Mark Levin and Jon Voight will join Rep. Michele Bachmann on the Capital Steps on Thursday November 5th to rally against the $1.2 trillion Pelosi health care disaster.
Bachmann wants Americans to join her at the “Super Bowl of Freedom” in the nation’s capital:

Freedom’s Lighthouse has more on Bachmann’s appearance on FOX and Friends this morning.

Bachmann believes this is one of the last chances to stop Pelosi’s push to bring Socialized Medicine to America:

“The American people need to stand up again and make sure that Congress hears them this time. Speaker Pelosi is putting her bill on fast track to a vote – and it remains to be seen if the House will even get a chance to vote on the commonsense Republican alternatives. The people need to make a House Call on Washington this week and tell their Representatives to vote no to a government take-over of one-fifth of our economy. This is gangster government at its worst.”

Medical Tourism – Available Soon for Americans Should ObamaCare Pass!

    Health Care Horrors

One of the fastest growing businesses in India is medical tourism. It’s exactly what it sounds like: Patients who are unable to get medical care travel to India, at their own expense, to buy what they’re denied in their home countries.

Why don’t we have a Michelle Bachman in Missouri?! Watched her on C-span go up against the thugs on the finance committee and have been very impressed. So what should you do if you can’t get to Washington? My leftist representatives (McCaskill et al) are NOT listening.

Good news: the poll workers said it was busy today -we are voting on one state rep position vacated by Dem. Jeff Smith who will be off to clinker, and 1 sales tax bump (no) and smoking ban (no). Don’t like smoking but don’t like gov in these issues more.

    I give you… Pat Condell.

First of, he’s an atheist and he’s homosexual, so some of you folks might not agree with everything he says about religion in general. But his latest video really nailed it:

    http://godlesscomedy.blip.tv/

    Watch “Wake up, America”.

An so I say: WAKE UP AMERICA!

The democrats are going to ram this insidious bill down our throats. We the people, will have to dismantle this takeover of our Country after we regain Congress and the Presidency in 2010 and 2012. If we have to abolish ALL one-hundred-and-eleven new agencies they are creating, one by one. WE WILL and they know it. These democrat traitors don’t care if they are not re-elected no more than Obama is worried about being re-elected. They are sacrificing their re-elections in a POWER GRAB, to get as much control over our lives as they can. The democrats are going to pay the piper when the American people face them down soon.

It’s time to build an ark.

[But first: The point was made on Beck’s show that once a health care plan passes in Congress — any health care plan will do — that the tinkering and folding and spindling and mutilating will inevitably follow. That’s why there WILL be a health care bill of some kind even if it changes nothing. Once the legislation is in place the games will begin.

The same premise holds true for “net neutrality,” that Trojan Horse of a plan to keep the internet a level playing field. Neil Stevens at RedState.com writes that net neutrality is really the sheep’s clothing for internet regulation.

    [..]

One year after winning the election, Mr. Obama has seen his pledge to transcend partisanship in Washington give way to the hardened realities of office. A campaign for the history books, filled with a sky-high sense of possibility for Mr. Obama not just among legions of loyal Democrats but also among converts from outside the party, has descended to an unfamiliar plateau for a president whose political rise was as rapid as it was charmed.

Interviews with voters across Iowa offer a window into how the president’s standing has leveled off, especially among the independents and Republicans who contributed not just to his margin of victory in the caucuses here but also to the optimism among his supporters that his election would be a break from standard-issue politics.]

What’s the deal with the “MoxNews; unfair and biased” at the end of that clip (and in the upper right corner)?

Looks like a bit of youtube hackery.

    It should be removed.

My Rep. from Mo. is JoAnne Emerson; and she does a good job.
When you call, someone is there to listen to what you have to say; and they answer emails and letters. And, her office sometimes calls to ask for an opinion on a matter.
She’s a decent Conservative and she has voted against the things we hate.
So far, I’m still backing her.
