A radical black organization protested the president today at the White House. They accused Obama of being “white power in black face.”
They must be racists.

The AFP reported:
Decrying Barack Obama as “white power in black face,” hundreds of African-Americans marched on the White House Saturday to protest policies of the first black US president, and demand that he bring US troops home.
More than 200 people gathered for the first public demonstration by African Americans against the Obama administration since his historic inauguration in January, and slammed the president for continuing what they described as Washington’s “imperialist” agenda around the world.
“We recognize that Barack Hussein Obama is white power in black face,” civil rights activist Omali Yeshitela, chairman of the Black is Back coalition which arranged the protest, called into a megaphone as the group marched outside the mansion’s gates.
“He is a tool of our imperialist enemies and we demand our freedom. And we demand that Obama withdraw all the troops from Afghanistan right now.”
Obama had the support of 96% of African-Americans in the 2008 election.

Ok, ok, I get it…Barak Obama is a tool of “our” imperialist enemies?? Eh..I thought, in the progressive vernacular, WE were the imperialist enemy? No? So, Dear Leader is some other imperialist’s tool? The enemy imperialsit? And they demmand their freedom??!! But, you voted for the One, didn’t ya? C’mon, I’m getting confused…How long until these, errrm, “protestors” are linked to a right -wing front group. Olberman won’t do it though, these guys were black.

This is funny and we were just talking about the problem this is indicative of, at dinner.
Obama can not keep all of these groups happy. And each group thought Obama was their guy.
It couldn’t be happening to a more deserving tool.

As far as Oblame-all as a unifier, well it’s worked out like a meat cleaver. If he keeps his crap up the divide will take us further back.

‘Bloodless’ Obama making Americans pine for Bush?
snip:
Tony Harnden’s excellent piece in today’s Telegraph may be stretching a point but what people miss about Bush was his directness and the fact that he (and Clinton before him) wore their emotions on their sleeve.
More serious perhaps was Mr Obama’s strange disconnectedness over the Fort Hood massacre of 13 soldiers by an Army major and devout Muslim who opposed the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, had praised suicide bombing and shouted “Allahu Akbar” as he opened fire.
[...]
Harnden also remarks, “Completely missing was the eloquence that Mr Obama employs when talking about himself.” This may be key to understanding Obama’s reaction to the election last Tuesday as well as the Fort Hood massacre. His narcissism allows for a detachment from events unless he is the total focus of attention. And, of course, anything bad that happens is totally outside of anything relating to him personally.”
Strange – and not a little frightening.

Reminds me of his reaction to the Little Rock soldier that was murdered by a Muslim. It took BO four days to respond to that incident.
Conversely, it took BO all of ten minutes to respond to the Gates’ incident. THAT incident elicited emotion from BO.
Priorities…priorities!

W. received wide-spread condemnation for his handling of Katrina. But he did at least show up eventually. Has President Obama ever done or said anything to acknowledge the real deaths and suffering that took place in Kentucky and Appalachia last winter as we was basking in the warm glow of his inaugural.
Has any new organization followed up to see to what degree – if any – President Obama’s FEMA has contributed to the recovery of those areas or the ones devistated by last spring’s flooding?
Calling President Obama a narccissist (sp? – never my strong suit) does a dis-service to narcissists everywhere.
