Texas police officer is hailed a hero today for shooting Fort Hood killer Nidan Hasan 4 times during his killing rampage.
ABC reported:

The Times Online reported:

A police officer who intervened to stop a shooting spree at America’s biggest military base was hailed today a heroine as she received treatment for the wounds received in a shoot-out with the gunman.

Major Nidal Hasan, an army psychiatrist due to be posted to Afghanistan, shot dead 13 people and wounded 30 others after opening fire with two handguns at Fort Hood yesterday afternoon.

But the death toll from the rampage could have been far worse had it not been for the actions of Sergeant Kimberly Munley, a civilian police officer stationed at the base who was the first on the scene as Major Hasan picked off his victims.

Sergeant Munley managed to hit Major Hasan four times but was herself hit by a bullet that passed through both her legs, according to witnesses.

I find it infinitely pleasing that a woman took down this man who practices a misogynistic religion.

I find it too evil that POTUS took 2 minutes before acknowledging the incident at Ft. Hood, when the man is the COMMANDER IN CHIEF.

Thank you Sgt. Munley and I pray for your speedy recovery.

And I also pray that God will protect this nation through these dark hours with BHO at the helm. May God truly have mercy on this nation

Did you see the picture of Sergeant Munley? She’s not a big woman. But, in this case, she was the right woman for the job, and another case of an armed woman who stopped a massacre (I’m also thinking of the New Life Church shooting.)

An excellent case for carrying a concealed weapon (handgun).

Sgt. Munley is truly a brave lady, and, I’m sure, a number of people owe their lives to her. I, too, pray for her speedy recovery and also pray that the political correctness that appears to have left Major Hasan at his post, will be scrapped for a more sensible approach.

Main Street said “that the political correctness that appears to have left Major Hasan at his post, will be scrapped for a more sensible approach.”
I agree with you whole-heartedly. Unfortunately, it seems to be what is running this country and until we turn this around I am afraid that we will see more tragedies like this.
Political Correctness my eye. That man should not have been in that position given to the rants that he made against women, jews and gays. Nonsense

Well done, officer. I only wish President Shout-Out was this decisive in dealing with our enemies and giving the troops for whom he is supposedly CINC what they need to win.

Voting present isn’t an option, President Dip$hit.

Of course, since the shooter in this case is a fellow Muslim, President Hussein “doesn’t want to jump to conclusions”. He is a false front, and little by little the facade presented in the campaign an promoted daily by the media is being chipped away to see what an evil radical lying bastard this tool really is.

Reports say handguns. Since when are handguns, shotguns? aren’t shotguns pretty big to “smuggle” into the intake center?

That’s a hero – running TO the fight, especially when staying put would have been completely understandable and defensible.
Love these spunky “average” people – traffic duty to counter-terrorist.

Dunno. Jury is still out on that. It looks like a separating of the sheep from the goats sort of thing. Who was fooled and who wasn’t.
I’d rather find out NOW, not later, who has feet of clay and who doesn’t, who are the Judases and who are the Peters, who are the Esaus and who are the Jacobs of this nation, of this world.

I’m no expert on guns or ammunition, but how does a bullet from a handgun pass through both legs? That sounds like an awfully powerful round.

    God Bless Officer Munley!

As others have said, it is poetic justice that this murderous, mysoginistic scum was taken down by a woman.

Thank you Wanumba….I think this was God’s wake up call to America….I do noth think we would be getting this much conservative action if McCain had been elected. I think we could have sat back, breathed a sigh of relief, and continued down the same path. With BHO in the WH….we woke up and woke up fast. Now, I only hope that the damage he does can be undone……But if God allowed this, then God will see us through the undoing of this nightmare

Kudos to the police officer. But I have a question: why is a civilian police officer doing duty on a military base?

From what I have heard civilian police are used as security as well as the usual MP’s.

It rocks that a woman took down the killer, especially considering Islam does not consider a woman on the same level as a man. She stepped up to the plate and saved many lives; she deserves recognition, a medal, and plenty of appreciation.

To further heap appreciation on Sgt Munley, the accuracy of a handgun decreases quickly with distance. It’s a close range weapon, not a long range one. To get a cluster of hits, as she did – four – we are told, she had to get herself closer to an actively shooting target than anyone would want to be under the circumstances. That she was shot in return by a close range weapon proves she was in a lethal zone.
God bless her, she’s probably saying, “I didn’t think, my training took over.”

It was probably a standard full metal jacket 9mm round. Since they don’t deform (because of the fmj) at close range that wouldn’t be too surprising.
And 9mm pistols are the standard military issue. Since people have said that nidal didn’t like the range activities, he probably wouldn’t have gone out and bought – and practiced with – more powerful (and harder to use) handguns. He used what was easiest to get and most familiar to him.

It strikes me as an excellent case for LEO to carry larger caliber handguns!

Now, the legacy media will be exposed to the horrors of the UCMJ. This poor man was abused and ridiculed as the US Taxpayers payed for his education and livelihood. Hopefully, a three day military trial under the UCMJ and a lethal injection will put him out of his misery.

Lorraine! I totally agree with your comments. I am Canadian and mourn the loss of so many good soldiers. The enemy is here, right in our ranks, in our midst. This enemy is neurotic and insane and the only way to react to it is as this police officer has done. The most noble thing to do is to give one’s life so others can live. Training or not, it takes guts to engage such a neurotic islamic pig who shows what he is made of by firing on defenseless people. My prayer is that she will make a full recovery. May this be yet another lesson that we must all be vigilant and aware without being anxious. God bless America.

Earth to all citizens of the US/West..

IT’S OFFICIAL: THE JIHAD IS HERE

Muslim radicals call Hasan ‘Officer and a Gentleman’

    13 deaths were ‘pre-emptive attack;’
‘We do NOT denounce his actions’.

["Every day is Fort Hood for the world community due to USA policies and their tyrant totalitarian puppet regimes," the activists proclaimed. "Rest assure (sic) the slain terrorists at Fort Hood are in the eternal hellfire and it is not to (sic) late for YOU to change your policies," they said.

The website's mission statement states, "Revolution Muslim is a message and movement grounded in the sayings, deeds, actions and understanding of Ahlus Sunnah wal jama'ah (The collective body of those Muslims that adhere to the ways of the Prophet (SAWS) and the first four generations of Muslims)."

It continues, "We pray that we may witness the dismantlement of western, secular dominance across the world as we hold it to be pagan and idolatrous in the majority of its presumptions. We seek a resurrection of the just example set forth by centuries of Islamic rule throughout the ages and we hold it to be self evident for the objective soul and mind that Allah is One and that Muhammad ibn Abdullah is His Prophet and that the religion offers the solution to all of the world’s ills and afflictions."

The base commander said soldiers reported they heard Hasan shout
"Allahu Akbar," or "Allah is the greatest," while he was shooting.]

no one has been heeding the numerous warnings, namely the MSM, most especially our Congressmen/Women, Homeland Security, DOD, DOS, etc.. & our so called President..
