Muslims have significantly decreased since 9-11.

Jules Crittenden would likely disagree with Geraldo.

UPDATE: The Fort Hood killer attended mosque before his massacre.

Geraldo Rivera’s psycho/legal babble on Fox tonight was laughable. There’s only so much we can tolerate from Geraldo who is living in a fantasy world when he opines that Nissan’s Fort Hood jihad massacre is indistinguishable from that of any other sociopathic “loser.” No, Geraldo, it’s actually quite different when the inspiration for one’s homicidal rage is not simply “not fitting in” with everyone around you, but rather is the Koran and your Imam teaching you that that Allah commands you in holy jihad to kill innocent “infidels” to celebrate Allah’s glory. The speaker after Geraldo was a breath of fresh politically incorrect air–being a radical islamic terrorist doesn’t preclude you from being a sociopathic loser–in other words you can certainly be both–but it’s time for everyone in our society to stop being politically correct and worrying about condemning islamic terrorism as the sick murderous mahem that it is.

Sorry, this fries me no end. We were caught smack in the middle of Muslim “backlash” years ago – it doesn’t take ANYTHING for Muslim tribal tit-for-tat to get lit. Riots start on the stupidest unconfirmed rumors.
This hair-trigger rioting is from the old traditional tribal way to swarm, massive tribal solidarity against any single transgressor – a method to warn any outsiders to back off, and to be sure no individual is taken advantage of when alone.
Guarantee that most Muslims have never seen the likes of the restraint of the West, and the radicals are reading it as “weakness” not as incredible strength.
The Judeo-CHristian practice of settling things in COURTS, presenting cases can be frustrating, but it forces everyone to cool down and review evidence, before coming to judgment. Many innocent lives are spared by this. Mobs on the street usually get the wrong guys, and often no one’s done anything, it was just a rumor that played to people’s preconceptions.
These cry-babies are being dishonest, they have observed closely it takes A LOT to provoke an American or European to violence, much more than any Middle East or other tribal society, and they exploit that.
Geraldo can spend a few minutes of his “valuable” time reviewing the horrific Gudjarat riots in India before he complains about Americans. Never in American history compares to the Muslim ambush of a train full of Hindus coming into Gudjarat. The Hindus were attacked and burned to death inside the rail cars. When word of that atrocity hit the towns ahead, Hindus rampaged against Muslims.
Hindus who had nothing to do with it were murdered, Muslims who had nothing to do with it were murdered. Back and forth for days and days.
Have no idea why the train was attacked in the first place – the subsequent riots got all the attention. Years later, Muslims blew up bombs at the India Gate in Mumbai, killing more people, specifically claiming revenge for the Gudjarat riots. There is practically a standing riot over a piece of dirt, the site of a Hindu temple that had been razed by the Muslims. It revves up every now and then, people get killed, becuase the Muslims claim, one they raze it, the place is forever, irrovokably theirs. The Hindus disagree. Violently, at times.
Someone needs to get a grip on “backlash” all right, but Americans are innocent. Thanks, Geraldo for smearing the people of this nation.

Well, d*mn, Geraldo…the thing I’m “most upset” about is the families of the thirteen people who won’t be coming home ever, ever again. I’m “most upset” about thirty other victims who will be forever affected by this heinous act of terrorism. And I’m “most upset” about the candy-a$$ tiptoeing around by the media – including you – when it comes to calling this tragedy what it was, and is…an act of jihad, terrorism at its most basic and primitive.
As for the poor Muslims who might face “discrimination and prejudice” – looks like they ought to do a better job of policing their own.

    The Near Enemy

[We have two sets of enemies. The far enemy is the politics of Islam.
The near enemies are the dhimmi apologists, fueled by ignorance and multiculturalism and political correctness.

    [..]

The near enemy finds good reasons not to publish Mohammed cartoons, and find reasons to feel good about being a dhimmi. The near enemy criticized the Pope when he gave a historic quote about Islam’s violence even when Muslims killed Christians in protest and called for the Pope’s death.

A public policy of political correctness and multiculturalism
forbids criticism of Islam as being racist and violent.

    [..]

Pacifists are idealists, not pragmatists, so they claim that any historical failure of pacifism is due to the fact that they just were not pacifistic enough.

