ACORN is the largest radical leftist group in America today.
This radical group worked closely with the Obama camp during the election. But, the community organizing group was not open about this. The photo below was scrubbed from the ACORN website before the election:

One of Barack Obama’s first big “community organizer” jobs involved ACORN in 1992. He has been working along side ACORN since before he became an elected official. Obama also trained ACORN employees. He represented ACORN in court. Obama worked with and protested with ACORN. His campaign donated $800,000 to ACORN in 2008 for voter registration efforts.
And, ACORN even canvassed for Obama last year.

Earlier this year Obama promoted a top ACORN operative, Patrick Gaspard, who’s oranization was fined $775,000 for election violations, to a top post in the White House. Gespard is helping shape domestic policy.

Obama’s ACORN group was banned from receiving federal funds in September after the group was busted on tape promoting the child sex slave trade.

But, today it was announced that ACORN will be paid with taxpayer funds after all.
The New York Times reported:

The Justice Department has concluded that the Obama administration can lawfully pay the community group Acorn for services provided under contracts signed before Congress banned the government from providing funds to the group.

The department’s conclusion, laid out in a recently disclosed five-page memorandum from David Barron, the acting assistant attorney general for the Office of Legal Counsel, adds a new wrinkle to a sharp political debate over the antipoverty group’s activities and recent efforts to distance the government from it.

Since 1994, Acorn, which stands for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, has received about $53 million in federal aid, much of it grants from the Department of Housing and Urban Development for providing various services related to affordable housing.

But the group has become a prime target for conservative critics, and on Oct. 1, President Obama signed into law a spending bill that included a provision that said no taxpayer funds — including funds authorized by previous legislation — could be “provided to” the group or its affiliates.

Obviously, considering Obama’s history with ACORN, this latest news surprises no one.

    When will the evil subside?!
How long will this nation continue to sit on its hands and do nothing?
    Pray, children.

When will the Republican and Conservative Representatives get off their asses and hammer this thing till it is positively dead?
Good God – we have Acorn, Climate Change scandals, stimulus money lost, Afghanistan in shambles, record unemployment, record deficits, record bank failures – just those alone should be MORE than enough to keep the Republicans on the offensive.

The offensive is against Palin from the squishes. The only one with a voice, and she’s the problem. All this is making me sick.

“We are fast approaching the stage of the ultimate inversion: the stage where the government is free to do anything it pleases, while the citizens may act only by permission; which is the stage of the darkest periods of human history, the stage of rule by brute force. ”

Someone help me out…can taxpayers sue the government, or sue ACORN? Do we have any say in what our tax dollars fund? Or is that the job of our “representatives”?

Well sure, it also approves of Obama having his own lobbying and propaganda group.

    So who will stop it?

The press needs to ask Obama if it is his position to support child prostitution.

This administration has gone completely insane in their lust for power.

Eric Holder needs to be removed for cause TODAY!

We should have a discussion about what precedes “Locked loaded safety off” or in the jarhead lexicon – “cocked, locked and ready to rock.”

    It’s call the “LOD.”

I wonder if, indeed, we have yet arrived at the “Line of Departure.”

    I don’t think so.

Let me be clear, I am going to take the stinking Taxpayer’s money and give it to ACORN. Eric Holder said it was perfectly legal. In your face! Taxpayers suck!

I must say that this is a very advantageous time to announce the fleecing of the Taxpayer – during Thanksgiving – when they least suspect it. I love abusing my position in the White House. Ha, screw you!

Since I am dithering on funding the Troops, I think it’s time to celebrate a Victory – a victory over the stupid Taxpayers! I Must look busy. Good day. Ha Ha!

Yeah. America’s new Rule of Law – straight from the horse’s mouth at Justice where Bad is Good and Good is Bad. It’s perrenial Backwards’ Day over at Holder’s unique Dept. of Justice where everyone apparently lives & operates in a new, yet-to-be-defined reality! Justice must be getting instruction from the MSM because they, too, have been operating in some kind of alternative, irrational reality! Do none of these individuals working at Justice or at the MSM have respect for their professions or pride in themselves? Guess Not!

Justice is the place where whatever was at one time illegal, is now acceptable and legal. Conversely, whatever was legal in the past, is now considered illegal and is routinely prosecuted by Justice. The shoe just doesn’t fit, folks, but you can check it out for yourselves by substituting your own words in the new, backwards framework!

Now, that’s JUSTICE in America, Right?
