Liz Cheney spoke out on Obama’s disastrous policies this morning on FOX News Sunday.
Cheney said that no matter who led the party in 2012, they would have to undo the disastrous Obama national security, economic, and health care policies.

You’ve just got to love her raw honesty.
And, she’s right.
Whoever leads the GOP, they’ll have their hands full in 2013.
obama debt

Liz better watch it. She’s just begging to be Palinized.

More… Victor Davis Hanson has more on the Obama disaster.

I am embarassed as to what my disgusting party has become. A bunch of radical, america-hating fools.

I am a democrat, mainly b/c I am pro-choice, but I am very conservative when it come to fiscal policies, national security policies, preservatation of indiv. rights, adherehace to the US consitution, free market principles, NO socialized death-care.

I realised just how conservative I really was last year. I plan on voting and campaigning for every conservative I can, not necessaryly repub, BUT conservative. And guess what Obot trolls? you have pro-choice lifelong democrats men like me who will SUPPORT SARAH PALIN ALL THE WAY!!!

And after hating Cheney and Bush for so long, at least I never felt they hated America, and did everything they could to keep us safe, and trust me, I was one of those people who walked in protests agn these 2 men, now I would want them back in a heartbeat compared to the monstrosity that in the WH now!

seriosuly?!?!? giving terrorists like KSM the same rights as Americans?? have these people lost what was left of their minds???

Completely agree that whoever leads in 2012 will have their hands full. I just hope that by then the damage is undoable. At this rate I’m really beginning to wonder if it will be.

I pray that by 2012, we are still able to undo the damage that is already very evident for all to see. The world was said to hate this country with people like GWB at the controls, so much better now that they are having full belly laughs?

I would much prefer hatred to laughter any day.

Look, why don’t we somewhat follow Pres. Bush’s lead. Tell the American people obama and the dems gave it the old college try……apologize, demean the USA, give the enemy whatever it wants, etc.,……it didn’t work. Now that we have that out of our system, put it all behind us and start fresh. President Bush’s policy is the last part of that, put it behind us. My addition would be……never forget what the dems did and do not repeat.

    a-soon-to-be-former-democrat,

Now, it makes me wonder what else have the MSM lied about all these years.

Plenty and all at the behest of the Democratic party and the radical left. You have been played for a fool, hun. Don’t feel bad, there are many just like you. I once was but I had my “Road to Damascus” moment in January, 2001. Now, like the old song goes, “I won’t get fooled again” by the Democratic party or their minions.

Unfortunately for all of us the damage they have done over the last 40 years and the damage they are doing now will be almost impossible to undo. They have succeeded in tearing apart the country in more ways then one and I fear that in the end the only way to fix it will not be with “politics”. It is now too far gone and the blood is in the water.

I hope I am wrong but we shall see.

The storm is coming and you best prepare yourself for it.

    Dear Soon-to-be-former democrat:

To hear the stories of people such as you gives me hope for the future of this country. While I would have been more grateful if you had paid attention to who this man Obama was BEFORE you voted him into office, it still counts that at least you know now.

And you’re not alone in missing true Americans such as George Bush and Dick Cheney. Millions of us miss the feeling of knowing that our country is being protected by those who love her and respect her traditions of freedom and strength. Together we can boot these traitors to America out of office—oh my, YES WE CAN!!!

Is killing 800,000 babies per year in the U.S. a “moderate” position?
Is taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood aka Death Hut to the tune of $350 million per year a “moderate” view?

um… I actaully oppose late term and partial birth abortion. I remember a time when Planned Parenthood used to be more for preventing pregancies rather than ending pregancies. They have gotten too extreme now and so can’t support them.

As for life at conception, many people belive this, I am not one of them. But that does not mean that after there is a heartbeat, etc, that that life can now be gotten rid of, it is a person at that point, and should be bought into the world and given to adoption, if the family cannot care for him/her.

So, yes, I am pro-choice, but I am not pro-abortion. I can make that distinction b/c I don’t see life beginning at conception. That being said, I also recognize that millions do, and so I oppose using taxpayer funded abortions.
So, yes, I consider myself a moderate, not all pro-choice people go ard advocating people to have abortions. But I don’t want abortion absolised, however rare (and not for advanced pregancies), that decision should be up to the family. This why most independents consider themselves independent (socially moderate & conservative with respect to fiscal/national security/indiv rights issues), we are not extremists on either side, left or right.

