Sarah Palin was swarmed at the Kennewick, Washington Turkey Trot yesterday. The former Alaskan Governor helped raise $45,000 for the Red Cross at the event.
Sarah Palin helped the Red Cross break all kinds of records with her presence at the event.
Local KNDO reported:
Sarah Palin was surrounded by hundreds including a handful of supporters from Alaska. The former Vice Presidential candidate has taken a few days off her nationwide book tour to spend her Thanksgiving weekend with family and friends. She has two aunts in town and deep roots in the Tri-City area. “It’s awesome, of course we’ve spent so much time here over all these years. But it’s really, really good to be back and just can’t wait to hang out with more of the family and friends today and enjoy Thanksgiving dinner,” said Palin.
Thanksgiving dinner was not the only thing to celebrate. The Red Cross had nearly 3,000 registered trotters. Several hundred of those was because of Sarah Palin. Her appearance helped bring in some big bucks for the non-profit organization. “She did increase participation which is great. It’s a family event and we thank her for that, and we are raising money for the Red Cross,” said Pat Mastler, event coordinator for the Red Cross.
The Turkey Trot fundraiser brought in over $45,000 dollars from donations and sponsors. Workers say it broke records.

We are glad to have her and her family visiting the Tri-Cities. (Tri-Cities = Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland) We’ll be putting up lights tomorrow.

As always a lady of character and grace. I can’t wait to see her sworn in to office in Jan. of 2013!
And to that end the first of my new line of “Palin 2012″ T-shirts and other items is up at my Cafe Press Store. I think these are my best designs yet, and more items will be posted after I eat some supper here. Take a look and give me any feedback or suggestions. As soon as I sell enough to justify it, I am going to upgrade the store so I can offer more than just one item per category.

Axelrod, look at what I am seeing on my TV screen! Isn’t this the same women who got 49% of vote last election? She could ruin my election chances. I suck.
I don’t know if I should bow to her or trying to buy her off. What should I do? Axelrod, you supposed to be the brains behind this operation. Form a committee and find a solution.
My schedule is empty so I am going to have an expensive party. I must look busy. Good day.

As always Sarah Palin is a class act. She certainly rises above the “normal” political hacks.

Finally, a politician that is genuine and that we can truly admire. I wish her the best in whatever future endeavor she chooses. If she becomes the GOP nominee, I will work my butt off to get her elected.

Any of you fellow Republicans out there, can you imagine any possible scenario where this woman is NOT our GOP Presidential nominee for 2012?
Perhaps a snow machine accident, or getting hit by a bus in downtown Anchorage God forbid. But outside of that; SHE’S OUR GAL FOR 2012!!!
(Sorry to be a bit morbid, but you get the point.)

We need to get the primaries closed as soon as possible- I could see a concerted effort by the left to poison the well and make sure another McCain-like candidate gets the nomination again.

Let’s pray for Sarah’s safety, being surrounded by crowds in which a person planning to do her harm could hide. Anyone with the political power she now has should travel with a security detail. If she wants to out to press the flesh, she should be inside some sort of bullet-proof enclosure. People should have to pass through a metal detector in order to approach her.
I hope I’m just being unnecessarily paranoid.

I’m sure Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, Tim Pawlenty or Joe Biden for that matter could draw a crowd like that.
