Jim Hoft

It should be obvious by now that Barack Obama’s disastrous Cloward-Piven economic policies were not meant to lift the economy.
After all, ask yourself, what would Obama be doing differently today if he intentionally set out to destroy the American economy?

He’s tripled the national deficit in less than one year.
obama deficit
He’s increased the national debt to $12 Trillion.
And he’s nearly doubled the unemployment rate since the Bush years.

Even Saturday Night Live and Chris Matthews can’t ignore it any longer.
Jim Simpson at The American Thinker reported today on Obama’s Cloward-Piven economic plan:

It should be clear to anyone with a mind and two eyes that this president and this Congress do not have our interests at heart. They are implementing this strategy on an unprecedented scale by flooding America with a tidal wave of poisonous initiatives, orders, regulations and laws. As Rahm Emmanuel said, “A crisis is a terrible thing to waste.”

The real goal of “healthcare” legislation, the real goal of “cap and trade,” the real goal of “stimulus” is to rip the guts out of our private economy and transfer wide swaths of it over to government control. Do not be deluded by the propaganda. These initiatives are vehicles for change. They are not goals in and of themselves, except in their ability to deliver power, and will make matters much worse, for that is their design.

This time, in addition to overwhelming the government with demands for services, Obama and the Democrats are overwhelming political opposition to their plans with a flood of apocalyptic legislation. Their ultimate goal is to leave us so discouraged, demoralized and exhausted that we throw our hands up in defeat. As Barney Frank said “the middle class will be too distracted to fight.”

These people are our enemies. They don’t use guns, yet, but they are just as dangerous, determined and duplicitous as the communists we faced in the Cold War, Korea, Vietnam and bush wars across the globe, and the Nazis we faced in World War II.

It is time we fully internalized and digested this fact, with all its ugly ramifications. These people have violated countless laws, and could be prosecuted, had we the political power. Not only are their policies unconstitutional, but deliberately so – the goal being to make the Constitution irrelevant. Their spending is off the charts and will drive us into hyperinflation, but could be rescinded, had we the political power. These policies are toxic, but could be stopped and reversed, had we the political power. Their ideologies are poisonous, but could be exposed for what they are, with long jail sentences as an object lesson, had we the political power.

Every single citizen who cares about this country should be spending every minute of his/her spare time lobbying, organizing, writing and planning. Fight every initiative they launch. It is all destructive. If we are to root out this evil, it is critical that in 2010 we win competent, principled leaders willing to defend our constitution and our country. Otherwise the malevolent cabal that occupies the seat of government today will become too entrenched.

After that all bets are off.

Michelle Moore has more on the democrat’s Cloward-Piven strategy.

Hey, did you all see that Best Buy wished all Muslims a Happy Eid al-Adha! Yep, in the Sunday paper! We can’t say Merry Christmas, but you can say Happy Eid al-Adha?

    More Hope and Change.

Businesses Hiring Fewer Workers Thanks To Expanded Unemployment Benefits In Stimulus Bill

Again and again liberals have insisted that one of the best ways to help with America’s unemployment problem is to expand unemployment benefits. In fact, expanded unemployment benefits were part of the “stimulus” spending spree that was supposed to create more jobs.

Throughout critics such as myself have pointed out that making it easier to be unemployed at the expense of the people who we want to be doing the hiring was hardly a way to fix unemployment. And it turns out we were right:

WARNING: there are two treaties that Barry and the gang are salivating to get their hands on and ratify. One is a version of the climate treaty the other is a UN Human Rights treaty. In both cases we give up our soverenity to “world government.” In the case of the UN treaty it would moot the Second Amendment… completely and immediately. In the climate case bureaucrats in Belgium could order American companies to buy equipment costing billions to ’save the Polar Bears’. All the idiot carbon sequestration schemes immediately become law. Etc., etc., etc.

I am not normally an alarmist. I usually just get disgusted and write a few letters to various Congress critters. THIS TIME IS DIFFERENT. The self serving swine in the District of Criminals (cf. Animal Farm) are set to implement this travesty on us. They even said so.

saul alinksky wrote the book on how to be an effective bully. They know human behavior better than we do. That’s what bullies are best at, using people’s own behavior against them. Responding correctly to bully tactics is very, very difficult.

Chuck In St Paul is correct. It has been said that the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen is DOA. Lie? Diversion? Just be prepared ….Some Big Players are in on the UN Mandate http://www.libertypost.org/cgi-bin/readart.cgi?ArtNum=278834Coca-Cola is spearheading a coalition of more than 100 companies pushing a United Nations climate treaty to bind the U.S. to cap-and-trade emissions regulation, commit the world’s wealthiest nations to a potential $10 trillion in foreign aid and, possibly, form a proposed international “super-grid” for regulating and distributing electric power worldwide.
Together with the SAP and Siemens corporations, Coca-Cola launched a website called Hopenhagen, leading up to the U.N. Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, Denmark, which opens on Dec. 7. The website invites the citizens of the world to sign a petition demanding world leaders draft binding agreements on climate change and advertises, as of today, “16 days left to seal the deal.”

Other “friends” of Hopenhagen include media outlets Newsweek, Discovery Channel, Huffington Post, Cosmopolitan, Seventeen, The Wall Street Journal and Clear Channel, among others, Internet giants Yahoo, Google and AOL and dozens of other companies and organizations.

