Obama’s Attorney General today defended his decision to bring Khalid Sheikh Mohammad to New York for a circus trial.
Sen. Lindsey Graham had the best question of the day for the confused Attorney General-
“If we capture Osama Bin Laden today will we read him his rights?”

What a disaster.
This mistake by Obama may cost him his job come 2012.

Holder also confirmed today that Gitmo won’t be closed by next year.

“Holder also confirmed today that Gitmo won’t be closed by next year.”

But Bozo promised. He breaks my heart, he keeps lying to everyone.

The mission here is to get KSM on the stand, pretend to fight against his lawyers having testimony allowed about interrogation techniques used by the Bush administration. Then have that testimony dropped into the echo chambers of the media so the leftist loons can chatter ’see we were right’.

The same result could have been achieved by a military tribunal. It is absurd, with this administration and this Congress, to assert what a wonderfully fair system we have. All it proves is what a bunch of pussified slimy lying idiots we have put in charge when we most need people of character and courage.

    Obama game-plan:

    KSM gets off: BLAME BUSH!

    Exit question:

If Obama really was a secret muslim who wanted America to lose the GWOT, then would he do anything differently?

    NOPE.

There’s your answer to everything: dithering while Iranians rebelled; supporting Zelaya; dithering in Afghanistan; dithering vis a vis Iran’s nukes.

A crypto-muslim Obama is the simplest expalantion for everyhting he’s done to date.

    IOW: It passes Occam’s Razor.

Of course; the postmodern left has a similar/over-lapping agenda, so it might be that he’s not a Muslim, just a Black Liberationist “Christian” of the radical left who wants to teach AmeriKKKa a lesson.

Either way: he’s bad for the USA and the free World.

At this point, conservative citizens and bloggers need to start building mechanisms for organizing the re-taking of the House and the Senate back in 2010 and 2012.

I believe it will be easy to take back the Presidency….even Obama himself knows he will be a one-term President:
    http://hotairpundit.blogspot.com/2009/11/obama-hints-he-may-be-ok-with-being-one_18.html

We need each-and-every-one of the 41 dem seats taken back in the House, and the 17 Senate seats, that are up for re-election taken back.

Conservatives need to get as far ahead of the democrats as possible, because Nov 2010 is a long way off, and there will be a democrat push-back right before the elections. Obama and Rahm know this, and are counting on the GAP not getting too big.

Conservative strategy sites are popping up all over the web, on identifying conservative candidates, and tracking Congressional elections, but conservative bloggers need to also network together, and support each on some kind of common strategy. Of course everyone will not agree on everything, but the goal is pretty common:

Vote-out-the-democrats-and-elect-conservative republicans. Go for the conservative-independents when RINO’s are the only republican choices.

We can talk and talk and talk, but the future of our Country comes down to ONE-NIGHT-OF-ELECTION-RETURNS-IN-NOVEMBER

Every local election will still be local…but let conservatives come together, and work together to make things happen in 2010 and 2012….or we will be stuck with this problem of apathy forever.

…One IDEA on what I was saying earlier on strategy for conservative bloggers networking together for the 2010 elections:

The best and top conservative bloggers could have one-common-widget created and embedded into all of their blogs, that identify the best conservative candidates across America, and track the campaigns.

One IDEA for administering this in a secure way would be for every single one of the TRUSTED blog owners to be “Equal-Administrators” of editing and updating this common widget. For any changes to take place by one administrator, ALL of the administrators would HAVE to be emailed and sign off on changes.

…Just talking about ideas and solutions for networking conservative blogger sites together…so we don’t just talk about the problems.

Dont know if you all caught Rush today or Sweetness & Light but the obamao slip today of ” KSM is guilty and will be sentenced to death” is grounds for a mistrial before the tria lhas even begun. The defense can argue that the defendants could not receive a fair trial due to Presidential bias. President Nixon almost blew the Manson trial by saying almost the same thing about Manson but was saved him was that the Manson jury was sequestered when Nixon made the statement.
Obamao sure showed his Constitutional intelligence and lawyer as well as law instructor when he blurted that out.
Something else to think about if KSM gets a lawyer to argue this look for this kangaroo trial to be moved overseas to someplace like oh maybe Iran.

