“I’m afraid that our colleagues in the House added a lot on to their bill to subtract from the genuine purposes of health care reform.”

Former Dem VP candidate Joe Lieberman bashed the House health care bill today.

The Connecticut maverick reacted to last night’s news that House democrats passed their nationalized health care legislation. He still says if public option is in the bill he will not allow this bill to come to a final vote in the US Senate.

From his appearance on FOX News Sunday.

Cap-&-Traitor Lindsey Graham announced today that Pelosicare is “dead on arrival” in the US Senate.

Oh oh…if Lieberman holds fast, the only way for the liberal’s dream to pass the Senate is for Reid to go for the nuclear option that will likely destroy the Democrat party’s majority in the next election.

Say it ain’t so, Joe. Are you a single issue voter?
    Sounds like it.

What about the rest of the problems with this Bill?

Here’s a thought, Joe, vote against it.

    Period.

Here is what Obama is quoted as saying to a closed session of Democrats just prior to the vote last night:

“Does anybody think that the teabag, anti-government people are going to support them if they bring down health care? All it will do is confuse and dispirit” Democratic voters “and it will encourage the extremists.”

This is how tyrants marginalize the opposition. As a recent example Chavez uses very similar language against his opponents.

History provides numerous examples of what this rhetoric leads to.

And will in time, this rhetoric will make it easier for his thugs like the SEIU, ACORN, to physically target us.

The media, of course, will provide cover for the brutal suppression about to unfold.

The only way to stop the momentum is to have ELECTABLE, conservative Republicans announce campaigns against “blue dog” Dems in every red district and state in the country. Otherwise, the Dems, including Lieberman will fall in line.

    1) Stimulus
    2) Auto takeover
    3) Bank takeover
    4) Cash for clunkers
    5) Cap n Trade
    6) ObamaCare

So far, we as conservatives are 0 for 6. They become emboldened with every victory. We need candidates to take the fight with us to these districts and states.

Deathcare is an abomination, and I pray it will not go through.

If it does, it seems the only way many of us will actually be able to get medical treatment for a serious illness is if we convert to Islam and commit a crime, any crime, in the name of “allah.” I’m pretty sure Muslim terrorists will still be getting the best medical care money can buy.

Can anyone tell me, even in general terms, what in the world they added to this bill with one THOUSAND new pages?

No one even knows, including the always obsequious and venal Democrats who voted for it.

Well get ready for it to pass the Senate. Obama has already told them he wants the bill on his desk BY the new year.

    What a Christmas present, eh?

Another quote from that closed door pep talk session with the Dems before the vote:

“Think about Bill Owens. He could have dodged it [healthcare], but he didn’t. And guess what. Bill is sitting right here.”

    http://abcnews.go.com/

If the issue of “healthcare” is the thing Obama says Owens didn’t “dodge” — it could also be said Owens didn’t dodge the ever popular (to the Left) “being deceitful” about all things.

Had he told the truth about how he’d vote, good old Bill wouldn’t have been ” sitting right here.”

I’d love to see the Governors of the various states conven a Constitutiona Convention to proposed several amendments:
    a) To limit term limits.
    b) To strengthen the limits of the Commerce Clause to control only actions between State Governments that impeded free trade (IMO the original idea behind the Commerce Clause.
    c) Require SCOTUS to use the Constitution and not private agendas and make it an impeachable offense if they don’t.
There are a few others, but these are the heart.