If , indeed we have arrived at the conclusion stated in the article; is it rational to propose as a counter strategy that which led us to this point? Hoping that some miracle will evolve out of November 2010 may be placing faith in a will-o-the-wisp. Acorn, SEIU, NBPP et-al, massive vote fraud; may render Democrat losses within an acceptable range ( for them). What then? Yes, work like the next election is the last as the article suggests; realizing that more will be needed if the republic is to survive in a form recognizable to any objective observer. Armed resistence to tyranny is a circumstance not unknown on these shores. Think Globally Act Locally! (Remember this phrase: a favorite of the Left?) One may not be able to impact the seats of power directly, but within each community there are those who mirror the attitudes and intent of those who are proceeding to destroy all that has gone before. You know them. Prepare to direct you attention to them, with extreme predjudice. Perfomed on a wide scale at the right moment this may have astonishing results. It will be neither pleasant nor easy…but then neither was 1776.

Having grown up in an abusive family, I saw the warning signs a long time ago. Our elected officials do not have our best interests at heart. Indeed, quite the opposite: they are doing their level best to make sure we have less freedom. They hold nothing but contempt for us for some inexplicable reason.

If God is punishing America, you know, for all the baby-killing in the millions per year…or for the rampant idolotry and complete disdain for God and his laws and even his very existance….how are we to stop this punishment with “political power”? WHO are we to even think we can?

LOL. Obama is King Saul. He was put there for a reason, by a God whose plans won’t be thwarted by politics.

National repentance and a return to God and his truth is the only way to stop this. This is as it has always been. Like the dictates of physics, there are natural, albeit metaphysical, reactions to actions, and there are natural, predictable results. Throw an object up, it falls back down.

When America said “Go away” to God, in a thousand ways, did anyone expect that God would continue to bless and protect America?

You can go ahead and keep thinking you’re going to change the direction of America in 2010, without a return to God.

I’ve always said Obama’s goal is to destroy the U.S. economy, and the power of the U.S. military as well, which will make it far easier for him and his thugs to do what they will with America. Obama is on the inside accomplishing the same goals Osama bin Laden set out to attain. Considering Obama’s Muslim roots and actions in Office, I beg to see little difference in these two men.

    Rise up for America

[On March 26, 1919, from a podium with over a thousand people in attendance in New York, this statement was made, I am going back to Russia to overthrow the Provisional Government and stop the war with Germany and allow no interference from any outside government. I want you people here to organize and keep on organizing until you are able to overthrow this damned, rotten, capitalistic Government of this country. Leon Trotsky did leave America the next morning traveling on a U.S. Passport provided by President Woodrow Wilson. In addition to fifty or so fellow Bolsheviks who had been exercising their influence in America securing support for the Bolshevik Revolution from New York financiers, highly placed government officials and a willing European immigrant community were fellow travelers later described in his journals by American Communist Lincoln Steffens. Notably, Steffens was on board en route to Russia at the specific invitation of Charles Richard Crane, a backer and former chairman of the Democratic Partys finance committee. Trotsky, traveling under a US passport provided by President Wilson, his traveling companions including the former chairman of the Democratic Party finance committee, and his statements to the audience in New York before leaving have, in their proper historical context, much greater implications than can be imagined for our nation 90 years later.]

Obama’s Man Axelrod Was Mentored by Marxist Radicals

[The paper covered Quentin Young’s 1972 trip to North Vietnam and
his son Ethan’s, 1970 sojourn in Cuba with the Venceremos Brigades.

“Essentially what I see myself working for is socialism in the United States…” said Ethan. “Exactly how it will emerge, I’m still not sure…
but that’s what I’ll be working for”.

Don Rose and David Canter took the young David Axelrod under their wing. Axelrod was a regular visitor to the Canter household and the radical duo took it upon themselves to “mentor” and “educate…politically“, the young journalist.

Don Rose later wrote a reference letter for Axelrod that helped win
the internship at the Chicago Tribune which launched his career.]

an excerpt via e-mail from GB

[We have a stewardship. We have been given a great nation. We have been given freedom that no one else has ever had. We have been given wealth that no one else has ever had. We've been given security that no one else has ever had. And we have taken it for granted too many times. We've given our country over to a bunch of corrupt politicians because we had faith in the system. But because this has been happening now for over 100 years, and both the Republicans and the Democrats, they are very smart. They had us arguing against each other and, no, no, it's the Democrats' fault; no, it's the Republicans' fault; no, it's the Democrats' fault. Well, change this congress and things will change; change it back and things will change again. Changity change, change, change. We were drunk on our own wealth and power, we were, we were high on our own assets and home and big screen TV and brand name clothing. We just didn't see it coming. When you can have a senator take a $100 million bribe, they don't even talk about the bill. Let the bill stand on its own. It's either right for the nation or it's not. When you have a $100 million bribe in the bill, three pages, and it's disguised. So you have to kind of figure out who it's for, $100 million, and then that senator come out and correct and say, no, no, no, it's not $100 million; it's $300 million! And they do it without shame. We're in a different world. We are, we are at the point of singularity. We are at the tipping point. The paradigm is about to shift, no matter what it is you want to call it. You feel it in your gut.]

After all, ask yourself, what would Obama be doing differently today if he intentionally set out to destroy the American economy?

For one thing, he’d have started by sneaking the Fairness Doctrine or something equivalent into the porkulus bill. That would have put his critics on the defensive. Then he’d have gone after amnesty for illegal immigrants, thus increasing the labor pool, worsening unemployment, and giving the Democrats an enormous new electoral majority.

In short, I think if Barry Lackwit was actually trying to destroy the US economy, he’d have gone about it much more efficiently. What we are seeing is the result, not of a deliberate campaign of malice, but of incompetence and stupidity by Lackwit and his chief allies in Congress, Red Harry Reid and the Bitch Princess.