That was an excellent exchange. Graham did summarize superbly the grotesquely absurd consequences for the public to capture, quick. When people hear “criminal” or “act of war” they don’t know always that those words are actually triggers for certain responses legal and diplomatic that have serious and comprehensive repecussions thru the entire system and society.

Holder’s rhetoric included the “extraordinary events,” etc, with expected “extraordinary outcomes” … a what-these-guys-deserve .. which immediately evokes in most of the public’s minds: execution for mass murder … but by moving them from GITMO to New York State, doesn’t that mean no capital punishment? Does NY State allow for that?

Remember the hand-wringing of the Liberals when it was pointed out that John Mohammed Malvo, Beltway sniper terrorist, while he commited some murders in non-death-penalty Maryland, he DID commit others in death-penalty Virginia. Which is why he was executed… in Virginia. He would be still in life imprisonment had he done all his rotten deeds in Maryland. What a difference a mile makes.

Also, plenty of people are noticing this and it bears repeating, five terrorists now going to criminal court, so they will ALL have court-appointed legal teams at PUBLIC EXPENSE, because they’ll cry “destitute” even though they were well-funded to do their mass-murder plotting and organizing.

NYC will have unbelieveable security costs, the public gets hit again with outrageous bills, sucking our system dry for people who live and breathe to destroy it.

    “Thanks!” Grrr.
Cheaper by the HUNDREDS of $$$MILLIONS to keep them at GITMO.
Obama and Co. sure know how to spend other people’s money in the most odious manners possible: $$$ for lawyers for terrorists, because they have rights, and $$$ for abortions, because babies are burdens.

Conservatives better start getting even more organized and more networked together, or anger will not be enough for 2010.

We know we are smarter than the opposition, but these progressives are more organized than we are (Organizing for America). These crazy hippies have been planning this scenario since the 60’s.

It is one thing for conservatives to have dozens of conservative groups that have conferences every year….and it is another thing to TRANSFER the outcomes of these conservative conferences to the masses of conservative citizens.

Most conservative activists, take the knowledge that they know, and talk about it to as many friends and family as possible.

It would be nice if when you visited the best and top conservative blogs, that you could see the same, common widget to click on, that identified the best candidates and solutions that we best agree on. This way we are not pulling the tug-of-rope in twenty different directions…while expecting everyone to come to the same common-sense result on election day.

People will still have the freedom to think for themselves with this type of networking….it’s called freedom of speech and open debabe…it’s what these comments section are for that so many blog owners are gracious to provide.

KSM and the rest of the merry band of slime at Gitmo are all terrorists. They were all captured on a battlefield, under arms, with no identifying uniform or unit insignia.
Therefore, once we have milked them dry of all useful information, the Geneva Convention and the Law of Land Warfare says that we can then take them out and execute them WITH NO TRIAL.
And the GC is quite clear about that. We DO NOT have to give them any trial at all. Nor bring them in front of a “military commission” (a wholly made-up entity for the occasion).
Their confession is fine as it stands; and their misdeeds – and not being in uniform on a battlefield – warrant the death penalty.

All of this crap is nothing but a big show.

We shall live to regret it, rest assured.

I agree with Solaratov. This is nothing but a big show. We’ll have to wait and see what the objective is. It could be to place information into the public record damaging to Bush and other officials. The Euro-left courts could then use it to issue edicts limiting travel or threatening arrest, as the Italians have done. A trial could also suck up a lot of media coverage time, thereby taking attention off of other actions in the Obama administration and Congress. It’s already doing that.

As left and far-left (don’t know which side is which) lawyers argue over the humanity to be accorded terrorists, this trial will no doubt give new meaning to the phrase “travesty of justice”.

The absurdity of the left never ceases to amaze me. These savages are not citizens of the U. S., and therefore, are not covered as to the liberties and rights granted to citizens. For since the mas morum of the Roman Republic fifteen hundred years ago, the precedent of a “constitution” has always been a “contract” of sorts between a republic and its CITIZENS. Furthermore, these animals were not uniformed combatants representing a flag or nation; such being the case, the Geneva Conventions DO NOT apply to them. So as to what we did to three German insurgents who after being delivered on the New Jersey coast from Kriegsmarine submarines on their way with explosives to blow up bridges in New York in 1943, we have all the RIGHT to line these pigs up, shoot them, tie them to cinder-blocks, and shove them off of the deck of a frigate in the middle of the Atlantic (actually we did at least return the shot krauts to der Vaterland).

