And, just think, he’s supposed to be the moderate liberal!
Juan Williams attacked Sarah Palin personally yesterday on FOX News Sunday saying she was self-centered and a bad mother.
The Creative Minority reported, via Free Republic:

Disgraceful.
Could you imagine if a conservative would call a liberal politician a “bad mother?”
You’d never hear the end of it. But, when there is a conservative woman involved it’s open season… and descriptive words like “shrill” and “vocal” are the rule rather than the exception.

It’s too bad the video clip cut off Kristol’s response. After Williams was through attacking Sarah Palin Bill Kristol said, “At least she doesn’t bow to the emperor of Japan.”

You know, you’d think that maybe the salad-tosser class might have figured out that trying to destroy this woman after the election was over might not have been the smartest thing in the world to do.

She was in a nice comfortable box up there in Alaska, and the salad tossers decided to start poking her with sticks. Now she’s out of the box, and now they have to deal with her.

I can’t stand him. He voted for a skin color, not a person, as did many of these leftists. I won’t watch anything he’s on. It’s repugnant, that he would say this. They are petrified that if the truth gets out about how wonderful she is, they will be slaughtered at the polls, and so they keep degrading her. Juan, after Obama Sarah is going to be the most welcome person to ever come along. She is America, Obama is Kenya/Indonesia, I want an America!

    On Palin “quitting”:

Governor Palin was getting pummelled with ethics complaints more ferociously than any politician since President Clinton. These complaints weren’t for anything serious, like improper influence or anything like that, but for things like wearing a jacket to a sporting event that had a company logo on it. Worse, she had to pay out of her own pocket for court costs, no matter how idiotic the bases for the complaints were. Worse still, dealing with the ethics complaints were taking so much of her time that she had little time left to actually do the work the governor was elected to do. (In that sense, you might say that the complaint filers were pushing her out of the governor’s office already anyway.)

She understood that it was SHE who was the lightning rod here, not her policies. So she handed the reigns to her lieutenant governor, Parnell, who I understand is continuing Palin’s policies as governor but NOT getting slammed with ethics complaints. Alaska has a full-time governor again, and the ankle-biters can’t keep hitting her with ethics complaints about patches on clothing and crossing state lines and whatever frivolous goofball charges they can dream up.

    I like Juan Williams.

Unfortunately, he has grown more partisan ever since the Obama Election. It must grow tiresome to try to defend this nonsense on a daily basis.

Mr. Williams bizarrely tried to justify the disastrous Obama-Pelosi Stimulus, and recently tried to advocate for the Terrorists to be tried in NYC, ignoring the entire folly of providing Terrorists the rights of US Citizens.

His discourse here is simply beyond the pale. No one should be discussing a politicians private Family member in this manner.

Was Bill Clinton a good father, by engaging in a sexual affair with an employee – intern, who was basically as old as his daughter?

Of course not, but the children should be left out of it, unless the politician is convicted of some abuse, etc.

Regardless, the entire thing is regretful, as Mr. Williams knows better than this.

Point 1) She resigned as governer “For no reason”
She was being hounded by frivilous litigation that both crippled her ability to govern as well as financially, using courts to attack appointents is a typicl leftist trick.

    2) Death Panels (I supposed he is saying they weren’t there)
They changed the bill to take them out even though they said they weren’t there.

    3) The Republicans lost the NY-23 seat.
It was lost when they nominated Dede beause she would have voted with the liberals.

    4) She is self centered.

Sorry I don’t know what he means by that comment.

Do you want to see some lousy parenting? Google Ashley Biden, the coke snorting, cop harassing, shop lifting daughter of our vice-Plagiarist. Gee, the media was mum about Biden’s kooky progeny, a real chip off the old block.

One of the greater frustrations in life is to see how remarkably determined some are to never seek the truth, and instead stay foot on the master’s porch.

Juan’s a wasted life and worse yet, his discourse keeps countless others self-chained and enslaved to their master’s ideology.

gus, you are 100% on this.

The media and the fruitcake party go wall-to-wall on people like John Ashcroft or George Bush until half the Republicans don’t DARE defend them.

They have some people trained, I guess. We never hear about Biden refusing to forgive the driver who killed his first wife after the man drank himself into an early grave and ASKED Biden for forgiveness. I’m sure it’d be tough. But Biden spun during the campaign that the guy was drunk during the accident. Mr. Partial Birth Abortion is one smug Catholic.

The media has to pay for their attacks and this begins with sponsorship. We can all be the Jesse Jacksons of the conservative side-shake down, harass, and malign any company that advertises on these sleazy networks.

