It’s been more than 90 days since his top general requested reinforcements…
But Barack Obama said he would announce his decision on Afghanistan over the next several weeks.
He also took another swipe at Bush.

Obama:

“I will announce my decision over the next several weeks. I’m confident that at the end of this process I will be able to present to the American people in very clear terms what exactly is at stake, what we intend to do, how we are going to succeed, how much it’s going to cost, how long it is going to take. I think that is what is owed the American people because frankly over the last several years that is not what they’ve got.

In reality President Bush was very clear about his goals in Iraq.
He even explained the troop surge in a televised speech to the American public.

President Obama also said he was furious over the leaks that he was dithering and waffling on making his decision.
It’s not like it was a big secret.

To all veterans, those currently serving and any who will do so after……

We are deeply ashamed at your Commander-In-Chief’s support and treatment afforded you and will do everything within our power according to The Constitution and Bill Of Rights to set thing straight as fast as possible.

    Sincerely,

    The Real America.

Oh, BullS##T! Blaming Bush for HIS voting present. He’s waiting for the public to demand withdrawal because of HIS incompetency. The press will not play it that way and he will get away with surrendering to the Taliban.

    He is an enemy.

Once his 15 minutes are up and we get finished fixing what he and his comrades destroyed…his name will be used only in contempt and will be synomous with failure and stupidity …it’s already started.

My daughters were fighting and the youngest told the oldest…’You’re Obama!!’ Fight over. The ultimate put down was played.

Kenny Solomon I have 2 words for any veteran or active duty member of our armed services or anyone who has ever swore an oath to serve and protect, Oath Keepers.
And speaking of Oath Keepers the Israeli Army has its own brand of Oath Keepers who are protesting tearing down the settlements.

His lack of decision IS a decision – to dither, to waffle, to do nothing. Procrastination/perfectionism is not a trait of a leader.

Mr. President, blaming President Bush is a cop out. What was your job as a US Senator? Oh, foreign relations, specifically Chairman of the European Foreign Relations which does have direct contact with NATO who just so happens to be running Afghanistan. What did you do as a Senator while Chairman of that board? Cue the crickets chirping. Wasn’t Afghanistan a focus of your 2008 campaign? If so, shouldn’t you have already generated a plan to execute upon your swearing in as POTUS? If not, does that mean everything you have said about Afghanistan in 2008 was just campaign jingles?

Contrast the “Tourist in Chief”, aka chief chef at the “Waffle House”, with this Medal of Honor winner and veteran of WW II, Korea, and the Vietnam war:

Medal of Honor recipient Lewis Millett of Idyllwild died Saturday morning at Jerry L. Pettis Memorial VA Medical Center in Loma Linda. He was 88. “He had a brief hospitalization. He came in the day before Veterans Day,” said hospital spokeswoman Annie Tuttle. Col. Millett had various health problems over the last three to five years, including diabetes, said Mike Goldware, a family spokesman. Medal of Honor recipient Lewis Millett, 88, of Idyllwild, died Saturday after a brief hospitalization at Jerry L. Pettis Memorial VA Medical Center in Loma Linda. A cause of death was not announced. Funeral arrangements were pending. Col. Millett was a regular at patriotic events locally and across the country. In April, Col. Millett served as grand marshal for the Salute to Veterans Parade in Riverside. Earlier this year, a park in San Jacinto was dedicated in his name. “He was a regular at the (Riverside) National Cemetery,” Goldware said. “If he could get on board a military transport, he would go anywhere for the troops.” Col. Millett was born in Mechanic Falls, Maine, on Dec. 15, 1920. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps in 1940 and served as an air gunner, then joined the Canadian Army when it appeared the United States would not enter World War II. “He joined the Royal Canadian Army after President Roosevelt said in a speech that no American boy would fight on foreign soil,” Goldware said. He returned to the U.S. Army in 1942 upon the United States’ entrance into World War II and served in the 1st Armored Division. After making sergeant, he was awarded a battlefield commission. According to his Medal of Honor Citation, then-Capt. Millett distinguished himself “above and beyond the call of duty in action” in Korea, after he and his men came under heavy enemy fire on Feb. 7, 1951. He ordered and led a bayonet counterattack up the hill, killing enemy soldiers in hand-to-hand assault during which he was wounded by a grenade blast. But by early afternoon, his company had taken the hill. He was presented the Medal of Honor by President Harry S. Truman in July 1951. He retired as a colonel in 1973 after a 31-year career in which he served in World War II, Korea War and the Vietnam War.