All pacifists are social parasites. Every pacifist lives in a nation that was created by blood, since every nation’s borders were a result of a violent struggle. Every pious pacifist depends upon someone else to do the dirty work of violence to protect them.

Pacifism can be seen as the societal version of AIDS. AIDS destroys the body’s ability to defend itself against infections. Pacifism destroys a society’s ability to defend itself against aggression.

Politics is a matter of perception. What pacifists don’t know is that Islam sees them as not as a kind and reasonable people, but as dhimmis. Dhimmis are indistinguishable from pacifists. They both submit to Islam on whatever issue is at hand.]

Geraldo calls Hasan an’ impotent loser’, but he wasn’t impotent – he managed to slaughter 13 people and wound 30 or more. The man is a terrorist and evil, not insane or a nutjob….but pure and utter evil. Hasan knew exactly what he was doing, and there is plenty of evidence the man was following the teachings of Islam – kill the infidel where you find them. He even thought how he could kill as many as possible before any retaliation.

muslims hate infidels, if you are a non-muslim you are an infidel. That’s just how it is. Hasan had no loyalties to the US or to the US Army, his loyalties as a muslim is to his fellow muslims.
Geraldo also has an agenda, his loyalties are to the minorities whether legal or illegal, he will always try and explain why they commit crimes etc. never blaming it as a culture issue.

“He was indeed harassed… called a raghead, camel jockey… and who knows what other bigoted names. ”

According to…wait for it…his cousin. Let’s go ahead and take that at face value, shall we? Maybe the terrorist (That’s right you junior commissars, you aspirational apparatchiks, you political thought police! The Muslim terrorist!) even wrote it on his blog himself before he murdered 13 US soldiers including a pregnant woman in cold blood. I would certainly believe this in a heartbeat if I were braindead or an anti-American Democrat like Harry Reid, willing to believe anything bad about our fine heroes is uniform and everything good about Islamic terrorists.

This is terrorism, plain and simple and likely the shape of things to come. Who knows, maybe it will come to a mall or school near where you live? Perhaps you won’t make stupid moral equvalencies when it’s a member of YOUR family caught in the crossfire.

“Awww yeaah, it’s just the same as when that guy shot that abortion doctor and it’s just the same thing because Christianity is more violent then Islam, which means peace by the way, and they’re just trying to live in peace but like the Zionist Jews and American Imperialists, and Bush and the Corporations, man like won’t like let them, and so they sometimes have to use violence because they got called racism and stuff. Man, I’m so voting for Obama. He’s all cool and not Corporate and sh-t.”

This piece of crap killed in the name of Allah, shouting it loud and proud. He’s the reason George Bush called it the Global War on Terror. Focus, realism, pragmatism in the face of peril. The new guy wasn’t comfortable with the language, so he called it some mishmash contingency operation nonsense, and now we have a guy shooting up a Military base in Texas. Say it slowly, affirmative action president; Global. War. On. Terror. Now protect those you pretend to command. How about a shout out to doing your damn job, President “Present”??

    Confederate Yankee sums it up:
Liberals Finally Got the Military Murders They’ve Been Asking For
These same liberals must have been thrilled yesterday afternoon to discover that an officer opened fire on our troops. It’s time for them to break out their magic markers and pen new signs to praise Major Nidal Malik Hasan for doing what they’ve asked.

I imagine that President Obama’s old mentors Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn are also pleased with the attack. After all, they sent Ayer’s girlfriend and other domestic terrorists of the Weather Underground to attack an Army dance at Fort Dix, an assault thwarted only by their own bomb-building ineptitude. If they had been competent, their attack on Fort Dix would likely have been worse than yesterday’s assault.

re: [This is terrorism, plain and simple and likely the shape of things to come. Who knows, maybe it will come to a mall or school near where you live?]

    just a sample:

    School Threat

[* According to two trainers at an anti-terrorism conference on the East Coast, preparations for attacks on American schools that will bring rivers
of blood and staggering body counts are well underway in Islamic terrorist camps.

    * The intended attackers have bluntly warned us they’re going to do it.

    * They’re already begun testing school-related targets here.

    * They’ve given us a catastrophic model to train against, which we’ve
largely ignored and they’ve learned more deadly tactics from.

    [..]

