Sarah Palin called out far left Speaker Pelosi for breaking several promises to the American people…
“Your Blue Dogs Are Howling”
Democrats are going to ram their nationalized health care plan through the US House today.
From her facebook page:
Like many Americans, I’m very concerned about the efforts underway to rush through the 2,000 page Pelosi health care bill this weekend. Why the rush? That’s a lot of pages to read. Why not give everyone the chance to read it and debate it?
How much will this bill cost us? It’s unclear because the figures coming out of Washington keep changing – and always in the direction of costing more, not less. The latest numbers show it will cost more than a trillion dollars over the decade, but when has a government program ever come in on or under budget?
How will we pay for it? Taxes, of course – and not just on the “rich” (you know, the people who spur the economy by buying goods and running companies that employ people), but also on just about everyone, especially small businesses – the job-creating engine of our economy. One of the points of health care reform was to help small businesses with the cost, but this bill hurts them – and right at a time when so many Americans are out of work and need the jobs that small businesses produce.
What’s in this bill? The “death panel” provision is in it. Medicare cuts are in it. Coverage of illegal immigrants is in it. And federal funding for abortion is in it. I commend the many Republicans and Blue Dog Democrats who are taking a principled stance to fight this.
I had a message for Speaker Pelosi in a speech I gave last night for the Wisconsin Right to Life – “please, please don’t break the ‘transparency promise’ by prohibiting at least a vote of your colleagues on funding abortion-on-demand.”
Speaker Pelosi has already broken many promises thus far in this “reform” exercise. She promised that this would be a bi-partisan effort, but the bill she’s pushing isn’t bi-partisan. She promised that the final version of the bill would be posted online 72 hours before it comes to a vote so that the American people could clearly see what’s in it and how we will pay for it. But she broke that promise too when she decided to rush the bill to a vote this weekend.
The speaker must be held accountable for her broken promises.
Now is the time for Americans who believe in the free market and who believe that we need policies that promote job growth instead of job loss to say once and for all, “Enough!” Stand up and make your voices heard before it’s too late. Call and email your representatives and tell them to vote “no” on Pelosi’s train wreck of a health care bill, or else we will vote “no” to sending them back to Washington when we go to the polls in less than 12 months.

Technically Nanny has not broken any “promises”, since she never intended to do any of those things anyway.

Smack down Sarah strikes again. Trying to give Nancy P and company a set of brains.

That goes double for you Congressman Paul (Town Hall by phone) Tonko. (NY-21) No more more blending in the background for you. ;-)

Pelosi can be as nasty, far left and radical as her flaming hormones dictate since she represents San Fran, a commie’s paradise. What is so bizarre is all the other Dem’s herding up like lemmings ready to stampede over the cliff at her beck and call taking our economy and health care system with them.

God Bless Sarah Palin.
I just heard that the penalty for not having heath insurance is like $15,000 per year. Have these people lost their freaking minds? People have lost jobs, and scrambling to feed their families, and now another fcking ILLEGAL tax?
Who the hell is going to pay for this $hit?
No one is going to bow to this nonsense!!!!!
what next, are they going to tell us what kind of toilet paper we have to buy, or we get a penalty??
I have always voted democrat, next year, I am voting straight conservative/republican! If they opposed this nonsense, they get my vote and my campaign contributions!

Pelosi has no more hormone left due to old age. All left are just botox. No more democrats for me, esp. all who supported the 787 billions TARP, cap and trade and Pelosicare.

….next year, I am voting straight conservative/republican!
A word of advice: Do the necessary research in order to be fully informed. Republican does not necessarily equal conservative, as evidenced by the existence of Skeezaflavin, Specter, Snowe, etc etc.
Make sure you back the real deal, instead of some RINO.

I have a problem. The MSM tells me that Sarah’s glass is not 1/2 anything, but empty. I guess my glass is also empty since I agree with everything she has said.

Well those Blue Dog Democrats need to know that signing a bill that funds abortions means they have put their personal seal of approval on the document, and thus, will be held responsible for the promoting of the killing of the unborn. This isn’t just something you can ask for forgiveness for and except forgiveness when it will be put into law and could possibly be in effect for years. Maybe they should ask themselves if they will be able to live with themselves and the consequences of their actions.

a soon-to-be-former-democrat KR
After being a 3rd Generation Democrat I quit the party just before the election last year.
Perhaps Obama and Pelosi don’t get it that a
a strong person doesn’t need power to make them strong and a weak person is destroyed by that power. Let the destruction of the Democratic Party begin.

Palin/Bachman 2012. It seems Republican woman are the only ones not afraid to speak truth to power.

Rush Limbaugh said that we can cover all Americans who don’t currently have Health Insurance for 29 Billion a year. Makes sense to me if this was about Healthcare.
However, this is about control over everything we do including how long we are allowed to live. Many of the punitive amendments in this bill are unconstitutional and can be challenged in court. That is unless Pelosi wants to take up a bill repealing the Constitution. POWER CORRUPTS — ABSOLUTE POWER CORRUPTS ABSOLUTELY…