The interview revealed more about Obama’s vapid presence. He wishes to offer these meager straw arguments, pushing the so called divide on what to do in Afghanistan. As if this is an excuse for his negligence, on what he previously made such a political game about, the idea Afghanistan is the essential front line in the GWOT.

Obama shows how unethical he truly is once again. If we played his game, we could paint the issue as “one group wants to give the Taliban and Al Qaeda socialized medicine, and the other wishes to Nuke all of the Middle East”, but a President must lead in a serious manner, and send the forces YOUR BRAVE MEN AND WOMEN need who are fighting desperately for FREEDOM.

This unethical Partisan, is letting the American’s in Harm’s Way, fighting a battle Obama is now responsible since last January, and need help.

Meanwhile, they have failed in every aspect, as SMART POWER looks like a big disaster.

And they are unethically pushing for their own greed, the takeover of the US Health Care Industry.

    The Democratic Party swindle continues.

Meanwhile, my cousin’s newly married son is putting his life in harm’s way in Afghanistan serving as a Mariner. He enlisted when adults were still in charge in DC. He is not re-upping. He is out of there as soon as possible. I just hope he comes home alive and in one piece.

What these non-combatants fail to realize is that their battlefield commanders know that war is a constant state of flux and have the benefit of insight to guide their requests and recommendations, and if you take too long to respond to a given situation, the decision that you ultimately make will be too late and incorrect.

    0bama:

I will announce over the next several weeks, months or years another committee to over see the last committee to study the Afghanistan war. After that I will form a supreme committee headed by Bill Ayers to explain to the American people in very clear terms exactly how much the Troops suck and how much ACORN money is at stake.

We intend to give the Troops ObamaCare by cutting-off their food, water, weapons, and money. Once the troop causalities climb, I will clearly explain to the Troops how they are going succeed by surrendering in Afghanistan and joining ACORN, how much it is going to cost them and how long it is going to take.

I think that is what is owed to Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Oprah Winfrey and George Soros because Frankly Over the Last Several Years That is Not What They’ve Got.

Now, I must look busy and spout double talk to the Chinese. It’s clear that they will be a big campaign contributor to the DNC next election cycle. No, the Chinese will not be subject to a carbon tax. That is for the stupid American Taxpayers. I must go. Good day.

Does this sound remarkably like his campaign promises of transparency and open government regarding his stimulus crap package he had dog face Pelosi thrust down our throats.

We all know how that worked out. I guess the service people should start packing their bags for early departure in shame. I can hear the Taliban towel heads gloating already.

Let’s see, Obumbler’s installed American hating commies, leftists, and muslims in government posts; neutered homeland defense and the justice department with limp-wristed political hacks; gave Iran the green light and breathing space to further their nuclear weapons programs; has tried to muzzle Israel’s right to self-defense; is trying to tax our economy into oblivion while putting more and more of it under government control; has abandoned true allies in a perilous time; has bowed to or honored leftist dictators and religious extremists; has waged “war” against legitimate critics of his policies . . . . and he walks like a girly man.

Yet, he still has the unmitigated gall to brag that he’s restored “our” standing with the rest of the world? Our standing was fine until he walked into office. Our enemies feared us and our allies were supportive. Now, the world is laughing at him behind his back.

I swear, this tool we have as president has got to be the worst in history. He is certainly the biggest threat to the American way of life this country faces today, bar none.

I sometimes wonder what’s the point of sending 40, 60 or 100 thousands troops over there if their hands are tied by rules of engagement devised more for political considerations that don’t allow them to get as down and dirty as the enemy. Personally I think they ought to go through there and kill everything with a beard. Screw trying to win hearts and minds. They only feign loyalty to those with the biggest guns pointed at them.