Al-Qaeda has publicly asserted the “right” to kill 2,000,000 American children, Rassa explained, and has warned that “operations are in stages of preparation” now. He played vivid videotapes confiscated in Afghanistan, showing al-Qaeda terrorists practicing the takeover of a school. The Ends Islamist Terrorists Seek

[The entire goal of Al Qaeda-type monsters is to provoke a reaction from mainstream America by pursuing evil against those who stand in the way of imposing theocracy. These fascists have no value for life other than that it's simply a means to their end of a totalitarian theocratic state. It is their ideology. In their warped view of religion they are God.

These are not the actions of psychopaths. Instead, they are the calculated actions of those seeking power and those afraid of freedom. They know that liberty's greatest weakness is its wide exposure to attacks against noncombatants (i.e., you and me) and the way in which protections against those attacks alter the very liberties we all seek to protect.

    [snip]

If American Muslims declare open war against Al Qaeda, Americans will rush to defend our mosques rather than allow them to be burned. Otherwise, with rage and vengeance, the freedoms so protected by our Constitution will quickly dissipate into a nation gripped by fear and hate of the “other.” And that is the ultimate goal of such horrific acts: to create a reaction which ultimately destroys the very fabric of our nation-the trust of one another, under God, under our Constitution. The children they would kill in schools on this “Perfect Day” would be a utilitarian mechanism (ends justifying the means) to achieve the destruction of the “American” way of life.]

my main fear, yes, fear, not shaking in my boots fear, but angry fear.. fear for the children our elected dhimmis use for an excuse to push forward their power drive.. they’re no different than the Islamists they kowtow to.. and because the reality is they would do it in a heartbeat, and it wouldn’t be the first time.. :-(

To what level is White House, Congress, US Armed Forces, DoD, FBI, CIA, DHS, DOE, NNSA, and the Nuclear Weapons Complex (LANL, LLNL, SNL, and the nuclear sites) infiltrated with Muslim jihadists?

It will be answered 24/7/365, and in years to come.

Eighth anniversary of 9/11 calls for vigilance

[The events of September 11, 2009 opened America’s eyes to the ruthlessness that militant Islamism can inspire. Yet eight years later our leaders and therefore our nation still struggles with the real threat that looms before us. The parsing of words in recent months of whether we are in a “War on Terror” or an “Overseas Contingency Operation” or even the Obama Administrations decision to designate 9/11 as a “Day of Service,” demonstrate that our leadership is missing the point on what and who the true threat is to America.

To lay it out in no uncertain terms, Political Islam has one goal, the dominance of the Islamist version of Islam over every aspect of life. Their belief in a theocratic form of government that stifles individual liberty is at complete odds with every principle that built America.

The ideology of Islamism (aka Political Islam) is in direct conflict with the west and in reality in both a war of ideas as well as a kinetic war on many fronts. Its adherents will use every avenue available to them to achieve their goal. Hijacked airplanes, terror attacks and separatism in the version of shar’iah courts are just weapons on many fronts to both militant and lawful Islamists. Without addressing both the peaceful and violent roots of political Islam (Islamism) together, we ignore the ideological chasm between liberty based western societies like America and the deceptive theocratic global movement of political Islam. Political correctness and a healthy respect for Islam as a faith have prevented the development of a serious strategy against the theological fuel behind global militant Islamism. The threat remains very real and we have seen militant Islamist cells stopped most recently in the past few months in North Carolina and New York.

The moves to advance political Islam by American Islamist organizations stand to benefit only other Islamists- whether they condemn terrorism or not. Until we are able to engage Muslims openly who are anti-Islamist we will make no progress in a cogent strategy against Islamism in both its militant and lawful forms.

Americans should mark this eighth anniversary of 9/11 by dedicating ourselves to being vigilant on all fronts in the protection of our individual liberties and the founding principles of America. These fronts include our neighborhoods, interfaith community, government, universities, businesses, and media. In particular, it is long overdue that we openly engage Muslims who are ready to separate mosque and state as a means to defeating political Islam. American Muslims should be vigilant in our protection of our faith and the freedom that the American system gives us to practice that faith.]

We can also use that in this situation.

