Bill O’Reilly reported on the the latest FOX News poll tonight.
Sarah Palin’s favorable rating is now at 47%:
palin approval

Meanwhile, Barack Obama’s job approval rating is now at 46%:
obama approval
This was reported earlier on Palin’s rising star.
FOX News reported:

As Sarah Palin blankets the media on a whirlwind book promotion tour, the former vice-presidential contender is clearly back on America’s radar screen. Despite being characterized by many as a divisive force in her party and the nation, Americans are much more likely to give Palin a positive rating (47 percent favorable) than another prominent female leader — Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (28 percent favorable). Moreover, about six in 10 Americans (61 percent) think Palin has been treated unfairly by the press, according to the latest Fox News poll.

Wait until the state-run media hears this.
Hah.

“not an airhead appealing to people’s basest instincts.”

You just described Obama, if by basest you mean basic. He plays the oldest populist game in history in order to get into power–class warfare, a sort of economic racism. That is what people turn to in order to get into power when they have no platform to run on. Oh and this blame Bush for everything….reminds me of the Nazis blaming the Jews. Scapegoating gets old fast.

“Tis so revaling. The malignant responses and reactions of leftist libtards and their presstitutes signals conservatives who the left fear and who they know can defeat them. And the left certainly doesn’t fear Romney, Huckabee, or Pawlenty The libturds and their elite paymasters and pupeteers are terorized by Sarah Palin exactly as they were driven to dementia by Reagan and Nixon in years past. The left’s Soros funded jwhorenalists and their Soros paid trolls are soiling themselves at the mere thought of Sarah’s book selling 300,000 copies the first day it was out.

RE: Chris#6. I have asked many people why they hate Palin. They respond like Chris with a personal attack; she’s stupid, an airhead, a bitch etc. Actually, they dislike Palin because the msm have told them to. Most are following propaganda and are unaware of it because they have not studied it’s uses and techniques. I can assure you, Palin would not debase the USA on the world stage by bowing to potentates. Chris is most likely a socialist/Democrat collecting some type of government check or other handout. Working people are beginning to realize how badly they are being stolen from by the feds. And they ARE PISSED OFF!!

To be honest, I would vote for Sarah Palin, over Barack Obama for President, any day of the week….but after seeing her on Hannity last night, she has a long way to go to convince me that she has the boldness, and determination to lead better than Pawlenty or Romney.

I know a lot out there are think Romney is too moderate…but I think he will move to the right if elected President. I think a Romney/Palin ticket would destroy Barack Obama in 2012. Nevertheless, let the primary process play out to see who is the best conservative Republican.

She was more bold and determined with her answers with a tougher O’Reilly tonight…but was more unsure of herself with a softball Hannity interview yesterday, where Shaun was answering some of her questions for her.

If Sarah is to be President, then the first thing I would do is fire whoever is advising me right now, and hire someone that will take her, and “drill-baby-drill” her on the issues, sharpen her to be ready to answer any question with boldness and determination.

She seemed very timid and unsure of herself, and wore her emotions on her sleeve last night…a long cry from the woman I saw giving speeches last year.

So Sarah…if you still want to lead the Country…fire whoever is advising you, and get someone who will toughen you up, while still allowing you to be the real, and “rogue” person that we love. And yes…even though I think O’Reilly has been going more and more moderate over the years, I actually agree with him that you need to learn to control the interview with hostile liberal media…don’t directly answer “gotcha” questions…instead learn to side-step and pivot, while still sounding engaged.

Forget that pairing. Palin will never be anyone’s #2 again. And she shouldn’t be. Palin will take her orders from the American people but no one else. So, she’s either at the top of the ticket or not on it at all.

“Despite being characterized by many as a divisive force in her party and the nation…”

They are exactly right. She divides the country in the middle. While Pelosi is a uniter, uniting 72% of the nation to disapprove of her. Of course Obama is divisive too: 46% approve against 46% disapprove.

    GaryNo Gravatar

The correct comparison is Palin’s favorable number is 47, and Obama’s is 54. You can’t compare “personal favorability” to “job as president”. Apples and oranges.

    http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,575854,00.html

Still, that’s not too bad for Palin, and it’s worth noting that Obama’s number has come down considerably from the first of the year. All this in spite of Palin being trashed and ridiculed by the media, Hollywood and academia, while Obama benefitted from being fawned over and protected.

Disenfranchised dems are going to come out in droves to vote for Palin the true Patriot. They WILL NOT vote for Romney, Pawlenty, Huckabee or whoever else (obowma). Same old tired men with tired ideas who can be bought off and manipulated.
This will be her Reagan moment. They are tires of the doublespeak and utter failure of common sense, fiscal responsibility from the marxist dems and the idiocy of the neo-cons.
Americans of most flavors are looking for a leader of any party who has a vision and believes that the constitution is boss and will abide by it. That’s ‘cuda. For those who knock her and say she has no record or that she is stupid just shows them to be the tired and stupid ones they really are. Her record is what sold me on her. Some day I will post the LONG list of her record. It is more than anyone we have seen in Gov lately or in the recent past. Not many people know about her accomplishments or what she really believes. And bone headed obot marxists can burn the non-denominational church down that she attends again and it will only get more people on her side. keep it up obot marxist commies. It’ll make Sarah’s approval rating grow and soar. Most sane people are sick of the lies, bait and switch and the bamboozle. Glad I didn’t vote for obowma. My conscience is clear. i don’t have that burden on my conscience.