I frankly don’t understand how MSNBC, CNN, or ABC stay afloat.

Sarah Palin causes this amazing reaction in liberals and east coast Rino type Republicans. Their heads explode, they start screaming and ranting. She’s an ex govenor who they have written off has having no political future because she’s supposedly too dumb or for being a quitter. Yet her every utterance is covered and disected almost as much as the president himself. This unhealthy obsession they have with her makes them look like fools. If she is such a lightweight rube, then the way to handle her I would think would be to ignore her. But instead they can’t get enough. I wish we had other options for the presidential nomination, but because of the way Palin causes the other side to unravel and tremble and wet their pants, I say GO SARAH!!!

My name is Juan Williams , and Sarah invades my mind 24/7. I cannot get her image out of my mind. When I’m home alone, I no longer bow and pray to Allah, what I do now is have an alter to Sarah Palin, and I recite prayers toward her success. If the media found out, they would skewer me — however, to leak the inside scoop, the media are doing the same thing. They have forwent Allah’s 5 day prayer regimen and replaced it with Palin prayer salutes. In fact, I ‘m thinking of changing my name to Sarahjuan Williams, in honor of my Mistress and Savior.

How DARE she drop her SENATE duties that she said she would not forsake EVER, for Secretary of State where we have FINALLY gotten to see how she really operates (“Here’s a Reset button, Did I get it right? … No? Well, it’s my staff’s fault.”) And that Kansas Governor Selibius quitter and why oh why was there a special election in NY 23?
And that Governor Ricardson of New Mex… Oh! he didn’t quit did he? He ALMOST quit, then he backed off going to Washington to deal with … New Mexico State ethics investigations … which unfortunately for him aren’t based in frivolous political harrassment suits, but in questions of SERIOUS potential CRIMES. But even though a good chunk of his attention is now spent on his legal problems, not New Mexico state business, he’ll hold on to his governor paycheck, thankyouverymuch.

The democrats were either going to force Palin out of her position of Governor because she wouldn’t be able to take a leak without someone charging her for something or other or if she stayed in as Governor, the democrats were going to use it against her stating that she didn’t get anything accomplished while she was in office. Don’t even waste a nano-second on the “quitter’ construct. It took the combined talents of dozens of Democrat think tankers to come up with their “talking point” – days after Palin pulled the rug out from under them. Brainiacs at work.

The fact is, quitting as a strategy can absolutely be the right thing to do, depending on the circumstances. It’s a waste of resources and talent to stay with a screwy situation.
How many people are NOT praised for NOT quitting when they SHOULD have?

So, “quitter” is a slick sound-bite, nothing more. No more, because they do not want to talk about WHO was manufacturing ethics complaints against Governor Palin, and WHO was funding it, and HOW it leads to a certain assinine political party.

I remember, and have it on Tivo, that Kristol said “Sarah Palin wouldn’t have bowed to the emperor of Japan” as the panel returned from commercial break. I would have remembered an outburst like that.

Regarding death panels, Katrina Van Den Heuvel was on Morning Joe this morning continuing to misrepresent the death panel issue as a criticism of end-of-life counseling. This has become a common tactic of the left. Death panels are not about counseling, but about having a remote bureaucracy make decisions on who has priority for what types of treatments.

But Pelosi and the euthanisa/klan parenthood left is great for America, especially black America where for every two kids, one is aborted. As Nancy says, “It cuts cost”. That’s a great mom and grandmom. Real nice family party he has there. As we know, the commies always go after the family first.

He’s just mad Beck found an audience full of black people smarter than him.

Hey Juan, you see that flash of light in the corner of your eye? That’s your career dissipation light. It just went into high gear.

    Joanne & wanumba.. (thumbsup)

Sarah is no “quitter”.. Sarah didn’t end anything when she
resigned (for all the right reasons), she was just beginning!!

as imperfect as they are, God Bless Sarah Palin & Family.. Sarah is a fresh breath of air from those who dwell in the bog of stench that is DC, including her running mate..

C’mon – Juan has to occaisonaily show his gang colors to keep his cred with the Left while appearing on Fox.

What better target for that aggrandizement than the Saracuda?

    Yikes.

One could only imagine what Juan Williams would say were someone to assert that Hillary had been a “bad mother.”

    This will only help Palin.

Juan is right. She will be remembered for quitting her job as Governor. If she sticks her toe out there in 2012, the attack ads depicting her as a quitter will be right there to meet her.

Her book also seems to lack any depth and is nothing but a tit for tat score settling drama…not very Presidential.

Wow. One just really never knows, huh Harry?