If it talks like an Islamofascist terrorist, if it acts like an Islamofascist terrorist, if it hates America and western civilization like an Islamofascist terrorist (well, on this one it could also be Obamao, a Corruptocrat or one of their supporters…), if it stands up in a crowd and shouts “Allah Akbar” before blowing itself up or gunning down dozens of people like an Islamofascist terrorist-it is an Islamofascist terrorist, not an Icelandic fisherman with a Clint Eastwood fetish.

That trip apparently never happened. Instead, Hasan, wounded in the crossfire, is on a ventilator and accused of carrying out the deadliest shootings ever on a U.S. military base.”

The tripe quoted above comes from the end of the Fox news article about Hasan going to mosque prior to the shooting. I am most disgusted with the statement “Instead, Hasan, wounded in the crossfire…” What kind of P.C. moron writes this kind of stuff? Jerry should get together with Bill Clinton.
He was in Dubai days before arguing that Islamic terrorism is due to lack of opportunity in Muslim communities.
Unfortunately, neither Jerry’s or Bill’s arguments stand up to facts.
Take a look at Maj Hassan. He obviously had opportunity in the military and Jerry’s unsubstantiated whispers of discrimination do not bear up against the realities. None of his neighbors or his co-workers suspected his true intentions. That does not sound as if the man was under the lens of severe public scrutinity.
So where does the pressure of conducting a “jihad,” against his country come from?
Religious leaders in our country preaching jihad of course but let’s line up all those people, politicans, liberals and others, making excuses for the terror attacks. For blaming the United States or groups of citizens for decisions that the attacker makes. It doesn’t help when you take responsiblity for the attack from the attacker and blame anyone else. Control and responsbility belongs in the attacker’s hands and condemnation should come from all areas in the community.

Rivera is a pinhead. There are few wars currently on the face of the planet that were not instigated by Muslims. And Muslims are the most famous for domestic terror in countries all around the world like India, Sri Lanka, Britain, Spain, France, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Israel, Australia… there are hundreds of countries in that list. Do I distrust Muslims? Yes! They are the mostly likely people to turn violent or suddenly explode in a shopping mall. They are barbaric savages. When those statistics go down I will lose my phobia but until then I assume the worst when I see a turbaned man or head covered woman, or completely covered mystery sex person. It is scary because they might explode.
That doesn’t mean that I am going out and attacking anyone. But I do watch muslims more than other groups because they are scary.

As for Hasan, it was criminal that the Army did not act sooner. I heard on NPR (after making some ridiculous PC statement that you can’t determine if religion was part of this) then report that Hasan gave a speech at a medical convention (the type where you describe a new technique or medication to fellow physicians) and proceeded to rant on how non believers in Islam would be decapitated in hell and have hot oil poured down their throats. A Muslim doctor in the audience tried to interrupt him and say his interpretation was flawed and was shouted down. The doctors in attendence were horrified by the display. And then Hasan did a similar rant on another public occasion. Talk about a warning sign.

Here is a writen summation of the NPR audio.

We have a doctor treating soldiers who thinks the wars they are fighting are evil and that non believers in Islam are going to burn forever in hell? Heads need to roll (not actually as Hasan would support but figuratively) for sure, because someone seriously screwed up not getting this mad man out of the Army sooner.

And next time Andrew Sullivan or Charles Johnson or some other idiot disparges Christians over something trivial, someone please slap them in the face and tell them to shut up. I am sorry, but Christians and Jews are not doing these sorts of crimes. Muslims are. There is something very wrong with Islam right now. I recognize it is a minority extremist faction of the religion, I am not blaming all Muslims. But Islam and Muslims have to deal with and stop this madness.

With respect to the Hasan affair at Fort Hood, O’Reilly presents the views of Geraldo on one hand and Ralph Peters on the other. Geraldo, it seems to me, would be better suited to be representing the opinions of MSNBC rather than Fox and O’Reilly’s so-called ‘no-spin’ zone. Geraldo is an apologetic, liberal wind bag. Ralph Peters, on the other hand told it exactly as he saw it, as a previous experienced officer. Geraldo waltzes around the subject looking for sorry explanations….while Peters calls it for exactly what it is. No search for fancy words…just forthright, simple language.