Now the liberals will have their show trial not of these vermin but of our government and evil Bushie Administration. The NYU lawyers will have plenty of exceptions and oversight to object, they will make a mockery of this process, and the result will surely be (despite this putz Attorney General’s implication) either endless mistrial or some time in the Club Fed reading jihadi material, converting minorities, eating halil food, and playing soccer all day on the rec field. Just look at the jihadis who were planning to leave bombs at some base in New York. One of them was sentenced to a mere SIX YEARS for his act of treason, because the leftist judge thought he was young and just needed some more “positive” influences. OUTRAGEOUS! He, too, should have been dragged outside, placed in front of a wall, and SHOT FOR TREASON! Likewise, this jihadi in Fort Hood who proselytized jihad during his lectures (but no one would do anything for fear of being charged with “discrimination”), he, too, will be allowed to make a mockery of our toothless justice (in this case military court martial) system. All so that the leftist press can talk about how some donkey-gefichten mussie got his hair wet, how his wrists were bruised from the tight handcuffs, or how he wasn’t “read his rights” after he beheaded some infidel on Youtube.

No, but it is a concise soundbite for getting an ignorant public educated fast as to the scope of the problems this creates, so it’s appreciated.

Just because Graham said something useful for a change doesn’t mean agreement with the point he was making implies there’s any sort of comprehensive endorsement of the guy.

There’ve been a lot of comments about Graham, another subject for another day, which is frankly a distraction from the issue of focussing on the Obama Administration’s actions and intentions regarding the GITMO detainees… and the Senate ObamaCare Health Care travesty.

Besides the millions of arguments against trying terrorists captured on foreign soil in civilian courts when every precedent was use of military tribunals, consider that every juror will instantly be subject to a fatwa against not only the juror but every member of his/her family…for the REST OF THEIR LIVES. Talk about jury intimidation….

    Ann Coulter stated it best:

“Members of Congress have it in their power to put an end to this lunacy right now. If they don’t, they are as complicit in Mohammed’s civilian trial as the president. Article I, Section 8, and Article III, Section 1 of the Constitution give Congress the power to establish the jurisdiction of the lower federal courts and to create exceptions to that jurisdiction.

Congress could pass a statute limiting federal court jurisdiction to individuals not subject to trial before a military tribunal. Any legislator who votes “nay” on a such a bill will be voting to give foreign terrorists the same legal rights as U.S. citizens — and more legal rights than members of the U.S. military are entitled to.”

    Obama Bans The Word “Terrorism”

no no no ‘enemy combatants’ & G-D no ‘war on terrorism’!!

not to mention Obama’s UN Resolution to Stifle Free Speech on Islam

[On October 1, 2009, the Obama administration in conjunction with the Egyptian government, introduced an anti-free speech measure to the United Nation’s Human Rights Council (HRC). It was adopted the next day without a vote.

    [..]

Little evidence suggests that Americans on either side of the aisle contemplated the US entering the ring and supporting the opposition’s anti-freedom measures. Yet now, the current administration has done worse: it’s leading the charge.]

so what will KSM be presented as, what will he be transformed
into, i mean what’s left, a hero of O bin Ladens Islamist cult??

15 Year Old Egyptian Convert to Christianity Sends Plea to Obama

[Cairo (AINA) -- 15-year-old Egyptian girl Dina el-Gowhary, who converted from Islam to Christianity, has sent a plea to President Obama, complaining of mistreatment by the Egyptian Government and asking for his mediation. "Mr President Obama," she writes, "we are a minority in Egypt. We are treated very badly. You said that the Muslim minority in America are treated very well, so why are we not treated here likewise? We are imprisoned in our own home because Muslim clerics called for the murder of my father, and now the Government has set for us a new prison, we are imprisoned in our own country."]

God bless her & good luck.. Obama will waffle & dither
to his hearts delight, iow: to hell with her & her plight..

albeit i for one won’t be holding my breath..

now is your chance MSM, prove you still have a heart a
tad larger than the Grinch’s was pre Christmas morning..