I am listening to the Fox Sunday program right now on the radio. Liz Cheney is speaking. I saw her speak a couple of months ago in Nashville. I like her, I like what she says, I like her experience in the State Department.

I would love to see her run in 2012. I don’t think she is worried at all, nor should she be, of being Palinized. I think she would urge her detractors to bring it on. She is tough. She has a steel backbone.

We don’t need a politician as our next president. We need someone who is not afraid to tell us the truth and use common sense. Enough of these Chicago tactics. Enough of earmarks. Enough of the game.

We are sick of it. We need someone with a clear understanding OF THE DANGER WE ARE FACING AND SOMEONE WHO WILL PROTECT US, NOT ROLL OVER. Or give our country away.

sorry, I meant to add, independents are socially moderate but pretty conservative when it comes to fiscal responsibility, national security issues, indiv. rights, adhereance to the US constitution. That’s why Bob mcdonneld and cristie were able to win, they left the social issues out, where people disagree a lot, and focused on jobs/national securty issues/ stron fiscal policies… etc where most people are conservative or pretty right of center.

We, as a country, have compromised to the left most of our principles. More than half the country now is against abortion on demand.

When we show just what certain programs really do to the fabric of this country, the people reject it.

I say thats why we need someone that can articulate life, life both in the womb and out. Sarah Palin is just that person, and Liz Cheney is also. Where are the men in this equation, are there any that are not afraid to stand up? It took months of tea parties and 2.1 million in Washington to wake up the GOP, but even then they were half hearted until NY. 23, Virginia, and New Jersey. Listen to Steele now, my goodness the change. Don’t get me wrong I welcome it, but why did it take so long. We can’t be fooled again,if we are shame on us.

I think that a match made in heaven would be a Liz Cheney/Sarah Palin or Sarah Palin/Liz Cheney ticket. Unfortunately that would be unwinnable. They each have five children and there will be an uproar over that, not to mention that it would be two women.

It is uplifting though that there are now strong women in the conservative movement that feel they do not have to apologize for everything. Michelle Bachmann is also one of those women.

Also, as much as many disliked Hillary Clinton, I am sure that in retrospect they are kicking themselves and are sorry that they did not work hard to get her elected.

The Grahams and McCains of the GOP are more interested in being seen and being relevant in “the club”. Good post Jainphx. For a long time, years in fact, the GOP has allowed itself to be dragged left. Our institutions of learning, primary thru Grad school have been infiltrated by LEFTIST FILTH. Our media specifically television from SITCOMS to Dan Blather and Katie Corrupt have spewed leftist nonsense.
Try this. Try listening to a crappy crappy song by Britney Speared, listen to it in the car and in the elevator, on your I-POD. Pretty soon the tune is in your brain. It’s called indoctrination.
America has found it easier to go along to get along and so has the Republican Party. McCain spouts on and on about his respect for Obama.
Why? To appear nice and decent. Did Obama treat him likewise? NOPE. So McCain becomes the only alternative to Obama. Obama spends nearly a billion dollars, the media fawns and drools and the only thing that brought out Conservatives was Sarah Palin.
Naturally the media and LIBTARDS had to slime Palin, because that’s what LIBTARDS do to their opponents. The media went right along with it, from Katie Corrupt to Saturday Night Irrelevant Live. The song is played again and again and again, and the weak kneed RINO’s start hearing the song in their head.
    Palin is weak,

So right, so very right. This has been my argument from the start.

Weak kneed has been our down fall for years, too many want to go along to get along. STAND UP ON YOUR FEET if you are tired of the old ways that lead to destruction. We need Sarah’s ideas and backbone, we need men and women of courage to shout and scream the truth out loud and often. Those that are weak kneed get behind us that will fight, its up to you, we either take back the country, or we perish

Does anyone here want to give our sovereignty to the thugs at the UN, or allow the Obama’s to become the owners of all industry in this country. Keep listening to the weak kneed and this is where we will be. I say no, where are you.