Hasan was an American.. ‘born and grown’…who had a greater attachment to his religious faith than to his country of birth. He took advantage of everything that the service offered him as to education, profession, job, salary. His personal ‘contract with America’ was fine by him… until his country called upon him to fulfill the terms of his contract. His country came into conflict with his faith and, guess what? America lost. This story has a strong resemblance to those home-grown jihadists found in Europe and England. They do not need to be ‘imported’ but are ‘recruited’…..not untypically though the indigent mosques……to be ’sleepers’ until called upon by Allah! America appears to be in the same position as other countries in ‘the West’….the most extreme elements of Islam are among you too, as native born citizens.

Hasan yelled ‘Alluha Ahkbar’ when he started his job as an active, suicidal terrorist…..just like all such terrorists. He sought the declaration because he expected to join Allah and be rewarded for his sacrificial actions. However, he has been denied his quota of virgins: and so far lives to face the nation that provided much to him.

Left to the likes of Geraldo, in this ‘Age of Obama’ he would get off the charges levelled against him: when what he deserves is what the law of Texas provides for acts he committed.

From a blog I subscribe to which pretty much sums it up:

“Earlier this week I wrote a story about former Brookstone employee Peter Vadala who endured a day of harassment from a lesbian manager. She eventually goads him into politely telling her that his Christian faith doesn’t allow him to agree with her lifestyle. She files a harassment charge and Peter Vadala is fired.

This Army officer claims to be harassed for his Muslim faith, goes on a shooting spree and will claim that the anti-Muslim harassment drove him to violence.”

Hasan killed in the name of Allah. What more do you need to prove a Muslim terrorist performed an act of terrorism. The allegiance of a practicing Muslim is to Islam, plain and simple, just a fact. Unfortunately Islam has no allegiance to non-Muslims…..none, zipo,….in fact, quite the opposite.

The NYT today features the Muslims of Fort Hood now blaming the Military–blame blame blame everyone but the perpetrator. This is the culture of victimhood that the USA has become and which the Democratic party and the left now truly symbolize so brazenly. If it’s a “right” oriented “wingnut” shooting up people, they claim, we call it “going postal” but if it’s a radical islamist terrorist, we unfairly and discriminatorily call it “jihad.” There is quite a difference between religiously commanded jihad and just “losing it.” Religion, in case legally trained Geraldo forgot all about it, enjoys a protected legal status in our court system in the USA, thanks to the First Amendment. This country is running amok with political correctness but there’s finally hope that common sense and unwillingness to tolerate any more of this PC victimhood mentality will prevail. That’s, of course, assuming, we kick out Obama and his distorted administration, who tell us that we can’t use the word “terrorist” or “war on terror” for fear of offending MUSLIM JIHADISTS.

Yes, we can come up with all kinds of rationalizations as to why Hasan murdered thirteen people and attempted to murder forty more. That doesn’t help the thirteen people who are dead, and the forty that are maimed, or their families.

These orgies of trying to find the “real” cause for the crime are ludicrous. They are delusions, with which we try to comfort ourselves into believing we can prevent these things from happening through “understanding”. The fact is, the Hasan’s of the World are dangerous, and civilized societies have an obligation to prevent the suffering wrought by them on innocent people.

Apologists shoud take a trip to India and tour the Golden Temple of the Sikhs, their most holy shrine, the seat of their religion.
Sikhs were a new warrior caste set up by Hindus to defend themslves against the brutal Muslim conquest. Hindus had a choice, convert to Islam or be slaughtered.
The Golden Temple sits at the end of a walkway, in the middle of a man-made lagoon. It’s gold all right – covered in gold leaf.
Inside, visitors can follow the paintings which depict great moments in Sikh history – graphic depictions of battles against … Muslims. Wall after wall, upstairs, downstairs, Sikhs having at it in glorious gore against Muslims.

Not a big surprise that Sikhs and Hindus are on radical Islamofascists top ten list of most despised enemies. It’s not just the idol worship, it’s the defeats which must be revenged.

And all we get is whine, whine, whine, the poor put-upon things. I don’t care if any Islamofascist radical SAYS that, it’s a tactic of low-level warfare, undermining the will to fight. They try it, if doesn’t work, they try something else. Big deal, predictable. Not even noteworthy, normally.
The dangerous ones are the enablers – the ones who accept it uncritically because of their acceptance of another corrosive political philosophy that has at its core, a denigration of decent society.

