Nancy Pelosi told leftist supporters today that the the reason Americans are mad about their record spending is that “they’re not getting anything for it.”
And, that’s why she wants a new Stimulus Bill!

Building the case for a brand new jobs-creation bill, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says most Americans would not mind inflating the already-gaping deficit in exchange for more jobs.
The California Democrat said on a conference call Tuesday that Americans could “absorb” the hit to the federal budget, and she argued that their biggest complaint is not that the deficit is big — it’s that they’re not seeing any benefit in return for increasing the U.S. debt load.
Despite the $787 billion stimulus package passed in February, unemployment climbed to 10.2 percent in October. While critics cite the jobless rate as a sign that the stimulus has failed, Pelosi argues that the federal government is just not trying hard enough.
“We have to shed any weakness that anybody may have about not wanting to be confrontational on this subject for fear that we’d be labeled not sensitive to the deficit,” Pelosi said, in a recording posted by Think Progress.
“The American people have an anger about the growth of the deficit because they’re not getting anything for it.”
So now they want to do it all over again.
What a nightmare.

The American people are angry about the growth of the deficit because they’re not getting anything for it! My spending bill was straight forward.
I and my fellow members in Congress took our standard 33% of the pie. The Obama and his Administration took their 33% of the pie. ACORN and SEIU took their 33% of the pie.
Sure, that leaves little left. But, it should have stimulated the economy – or at least the Limousine and private jet industry. The Taxpayer should have “adsorbed” the hit to their wallets – not to mention the dump truck load of debt. I don’t know what wrong.

Hence, I support a new and Bigger Stimulus bill. Something so staggering and inflated that it will make Obama’s ego look like a small pumpkin. We need some number so huge that it will be hard, if not impossible, for the taxpayers to count the zeros.
Something that it will finally allow every Federal worker to afford their own Jumbo Jet… and the accompanying carbon credits.
I may not be an economist but, I am proposing that a new bill be drafted to spend our way out of the old bill – whether it takes tripling or quintupling the current government debt.
Sure, the deficit is big and causing interest rates to go through the roof but I have to sensitive to my “constituents.” That is why we need more debt.

She lives in this delusion that government creates job. It’s like using the term ‘democracy’ when in fact our form of government is not a democracy. The SEIU and ACORN practice democracy where the passions of the hordes rule rather than law.
If Nancy wants job creation then get the hell out of the people’s business. We do not exist just for the sake of government. Likewise we do not work to keep feeding the beast. If she wants stimulus then let us keep more of our money to buy things to deplete inventories that need to be restocked. Let us keep our wealth to grow our ability to make even more and hire more people. Make the word ‘investment’ something that is done in the private sector not just an Orwellian name of some idiotic legislation that invests in nothing other than funneling wealth into government jobs that do not create new wealth.

The last “stimulus” *Had* to be passed immediately and without being read, because of the “economic crisis”.
And, we were guaranteed that unemployment wouldn’t go over 8%; and that, in fact, 3,500,000 new jobs would be created and millions more “saved”.

Now, unemployment is over 10.2%, NO new jobs have been created outside of government bureaucrats and summer “jobs” for gangbangers, and no one can tell us where the money has gone or what it went for. Do I have that right?
Uh huh! And now, pelosi feels that (after admitting the failure of the first “stimulus”) that the best solution is to go back to the trough for another big helping of “other people’s money”. That THIS time, it will work out for the people.

I am angered by what is happening with our government, but I believe in the afterlife and God’s Judgement Day.
