After Speaker Pelosi gave her sappy Teddycare speech and lied about how this $3 Trillion mega-bill would not increase the national deficit and would somehow create jobs…
Rep. Mark Souder (R-IN) broke up the Pelosi applause in a little over one minute.
Bummer. That took the wind out of Speaker Pelosi’s sails.
She won’t like that.

Nothing like an informed person to dismantle Nancy Pelosi’s lies.

I hope we hear more from Souder. He speaks the truth while Pelosi lies. I would be proud to live in his district. His 15% unemployment rate will not go down with this horrible plan which will wreck the economy even more and limit our choices. I could wring the neck of anyone who voted Democratic and could not possibly understand the dangerous power put in the hands of these lunatics. And that is what they are, elitists who live in theory. Who in the h*** do they expect to tax when the people cannot even get jobs?
Souder is correct by pointing out the fallacy of the governrnent doing all of this for our own good. We broke away from an autocratic system to govern ourselves. What have the tea parties illustrated? I believe they show peoples’ anger of the government taking over every aspect of our lives. And what is the reaction of the Democrats? A big yawn and a dismissal of our concerns. The colonists came to understand their issues were of no interest to the king. I do believe history is repeating itself.
I am a rational person, but I deeply believe the government is the actual terrorist organization we are facing. It doesn’t regard terrorism as terrorism; if it is killing of American soldiers on a base or the whittling away of our freedoms and crushing of our spirits, this government could care less. I am thinking Ron Paul is looking better every day.
I hope Souder and his constituents will do everything they can to prove this bill as being unconstitutional. How can you be taxed just because you exist? How can you be indebted to your country in this manner? At least the British were taxing on a commodity like tea, instead of the mere fact their colonists were alive. This is absolutely absurd.

The man sounds a little upset.
And I don’t blame him one bit. Because he is right.

Sounds like Rep. Souder knows what is what.
Shame the Progressives know nothing.
God help us all.

What else is irksome is that these jerk-faces are voting on the bill on the weekend. It is non-stop Big Government all the time, day and night, 24-7, 365. This is what we have to look forward to, having these people in our faces everywhere, forever and ever. Please, God, make them go away. Election 2010 cannot be here soon enough.

Elections have consequences. The people who voted for this crap are getting exactly what they deserve, as are those that threw tantrums and stayed home last November. Unfortunately, a lot of innocent bystanders will become collateral damage.

Touching:
Rep. Mark Souder wanted to address the hugely wasteful and onerous consequences of Fascist Nancy Pelosi’s ObamaCare bill.
One minute he was allowed. He was hardly able to get started before he was prevented from decrying the all of the outrages in Nancy 2000 page bill.
This is like a dark comedy of some medieval court.

The really funny thing about this whole absurd fiasco is that by preventing the public from learning what’s in the bill, the Democrats are not only guaranteeing that they’ll be removed from power, they’re also guaranteeing that there will be an unprecedented push to repeal this after it becomes law. When people find out just how onerous and restrictive it is, they’ll be beyond furious. We’ll have to invent a new word to describe the level of outrage.
Don’t buy the line that entitlements are impossible to repeal. There simply isn’t the money to do what the Dems want, and there’s no way to raise it without gutting our ability to make a comfortable living. Plus, the government will be unable to run health care efficiently. The Dems are forcing us to exchange a system we like for one that will be horrible, uncaring, expensive, and low quality.
Obama said today that the Dems have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to “reform” health care. That’s true. But what he and his party are also engendering is a once-in-a-lifetime level of rage from the electorate that will change the course of American history.

My decision to get out of the USW is constantly affirmed when I hear Pelosi claim to be for working families. The Democratic Party’s policies hurt working families, pure and simple. Let us just wait to see what Obama/PelosiCare and Cap and Trade do to the economy and working families. Union leadership is out of touch with union membership and the GOP need to work that angle.

At least we know Republicans DO get it! And that Souder can actually put it into words! Unfortunately, the deafness of the JackAsses is so loud it will drown out the voice of reason and reality.

I think it was Rep Steven King who brought up on C-Span yesterday. Not too many times in history was a Congressional vote in the House on a weekend; unless an act of war or some great emergency. What’s the rush? Why not wait until after Verterans Day, when maybe they will have some time to read the bill. Something going on here. And the o takes another vacation at our expense.
There seems to be no rush on sending our troops reenforcements while they are getting killed because of his ROEs.
There is just something so sinister going on with this admin…it’s almost air borne.

Atlas has PDF file on Page 32; Hasan was not in the audience, he was a member of the panel.
Homeland Security Policy Institute Statement on Nidal Hasan
In his capacity as Disaster & Preventive Psychiatry Fellow at the Uniformed Services University School of Medicine, Nidal Hasan registered (“RSVP’d”) to attend as an audience member a number of Homeland Security Policy Institute (HSPI) events in the period June 2008 to February 2009. All of these events were open to the public. At no time has Nidal Hasan been affiliated with HSPI or The George Washington University. HSPI Statement (pdf)

If I had ten bucks for everytime the words “the gentlemen’s time has expired” today, I would be able to afford my own health care. If this bill is so wonderful why wait until 2013 to enact it and why are government employees, congress and unions exempt from many of the “laws” in this bill.
This bill is crap and everyone knows it.

I have listened to the distortions made on the House Floor today by the Right Wingers who would like to deprive needy Americans of health care, to serve their own selfish interest. The irony of this is their claim to be pro life while our country ranks the lowest in the industrial world in preventing infant mortality! Also, they have seized the opportunity to capitalize on yesterdays unemployment rate of 10.2%. This argument reinforces the need for national health care. Do they realize that as the unemployment numbers rise, so does the number of people without health insurance!!!

Thisha “Robbie”
— as in robbing us all so you can feel good about yourself.
Unless you have read the 2,000-page bill, you are unqualified to say that “right-wingers” are “distorting” anything. But since you’re a lefty, facts mean nothing to you. What’s actually in the bill means nothing to you. What the bill results in doesn’t matter to you.
You just want to preen over how caring you are, because you don’t think it will cost you a cent.
About those unemployment stats: I guess you think it’s a great idea to raise taxes on small businesses, so unemployment continues to climb, so there will be more people who need the largesse that you are pulling out of other people’s pockets, and then you can preen even more.
It’s genius, I tell ya.
And where does the money come from? Where will the doctors come from? What about the medical technology that your pals in the jackal party plan to tax to death, like everything else?
How about growing a brain?

But, you can never take all of the wind out of that BIG BAG named Pelosi! That’s all she’s made of is WIND!
