Even children’s shows are not safe from the far left.
Oscar the Grouch trashed FOX News this week:

Big Hollywood reported:

Last week, in a re-broadcast of an episode that originally aired two years ago, Oscar starts his own news network, GNN (Grouchy News Network). An irate viewer calls in to berate him that the news is not grouchy enough:

“I am changing the channel. From now on I am watching ‘Pox’ News. Now there is a trashy news show.”

Heh – have children’s shows *ever* been run by anyone other than liberals? Can’t seem to remember a time during MY life that it’s been any different than this… ;)

    What makes it bad is
    a) it’s aimed at children and
    b) it’s paid for with our tax dollars.

Reminds me of the History channel in a special they had last week (can’t remember the name – something about freemasonry in the planning of DC), when the program talked about conspiracy theorists they showed pictures of TEA partiers and people who are anti-Obamacare. I immediately deleted the recording and turned off the TV.

    “it’s all about the children”..

    you betcha it is!!

the elite powers that be want total control in the New World Order.. that includes “minds” as well as hearts, bodies & souls of allegiance.. if you thought 1984 was scary, that was just a fictional movie, for our childrens grandchildrens future however, it may very well be a comparable reality..

There are many things in children’s shows and cartoons that are intended for the adult audience. This statement in inappropriate, because there will be some parents who do not want their children brainwashed in this way. The makers of Sesame Street should stay neutral or perhaps lose their funding.

I stopped being a member of public television after this last election – and I told them it was because they were too biased in their reporting. This is just one more reason why – but if you stop being a member, let them know why – otherwise, it won’t make any difference. Well, it probably won’t anyway! But I feel better -

Wait wait wait. GNN is supposed to deliver grouchy news (CNN is supposed to deliver actual news). Caller says she will watch POX to get her grouchy/trashy news. (Fox actually delivers real news.

In this I see that they have stumbled onto the truth. At delivering the news, FOX is better than CNN.

I won’t watch public Television since maryland’s Gov. O’Smalley used tax dollars to fund a channel which is broadcast entirely in spanish. My tax dollars Telling illegals where to go to receive public assistance and how to go about it.

    Yeah,

Lets defund all of it. National Endowment of the Arts, PBS, NPR… because they are gay, right? and they don’t recite idiotic talking points like “freedom” and “liberty”. And we can use that extra funding for tax reductions for corporations, or maybe we can create a new NASCAR and chewing tobacco agency for you folks.

    Give me a break..

The only way kids would even pay attention to it is because you STUPID PARENTS KEEP BRINGING IT UP.

MY GOD! I was just voted a second class citizen yesterday. And you people are here making a mountain out of an anthill over a silly joke that most kids whom watch that show wouldn’t even GET!

It’s too late. The Marxists have controlled this program for 40 years. That’s 2 generations brainwashed. You have already succumbed. All that remains is for the secret signal to be broadcast, and the revolution will begin: no religion but the state; no god but Obama; no marriage, just sex-you will comply, even if your partner is same-sex, because of your conditioning. This signal can be broadcast anytime. All channels are susceptible. The new HDTVs we were forced to purchase have the required technology to activate all sleepers, you, your children, your pets. Beck cannot save you. Limbaugh cannot save you. Reagan cannot save you. Surrender.

Admittedly, Big Giant Head is factually correct.

As Deputy Assistant Director of Mind/Media Control at ACORN, I have personally helped to program the secret signal that will brainwash our children into getting gay-married, canvassing for Pelosi, and watching Project Runway, among various and sundry evils.

Early tests have worked: we’ve brainwashed a good majority into thinking that Barack Obama is not the physical reincarnation of Adolf Hitler, despite the incontrovertible photographic evidence provided by one Lyndon LaRouche.

And, just as Big Giant Head notes, Reagan cannot save you. He is dead. Coincidence?

It’s a shame that during the Obama administration, our government funds and gives tax breaks to organizations that do not represent all taxpaying citizens’ perspectives and wishes.

    Alan RayNo Gravatar

What organization could possibly “represent all taxpaying citizens’ perspectives and wishes”? I assume you mean the “perspective of zombies brainwashed by Fox Noise to fight for the wishes of the rich, rather than their own children’s well-being”.

Stop funding PBS because of something Oscar the Grouch said? You people should get a grip.
Anyone watch the National Parks series? Frontline? Nova?
You should try learning sometime instead of going nutty about a puppet. Looks like FOX has done a good job with their “Indoctrination for Dummies” programming.

Too late, bush and his neo-conmen began de-funding PBS and all other public programing starting with george the 1st. They direct the programing and censor the content, just to make it look bad ( so they can justify killing it off! )

Not to mention the main audience of ST. are children who are just learning to read and use the toilet. Get over it!

I can’t believe all the BS that people throw at PBS so what if they are liberal, Fox News is conservative, not to mention Fox News lies a lot.

    A. PBS IS NOT PAID for with our tax dollars. OH but the failed Iraq war was and the failing Afghanistan war is.

It is so sad that people can just laugh it off. Its a kids program for pete sake
