Uh-huh
pigs fly
Obama assured Asia today that US borrowing would not spiral out of control…
Just as soon as he passes his nationalized health care plan that will raise the costs of health care by $289 billion over the next 10 years.
obama debt
Isn’t it a bit late for that?
Obama tripled the US deficit his first year in office. His October budget deficit was greater than Bush’s 2007 budget deficit for the entire year.

The Telegraph reported:

President Barack Obama has promised Asia’s creditor nations that Washington will not let US borrowing spiral out of control, vowing a major drive to cut the budget deficit and restore global confidence in the US dollar.

As the economy recovers, I intend to take serious steps to reduce America’s long-term deficit,” he told the Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation (APEC) forum in Singapore. “Debt-driven growth cannot fuel America’s long-term prosperity.”

The assurance comes amid growing doubts across the world over the wisdom of White House spending plans. The US Congressional Budget Office expects the deficit to remain around $1.8 trillion (£600bn) as far ahead as 2019 under current plans, pushing the US national debt into the danger zone.

    It’s all Bush’s Fault!

Devaluing the dollar by trashing private healthcare

The main driver of the collapse of the dollar is the liquidity provided by the Fed at nominal interest rates, which invites a worldwide army of investors to short the dollar and buy foreign stocks and bonds. If the dollar continues to fall in value, these investors are effectively paid to borrow as long as their other investments are higher in dollar terms when they unwind the trade. Professor Roubini has a good article on this subject which predicts that current policy is creating an international stock market bubble which will be followed by a collapse.

He thinks he can say just anything, and people will believe it, just because he said it.

The American people aren’t that stupid, and neither are the Asians.

His “serious steps” are likely to include stopping all aid to Israel, pulling out of Afghanistan and Iraq, effectively abolishing the military, and doubling taxes.

You have to ask yourself “What else did he promise them”. Obama needs beaucoup cash to fund his gigantic boondoggles and he has shown himself to be no fan of American dominance.
Is he going to give them more of America’s secret military technology as a bribe….?
It’s not like it hasn’t happened before.
Look who his Secretary of State is…..cough.

We’re are being sold down the creek.

This is a simple one on how to reduce the deficit… raise everyones taxes…i can hear it now..we are in a serious crisis left my bush, ive made promises to the chi-coms that we will reduce our deficits and bc we dont want to end up a great depression, i hate to do this but i must raise everyones taxes and by doing so..in only 3 years, we wil be able to bring the deficit to zero and then at that time i will lower your taxes to where they are now.. we all must take place in shared sacrifice

    Mike W,

You bring up something that no one but a few seem to be paying attention to which is the Chinese colonization of Africa. People should be paying attention to that.

If you have not seen this unemployment map county by county from Jan 2007 to Sept. 2009 in the US it is well worth the view. Please note that real unemployment began when the dems took control of our purse strings in Congress.

Nahanni, yesterday a Commie posted a link to a site of how communism will end racism. The commie is totally ignorant as to the racism practiced by the Chinese towards the Africans. The commie was also ignorant of how Castro uses racism to keep his citizens suspicious of others just by their skin tone.
China is working hard to make Africa a satellite.

It’s a little late for his comment! Debt is out of control as are his policies. When is he coming back from his American apology tour so that he can get back to his main agenda – the Blame Bush doctrine?

[The remaining option of hyper-inflating the currency, while having the effect of paying off the debt with near-worthless dollars, would destroy the United States as we know it and relegate us to "banana republic" status: unable to compete in the world economy and at the mercy of those who wish us harm.

The alarm has been sounded -- not by those in the private sector, but by a major government agency. The electorate must become increasingly engaged and understand that the America has little time. We can continue to live in peace and prosperity and survive as a nation, but only if the United States is a dominant moral and economic force able to underwrite being the unrivaled military power in the world.]

good luck with that, as the plan to
    collapse US is working beautifully..

welcome to the new world order..

    just follow yellow brick road..

His “serious steps” –in their entirety– will consist of the following:

    One twenty-minute speech on TV.

It’s obvious to The Won that some mellifluous speechifying (including a good bit of his patented “some have said… but I say” constructions) with a suitably earnest expression (he will have practiced a bit) will turn aside the doubts of all those silly naysayers in flyover country who do not yet grasp the magnificence and wonderfulness of his Great Plan To Fundamentally Transform America.

Thus the Great Diminishment of America begins.
