** Democrats are looking to vote on their bill tonight between 6-8 PM.

The House Democrats will go ahead with their vote to take over the nation’s health care system today.
The AP reported:

President Barack Obama is traveling to Capitol Hill on Saturday to try to close the sale on his signature health care overhaul, facing a make-or-break vote in the House certain to be seen as a test of his presidency.

Obama scheduled a late-morning visit with House Democrats convening a rare Saturday session on legislation to remake the U.S. health care system, extending coverage to tens of millions now uninsured and banning insurance company practices such as denial of coverage based on pre-existing medical problems.

Late Friday, House Democrats cleared an abortion-related impasse blocking a vote and officials expressed optimism they had finally lined up the support needed to pass Obama’s signature issue.

Under the arrangement, Democratic Reps. Bart Stupak of Michigan, Brad Ellsworth of Indiana and other abortion opponents were promised an opportunity to insert tougher restrictions into the legislation during debate on the House floor.

The leadership’s hope is that no matter how that vote turns out, Democrats on both sides of the abortion divide will then unite to give the health care bill a majority over unanimous Republican opposition.

“We wish to maintain current law, which says no public funding for abortion,” Stupak said. “We are not writing a new federal abortion policy.”

Here is the list of the so-called Blue Dog Democrats to target this morning:

Please please please e-mail your congressman today, espcially if he / she is one of the so-called Blue Dog Dems. We’ve GOT to derail this train wreck legislation now, and hand The Annointed One his first big defeat since his huge electoral losses on Tuesday. The Annointed One and his leftist Dems need to be humiliated on this. So please e-mail them today. Here’s the e-mail I just sent to my congressman, Rep. Patrick Murphy (D-Pelosi/Soros):

    Dear Rep. Murphy:

I hope you’re listening to your thousands of constituents who oppose the House health care bill being voted on this weekend, because it will limit our health insurance choices, force many us out of our current employer-provided plans, increase our health insurance premiums, add to the federal deficit, raise taxes, increase government control over our lives, lead to government-controlled rationing, and discourage innovation in U.S. health care.

I, for one, will work tirelessly over the next year to elect whomever opposes you in the 2010 election, via money and volunteer efforts, if you vote for ANY form of this disastrous bill masquerading as health care “reform.”

    Sincerely,

    ///////////

    Dear Rep Tom Perriello (Va-5),

There’s a name for you if you vote for this. “One-termer.” Did you see the election results here in Virginia last Tuesday? 60-40. Huh.

Don’t worry. Maybe Creigh Deeds will be looking for someone to start a law firm with.

    Have a nice day,
    Jim Ryan

Herseth Sandlin of South Dakota has said she will not vote for this bill as she is hoping it can be improved upon. Evidently, they feel they have enough votes that she can vote no due to her re-election chances if she supports it.

I called Dennis Moore yesterday at two of his offices. Apparently, he is for this bill and will vote for it with the public option. He thinks the public option will save money: http://www.moore.house.gov/index.cfm?sectionid=44&sectiontree=8,44&itemid=268

He is one ‘blue dog’ that has never really been a blue dog. He just comes across that way in campaigns in order to get elected in Kansas. we will oust him at the polls in 2010.

At two thousand pages in length, this bill is almost certain to grow even more in size and complexity as time goes on and more hands take turns stirring the pot.

    Three Strikes against Obamacare

    A Few Good Democrats

Radicalism may be in fashion in Nancy Pelosi’s district and in the salons in which Barack Obama was educated, but it may be less so in south Texas, rural Ohio, northeastern Pennsylvania, western Colorado, and other places where Democrats will have to face the voters again soon enough.

The only two leaders in recent history that habitually like to pull this kind of crap on a weekend were Nixon and Hitler.

If the shoe fits and all that…

It should be fairly obvious to all by now that Obamao and the Corruptocrats don’t give a damn about the 2010 “election”. No totalitarian regime does because they make damn sure that all an “election” is just a rubber stamp for their policies.

The question you better ask yourself today is if you are willing to give up your freedoms and live under a totalitarian regime because, quite frankly, that is what we have right now.

    http://cbs11tv.com/wireapnewstx/George.W.Bush.2.1298076.html

FORT HOOD, Texas (AP) ― Former President George W. Bush and his wife, Laura, visited wounded soldiers and their families near the site of the worst mass shooting on an Army post in the United States.

The Bushes made their private visit to Fort Hood’s Darnall Army Medical Center on Friday night. Bush spokesman David Sherzer said in an e-mail that the couple thanked Fort Hood’s military leaders and hospital staff for the “amazing care they are providing.”

An Army psychiatrist, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, is accused of killing 13 people and wounding 30 in a shooting rampage Thursday at a Soldier Readiness Processing Center on the post.

Hasan was wounded by a civilian police officer and was taken into custody.

The Pelosi bill says people will be jailed up to five years and fined if they don’t purchase Gov’t healthcare (See Drudge Report). I have news for Pelosi, she doesn’t have enough jails, policmen or Federal officers to arrest the 47 or more million people who will not accept taxes or be forced to buy anything from the government. This is unconstitutional in its entirety not just the forced part. Government cannot take over that much of our economy. All State legislatures should be enforcing the 10th amendment securing state rights. Every person who votes for this should be marched out of the Congress in handcuffs. I want jail time for these crooks. Just voting them out isn’t enough, it’s only a start.

We’re a long way before people have to make the decision to go to jail for principles or not as yet. Assuming this atrocity passes the House, it still has to get through the Senate, where it is considerably more difficult to ramrod legislation through. Already now, we have Coburn threatening to call for full readings of the bill before debate and there are a variety of other means the minority can use to hold this thing up in the upper chamber, so, all is not lost.

If this does pass the House and your Blue Dog voted for it, then let him/her know that in 2010 they will be out of a job and then do everything you can to make sure that event happens. If this atrocity passes both House and Senate, then we’ve 2010 and, if need be, 2012, to get this thing repealed. If it can’t be repealed or neutered, then, it will be time for each of us to think about whether we are ready to pay the price for civil disobedience or not. Keep in mind, if anyone does decide to attempt to force a court case to bring to the Supreme Court to force a constitutional ruling, it will be a difficult struggle. They will move harshly at those refusing to toe the line–expect to be charged with the felony count as they will want to make an example out of any who resist. Be sure you understand what you will be facing and be sure your family understands and agrees as well, because they will pay a price too.

But, as I said, we’re still a long…long way from that point. We’re only in the first quarter folks and it’s a four quarter game.

Congressman Eric Massa (NY-29), no Blue Dog and by no means a conservative Democrat, has pledged to vote “no” on Pelosicare today, his office told me. Now, he’ll vote “no” because he doesn’t think the bill goes far enough (he’s a socialized medicine guy all the way), but a “no vote” is still a “no vote.”

And for a pretty liberal guy, he also voted “no” on cap-and-trade, so we’ll take a win when we can get one.

Why bother with Mike Thompson? He’s a lapdog Democrat for San Fran Gran Nan. Even the local paper covers his records for him!