Sarah Palin went on Oprah…the left is playing defense. I didn’t see the show. I do know that an appearance on Oprah can change millions of minds about someone…There are plenty of times that I changed my opinion about someone when I saw them on Oprah (when I watched her back in the day).

I saw this on TV. He’s a fool, blathering foolish opposition talking points. It was pathetic and it seriously diminishes his credibility.

I think he has lost it.

Ha ha! Juan hasn’t been right about reams of issues, and this is just repeating committee-concocted soundbite – hardly erudite analysis. He’s got that uncomfortable poise of having been given marching orders, and not a very good actor to carry it off very well.

This is a great committee quote:
“Her book also seems to lack any depth and is nothing but a tit for tat score settling drama…not very Presidential.”
    ……………………
Like “Dreams of My Father,” William Ayer’s stream of Marxist consciousness of what Obama probably might have been contemplating about a guy he didn’t know.
hoo hoo .. “not very presidential…” no kidding, from a QUITTER, a guy who QUIT the SENATE?

And WHERE oh WHERE is Quitter Governor Janet Napolitano? Arizona is almost bankrupt thanks to HER budgets and she scoots off to DC. Quitter Quitter Napolitano. Did SENATOR Joe BIDEN compete HIS Senate obligations? Guess he QUIT doing Senate business to devote his Senate salary and time running for first, POTUS then VPOTUS.
Is that FAIR to his constituents to pull a Senate salary while campaigning for VP slots?
PUUULLLEEEZE use the quitter ads in 2012! Palin chose NOT to use Alaska governorship as her insurance policy while being distracted with legal issues, unlike New Mexico Governor Richardson. New Mexicans taxpayers getting their money’s worth out of him these days?
Taxpayers always come second with Democrats, except when Dems need tax money. Every opportunity is welcome to remind as many people as possible of that.

So Sherry Collins the Stupid Troll weighs in on Palin’s book. Sherry, you must be special indeed to be one of the lucky few to have received Palin’s book before it has even hit the bookshelves. Wowee, you must be really important.

Harry Flashman, thanks for the link. Excellent!

    Btw Sherry, your opinion stinks.

I kept thinking when Juan Williams was speaking of Obama’s meteoric career — Community Organizer, State Senate, 143 days in Senate before announcing for President and we know how well that’s worked out.

So now Palin’s a bad mother who doesn’t know where her children are. Sounds like flop sweat from Obama’s supporters as Palin emerges as the real Rock Star while Obama’s star falls.

Tsk Tsk Juan, do you know where your children are every minute of the day?

Palin resigned as Governor to save the state money. Everyday she was forced to defend herself in frivolous lawsuits. She felt that these lawsuits were costing the state money and keeping her from doing her job.

One would think that William Jefferson would have quit Congress or at least given up his pension because of his problems. But like most people in public life Jefferson was in it for whatever he could get which at this point is 13 years in the Big House.

Don’t you ever believe anyone who whines “she can’t win” because we all know she CAN. YES SHE CAN. so stick it. This man is obviously a frightened whiner and a racist mysogynist. He’s in the tank for obammy bow wow just because he’s BLAAAAACK! He’s a closet marxist. There is a whole set up going on. A RINO here and a RINO there, everywhere a RINO. This is their game plan. Real marxist/commies posing as Republicans and Democrats. Why didn’t the woman interrupt him? Why’d she let him go on and on with his whiney scared self. Yes she can win. Yes she will win.
He needs to shut his pie hole and quit lying and crying. She has nothing to lose. She’s no quitter. She’s still in the game and they know it! Man that whiney racist was scared to death. He is desperate. He will make shot up if it helps him calm his nerves. If you know she really can’t win there is nothing to talk about…but you know she can win so fret and rant and make shot up.

Sherry Collins, you didn’t read the line in your Dem talking points that says, “Don’t use this one until Palin’s book actually comes out. You’ll sound like a complete idiot if you solemnly pronounce the book undeep and unserious when everyone knows you have seriously not read a word of it.”

“I do agree with juan that sarah quitting the gov job will be the thing people will remember.”

My wife is driven nuts by Sarah. Watched the Oprah interview of Palin yesterday with her. At the end, she said Sarah “did pretty well”.

She’s never mentioned the abdication and didn’t seem to notice when Oprah had a “hard time” understanding Palin’s reasoning.

I think the trolls have settled on this detraction as sane but telling yet it’s effete and forgotten.

I hope Fox keeps Juan on air as he is a perfect example of how affirmative action is really government mandated peter principle. He brings no logic or reasoning to his arguments and often appears out of his depth. But he gets a place at the table because…? Contrast Juan with Thomas Sowell and you can see what was lost with this government imposed handicap.
