ACORN is the largest radical Leftist group in America today.
This radical group worked closely with the Obama campaign during the election. But, the community organizing group was not open about this. The photo below was scrubbed from the ACORN website before the election:

One of Barack Obama’s first big “community organizer” jobs involved ACORN in 1992. He has been working along side ACORN since before he became an elected official. Obama also trained ACORN employees. He represented ACORN in court. Obama worked with and protested with ACORN. His campaign donated $800,000 to ACORN in 2008 for voter registration efforts.
And, ACORN even canvassed for Obama last year.

But now that ACORN is under investigation in Louisiana the White House is trying to distance itself further from the corrupt organization according to Rep. Steve King (R-IA).
The Hill reported, via FOX Nation:

Newly appointed White House counsel Bob Bauer is “perfectly positioned to be tasked with erasing the tracks between Obama and ACORN,” one Republican lawmaker charged Friday.

The lawyer’s hiring, announced this morning shortly after Greg Craig officially resigned the post, was also an attempt by the White House to deflect any fallout that may arise from an ACORN investigation currently underway in Louisiana, Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) added in a statement.

“Bob Bauer has a public record of defending Barack Obama’s relationship with ACORN, the congressman told supporters. “Bauer’s hiring appears to be a tactical maneuver to strategically defend the White House exactly one week after Louisiana Attorney General Buddy Caldwell raided ACORN’s national headquarters in New Orleans and seized paper records and computer hard drives that may lead to the White House.”

However, the link between Bauer, the president and ACORN’s Louisiana office is long, winding and confusing, at best.

According to King, Bauer — who worked for Obama during his 2008 presidential campaign — was they key player in a politicized fight between the campaign and President George W. Bush’s Justice Department over an investigation of suspected ACORN voting fraud.

Where are Bernstein and Woodward when you really need them?

Of course, they have been replaced by intrepid bloggers. We need genuinely, unIMPEACHable evidence…..

    OK, let’s try again:
Interesting how the Obama Administration is following in the footsteps of Russian tyrants from years gone by – revising history and facts so that people will not know the truth and be able to see the links of corruption.

I wonder if he’s also going to have an internal police force that knocks on peoples doors in the middle of the night? Socialists and their systems of governance never change: control over the masses is their final goal.

you’d think there would be atleast a little interest in the bama community when the hero we’ve been waiting for finds it necessary to
cover his tracks to past associations. a lot of scrubbin’ goin ‘ on in that part of the political
spectrum. when you point this out and all you get are vacant stares and some babble about Bush.

The Obama administration is about as transparent as a brick wall. We must stop Obama from covering up his connections with ACORN. We must keep the heat on…

Bauer was a partner at Perkins law firm whose main office is in Seattle. I know there are conservatives how are partners at that firm. I know some of them. However, Bauer was probably one of its most liberal partners.

I came close to working for the firm. It is a very good firm. It represents Boeing which is highly unionized.

I don’t think even Bauer would break laws just to protect B.O. He might bend the rules, but I don’t think he would break laws.

And having him join B.O.’s administration is probably the reason Anita Dunn left since she is married to Bauer. I would imagine they didn’t want a married couple working at the WH. Not sure if that is the reason, but I wouldn’t be surprised.

The firm is Perkins Coie. Bauer is the attorney that has been representing Obama in the birth certificate lawsuits and has been blocking the release of his various records. This just keeps getting more and more slimy.

Obama is circling the wagons. Republicans need to keep digging and take down Obama’s foundation…..the Chicago machine and Acorn!

There will be quite a story when the truth about Obama is finally exposed.

And now you understand why they are so desperate to shut down talk radio, Fox News and control the internet.

They can not instate their Ministry of Truth style memory holes and revisionist history without total control of the flow of information.

This is the same Bob Bauer who is working to keep his long form version bc from being released. This guy knows Obama is not eligibile also.

In late 10/08 and the day before early voting began in OH, I received a call from the O campaign. They asked me to take a trip to OH on a bus. I should be prepared to be gone for about two days. Since I have been a registered Republican for 20 years, I asked how they got my name…..ACORN! Yes, that’s right! No one can tell me that the 2008 election was not stolen by this group of rabble!

About a month ago I read that congress had voted to defund ACORN. Now I read that congressional funding is to resume in December. Did congress defund the skunks for one month only?
