And on the eighth day God created carbon counting, and expensive solar panels and protected land for booming polar bear populations.

An executive has won the right to sue his employer on the basis that he was unfairly dismissed for his green views after a judge ruled that environmentalism had the same weight in law as religious and philosophical beliefs.

Maybe it means that when they assign Al Gores movie they’ll have to assign Mel Gibson’s too.

This should make liberal heads explode, but I suppose they are too stupid to figure it out.

I hope this happens in the US ASAP. No more global warming in schools, it’s against church/state separation.

Does that mean that as of now, the government won’t have to worry about recycling or green power, since it’s related to religion? And how about Cap and Tax, wouldn’t that be a series of laws that impact a specific religion, so wouldn’t that be illegal as well?

    The possibilities are endless!

Sounds like time for me to create my own religion. How about this one:

If you give me all of your money, I will bear all of your sins. As money is the root of all evil, if you give all of it that you have to me then I will, in your stead, drink, smoke, gamble, and chase loose women and you can be assured of living a pious life by not being able to afford vices.

My boss won’t be able to fire me when I come in all hung over and stuff because I would be “the savior” and would be my religious duty to party. Firing me would be religious persecution and my sloth at work is due merely to my religious practices which require that I over indulge in everything.

Now I need a catchy name … Gluttonist … I dunno, I will have to think about it some more.

Embrace being a Global Warming heretic, take it as a title of pride, just as when a Muslim refers to you as an infidel (ironic given Islam’s satanic origin). Also use it’s….status as a religion to assail it. Beat environmentalism relentlessly and the impenetrable surface will crack exposing the rubber bands and gum which hold this house of cards together (well that and NASA skewing its own data, the scientists there selling out their names for money like a whore sells her body for crack).

This is true and Gaia has been part of the New Age Movement and Wicca (Witches International) which worships nature over man for years (but nothing new; Romans 1: 25 ). And goes all the way to the UN Meditation Room

By Cliff Kincaid, President, America’s Survival, Inc.

    http://www.usasurvival.org/cultofgaia.html

    Very Important;

Pass this on to all you know please!!!! And sign the petition

    http://www.globalclimatescam.com/

U.S. taxpayers are being forced to subsidize a new form of state religion which holds that natural resources have to be protected for the sake of Gaia, a so-called Earth spirit. This religious movement, which has cult-like qualities, is being promoted by leading figures and organizations such as Vice President Albert Gore, broadcaster Ted Turner, and the United Nations.
Gore, who as a member of the U.S. Senate participated in the 1992 U.N.-sponsored Earth Summit, is the most prominent member of what appears to be an environmental cult built around the concept of reverence for the Earth. Gore has written openly about the Earth having sacred qualities and he has praised primitive pagan religions and goddess worship.
Another key player is Ted Turner, who has turned his broadcasting empire into a virtual arm of the United Nations. A noted critic of Christianity and ambassador on behalf of the U.N. Population Fund, he promotes the concept of Gaia in his television programs, such as the “Captain Planet” cartoon show, in which characters get magic powers from an Earth spirit or goddess.
At the United Nations, the U.N. Environmental Program, founded by Maurice Strong, promotes the idea of an “Environmental Sabbath,” a variation of the Gaia concept. Strong, now the Executive Coordinator for United Nations Reform under Secretary-General Kofi Annan, has described the global environmental movement in terms suggesting a religious crusade. One of Strong’s organizations, the Earth Council, has produced an “Earth Charter” for the world that refers to respect for “Mother Earth” and animal rights.
As Turner’s involvement suggests, this Cult of Gaia has a definite anti-Christian orientation. Traditional Christianity is regarded by this movement as anti-environmental because God is viewed as being apart from the Earth itself.
Those promoting the Gaia concept have no qualms about using the full force of government, even the international resources of the United Nations, to impose their beliefs on the rest of us. If they are successful in their drive for “sustainable development” to protect Gaia, they could stifle economic growth and promote a drastic decline in the American standard of living.
Congressional hearings are urgently needed to explore whether forced U.S. taxpayer underwriting of this bizarre religious movement constitutes a violation of the First Amendment prohibition on the establishment of a state church.