“The enemy of my enemy is my friend” .. until the enemy of my enemy decides I’m not useful anymore.

The unholy alliance of the Left and Islamofascism.

Unfortunatly, there are a number of second generation Palistinian-Americans that see their true loyalities outside of the US. These people have learned in the US schools to blame America first, just like Obama.

Any way you cut it, this Palistinian-American Muslim attacked US soldiers and killed many of them. Do not be surprised if they are dancing in the streets of Palistine for his ‘glorious’ attack. The US media will NOT be reporting this event.

"Rest assure (sic) the slain terrorists at Fort Hood are in the eternal hellfire and it is not to (sic) late for YOU to change your policies," they said.

The website's mission statement states, "Revolution Muslim is a message and movement grounded in the sayings, deeds, actions and understanding of Ahlus Sunnah wal jama'ah (The collective body of those Muslims that adhere to the ways of the Prophet (SAWS) and the first four generations of Muslims)."

It continues, "We pray that we may witness the dismantlement of western, secular dominance across the world as we hold it to be pagan and idolatrous in the majority of its presumptions. We seek a resurrection of the just example set forth by centuries of Islamic rule throughout the ages and we hold it to be self evident for the objective soul and mind that Allah is One and that Muhammad ibn Abdullah is His Prophet and that the religion offers the solution to all of the world’s ills and afflictions."

We didn’t have a terrorist attack for 7 years after 9/11, George Bush didn’t allow that to happen. Mr. Obama is in office less than a year and the first terrorist attack occurs. The Commander in Chief say “lets not jump to conclusions.” “Lets think about this and get the facts.” The facts are a Moslem, a devout Muslim, Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan goes Postal or I should say goes Moslem and murders 13 of our young men and women in uniform and seriously injures over 30 more. This happens all over the world, its what Moslem’s do when they want to make sure they will get in to heaven, its what they have been taught, its what they believe, its what they do, they kill while in religious ecstasy. This terrorist rat learned this somewhere, lets find out who the prayer leader, that Iman, that good friend was and nail him for teaching hate, incitement to murder/treason and send him to the electric chair. Why are we not sending people into these Mosques where they teach such things and put these people in bug house or prisons or in a case like this, up against the wall. Why are we giving a maniac ‘religion’ a pass? They have been doing this for 1500 years and its nothing new. Obama is a wimp and will get us killed.

    re: bg @ 2:51 pm | #110

    a few flashbacks:

    Why American Muslims Remain Silent

[Paradoxically, Muslims in the US and Great Britain are, today, far more dominated by Islamist extremism than their counterparts in various Muslim countries. In many lands where the majority follows Islam, a struggle is underway between mainstream moderates and radicals inspired by the ultra-Wahhabi preachers of Saudi Arabia, the agitators of the Muslim Brotherhood in various Arab countries, and the virulent and volatile adherents of Pakistani jihadism. In some places, from Bosnia-Hercegovina to Indonesia and from Morocco to Mozambique, the moderates are winning. Yet the Islamic communities of the U.S. (dominated by the Saudis) and Britain (run by radical Pakistanis) suffer under a totalitarian regime of thought-control.

What happens when ordinary Muslims rebel against radical domination in America? They are ostracized, thrown out of mosques, and subjected to extraordinary public insults and threats. I myself was harassed in a Long Island mosque in 2003, as noted in this article. Shia mosques are excluded from "Sunni," i.e. Wahhabi-controlled bodies, and numerous incidents of expulsions of individual Shias from Sunni mosques in the U.S. have been reported to the Center for Islamic Pluralism, which I have established.

The "Wahhabi Lobby" -- an assemblage of groupings, headed by the Hamas- and Saudi-backed Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) -- controls the public life of many American Sunnis. It demands certification as moderate, but not in recognition of real moderation or loyalty to the American constitutional tradition. Instead, their demand for recognition and respect is a preemptive strike to shield them from a proper understanding and appreciation of their tactics and aims.

And how does the CAIR gang react when a moderate Muslim activist raises a dissenting voice? It betrays its guilt: accused of extremism, CAIR reacts by the extremist methods of menace and hate-mongering.