What is truly frightening is that the LEFT wil fight hard, but never fight for Country, honor, or decency, they fight for POWER and the fight as dirty as they can. They lie, the decieve, they distort. Obama’s own words, his own history (the parts we can confirm) clearly show the man to be without character and clearly show he is an angry Marxist agitator, but the MSM and the Democrat party denied it all.
Our side allows itself to be sh!t on.
For the love of God, compare Sarah Palins moral character to Obama’s. It’s not even a contest. But those who WANT FROM AMERICA rather that WANT FOR AMERICA will overlook a Marxist clown as long as their cause is funded and they get a check.
We need to call it out. And not back down.

#1, I’m a conservative libertarian who LOVES Hillbuzz. Those guys are great, and you’re right – they had BO nailed. We agree on so much; don’t let #15 dissuade you. I’m pro-life, but don’t believe gov’t has a role in the issue. The matter of abortion has more to do w/prevention, education about abstinence and abortion alternatives, the quality of parental guidance and support the woman received (witness Bristol Palin), and social stigma than fighting the procedure. To your point, prevention is the answer; not coerced maternity or illegalizing abortions.

#29, again, I completely agree w/you. McDonnell, in particular, was able to move past social issues – despite having a clear conservative social orientation – and won based on sound economics, job growth and national security. Frankly, I believe that if we can strengthen these areas, the social fabric of the country will strengthen, as well.

SenatorSeven, I’m sorry but I’d like to know what about post #15 you disagree with.
You seem to be quite good at running your mouth, let’s see if there is an intelligence behind your blather.
Bring the goods or shut the fuq up.
Are you suggesting that the Government not be involved when Tiller the Kansas abortion doctor was sticking scissors in full term infants heads?
I suggest you do yourself a favor. Read what I posted in #15 and refute it, if you have the balls.
You show your RINO sensabilities when you say.
    “I’m pro-life…….BUT.”

Ok – We need someone to undo Obama’s mess that he created.

Liz Cheney is terriffic – she would make a great Secretary of State or….President!

Now, it makes me wonder what else have the MSM lied about all these years.

    A small sample:

Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were not communist spies. [They were.]

The US lost the Tet Offensive in Viet Nam [we won].

The US brought 9/11 on itself [we didn't].

Illegal aliens are only doing jobs no native American wants [wrong].

There is such a thing as man-made global warming [there isn't].

Che Guevara was a great guy [he wasn't].

Barack Obama is a centrist [he isn't].

George Bush is a moron [he isn't].

There was nothing wrong with the New York Times spilling state secrets about terrorist surveillance [there was].

I could go on, but it would take a lifetime. Virtually every thing out of their mouths is a lie. Up is down. Black is white.

    thank you..

but if you ask me (or any other patriotic American), the following
must be Obama’s favorite bedtime stories, if not, in the top 5..

The Children’s Story by James Clavell

    The Children’s Story Part 1

    The Children’s Story Part 2

    The Children’s Story Part 3

Liz Chaney is fantastic. I love the fact that we have such incredible women in the GOP. Perhaps these woman like Chaney, Plain, Bachman and others are the real future of the GOP. They seem to be leading the party back to the middle right unlike Graham and other big government RINOs. Interesting how the GOP establishment still isn’t getting it. The Tea Parties should have been their wake up and yet we still have to defend and explain the conservative movement to the Big Tent, Big Government useless Republicans. Change is coming in the government and in the GOP party.

“We are nine months into Obama’s first term. He inherited two disastrous and failed wars, a recession steeper than any since the Great Depression, countless prisoners of war imprisoned in a gulag in Cuba and largely unprosecutable because of torture illegally authorized by the former president, $5 trillion of debt accrued in eight years by Dick “deficits don’t matter” Cheney, alliances frayed to near-collapse, and a total failure in eight years to do anything about climate change.”

    Anything there factually incorrect?

Small “c” chris with the small “b” brain quotes Andrew Sullivan.

Andrew Sullivan, who has one year left on his US visa and hopes that BO will help him with his citizenship status. Andrew Sullivan, who continues to have unprotected sex even though he has AIDS. He advertises for “bareback” partners. What a fine, upstanding person.

I’m not suprised that chris quotes Andrew Sullivan. Both are obviously deep, clear thinkers.