You are less than bird and flower.

Can you will your self to stay?

I would not go lumping all the greens into one category like that. Indeed it appears that the majority of them are ‘modern’ communists who realized that spreading Marxism doesn’t work, so they take a back-door to control while advocating the environment. They are called Watermelons or eco-socialists. The fervor they display is easily reminiscent of any person of faith because communists have no faith. This is the religion of the non-religious.

It is no coincidence that as the communist movement stalled the Green movement soared, nor is it a coincidence that many former communists are now environmentalists.

So anything you WANT to be a religion can be a religion. Any belief carries the same legal protections as a religion. What if Al Gore wants to marry a tree and fux it’s knot hole.
Do lib judges grant him a marriage license.
    Here is the gig.
Law Schools are filled with LIBTARDS. Lawyers are generally libtards, Judges are lawyers.

Hmmm… Separation of church and state comes to mind… If environmentalism has the same weight in law as religion and “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion”- isn’t cap and trade legislation in violation of the First Amendment?

    thanks..

keep telling everyone that Obama’s “intent” is to unite church/mosque/
state via “Covenant for a New America”.. establish Sharia Law, sign US sovereignty over to the auspices of the UN (Caliphate, of which he will
reign supreme if he gets his way, and if allowed to, he eventually will no matter what “we the people” say, as Obama is certainly not alone in this obviously long time in the making endeavor, he is the ONE the powers
that be chose to do the “transitioning”)..

    just a sample:

Soros & Strong are behind the power grab for the
New World Order under the auspices of the UN..

Eco-economic Warfare and the Planned Collapse of Western Civilization

[Maurice Strong is perhaps most widely known as the co-author of the 1994 Earth Charter with the communist and former Russian president Mikhail Gorbachev, who once stated that the threat of environmental crisis will be the "international disaster key that will unlock the New World Order." Strong's rise to prominence as internationalist gofer to the Rothschilds and Rockefellers goes back to 1946, when Strong was just 17 and working as a clerk at the United Nations in New York City. It was here that Strong was befriended and recruited by David Rockefeller. Despite his minimal credentials of only a high school diploma, Strong is moved up the ladder quickly following his introduction to Rockefeller, becoming a millionaire by his mid-20s, during the Alberta oil and gas boom. At the age of 25, Strong became the President of Dome Petroleum in Calgary. By the age of 35, he is the CEO of the Power Corporation of Canada. While at the Power Corporation, Strong hires Paul Martin and James Wolfensohn, both of whom would move up the ladder quickly and go on to hold high positions of power -- Martin as Prime Minister of Canada, and Wolfensohn as President of the World Bank. (Strong would later become an advisor to Wolfensohn at the World Bank.)

At the UN, Strong would go on to become Director of the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP), Senior Advisor to UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, and Chairman of the Earth Council. He would also become Chairman of the World Resources Institute, Co-Chairman of the Council of the World Economic Forum, and a member of Toyota's International Advisory Board. Strong's most influential role to date, however, has been as the Secretary-General of the 1992 UN Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED -- aka the Earth Summit) in Rio de Janeiro. It was this conference that gave birth to the Earth Charter and Agenda 21, which would lay the groundwork for a completely managed global society run and managed under the auspices of the UN, under the guise of saving the environment.

It is people such as Maurice Strong, Mikhail Gorbachev, Al Gore, and Ted Turner that are at the forefront of the UN's environmental/depopulation agenda, at least at the visible/gofer level. The four are also members of, or have close connections to the Club of Rome. It is the Club of Rome that has been guiding the environmental movement since its creation at the Rockefellers' estate in Bellagio, Italy in 1968. It's aim is to reduce a large majority of the global population, as well as manufacture crisis through which the world can be "united" under a one world government, as was admitted in their 1991 publication, titled The First Global Revolution.]

    Agenda 21

The Rio Declaration on Environment and Development

the nightmare of it all is ringing truer & truer every
day.. hope we wake up before it becomes a reality..