The latest such case involves one of the founders of the Center for Islamic Pluralism, Dr. M. Zuhdi Jasser of Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Jasser is a mild-mannered and manifestly moderate individual with a column in the Arizona Republic, the largest daily in the state, on Islamic affairs. Dr. Jasser previously founded the American Islamic Forum for Democracy. He is knowledgeable and devoted to the religion of Islam.]

    When Will We Learn?

[On June 2, 2007, right after the announcement of the JFK Plot arrests, U.S. Attorney, Roslynn Mauskopf read a statement stating,

“the defendants are charged with conspiring to bomb one of the busiest airports in the United States, located in the one of the most densely populated areas in the northeast…had the plot been carried out, it could have resulted in unfathomable damage, deaths, and destruction.”

This last time the Islamists were driven by a hate for the Kennedy name, but it derives from the same hate for America which is a common manifestation of global Islamism. In the daily practice of medicine, it would be malpractice to have a disease smolder with such a predictable recurrence of acutely possibly fatal exacerbations over a prolonged period of time while a physician only treated the symptoms and ignored the primary cause—political Islam. That is, except in the case of the terminal hospice patient. An unending series of plots across the globe against liberal democracies is our long war against an ideology. That ideology is not terror. It is political Islam.

    [..]

The story here is not only that international Jihadism is becoming more and more prevalent or that our security continues to demonstrate its exemplary proficiency and our good fortune. But rather, the real story is how we as a nation and Muslims as a faith community have done relatively little in the theological realm or in the political realm to pierce the machinery which ultimately ferments these rotten Islamist apples. The immediate problems to be cleansed are the rotten apples. The long-term treatment is to plant a different tree which will bear different fruit than the poisoned tree of Islamism.

The Islamist grievance machinery is the ticking clock of Groundhog terror day. Victim-mongering organizations like the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) and its fellow Islamists end up whether they like to admit it or not, providing cover for the radical Islamists who are perched at the same trough of political Islam. Militant Islamists feast and grow exponentially from the grievance mills of minority politics and the conspiracy theory machine of Muslim tribalism.]

again, please watch, listen, wake up to the reality that is radical jihad..

    learn more here..

in all honesty i have to say our Marxist health care bill won’t matter all that much in a few decades if we continue to ignore the war that Islamists declared on liberty itself..

you remember what liberty is.. that’s what we had
before Obama et al started their choke hold on US..

btw, Dr. Jasser’s life has been threatened, and it may very well have been the very Mosque Hasan attended that ran a cartoon harshly portraying Jasser as a pig (or whatever it was, i’m still looking for the link)..

Not even a mention of the wounded, or the family members who now have to endure the loss of a loved one or months of rehabilitation of their loved ones. This is just a cheap, sleazy lawyer ploy by Jerry to distract from the real issue: this guy was on a jihad and acted as all terrorists do by shouting out “allah ahkbard” before the gratuitous slaughter. Fortunately, his distraction won’t work since 300 US soldiers were witness to this piece of cow dung’s terrorist act. [Excerpt: In short, CAIR will make a stink when (male) imams are not allow to board a Minneapolis plane, but don't expect the organization to make an issue of honor killings.

The Arizona-based American Islamic Forum for Democracy, however, released a statement that mourned the young woman's death and called on the Muslim community to abandon its "denial that honor killings are an issue."

The group's founder M. Zuhdi Jasser, who practices internal medicine, suggested that while groups like CAIR may want to paper over the cultural Islamic roots of honor killing, they do exist. And: "If you identify the pathology wrong - in an incorrect fashion - you will never treat the disease."

Hooper told me that "the hate bloggers are trying to insert Islam" into Noor Almaleki's death. But the true haters are those who want to disguise honor killings as pious and selfless, when they are in fact brutish and cowardly.]

    “Honor Killing on Main Street”

[Excerpt: But across town from where Noor was killed in Phoenix, Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, a physician and founder of a group called American Islamic Forum for Democracy, said it's incumbent on Muslim communities to take responsibility for the expressions of ideology and interpretations of sharia, or Islamic law, that demand rigid conformity and demonize the West.

"Political Islam and sharia represent a collectivist mindset that dominates and suppresses the rights of the individual through an imposition of what they view as morality," he said. "They are suffocating the identities of individuals. They dehumanize their daughters," allowing crimes such as Noor's murder.]
