And, Holder goes under the bus…
Barack Obama says he was not consulted on the terror suspect trial.

From the FOX Business Channel: Fox News’ Chris Wallace on Attorney General Eric Holder’s decision to hold a civilian trial in New York for the 9/11 terror suspects.

Are we really supposed to believe this?

You have two choices which funnels to one truth:

    1) Obama did not know, and is incompetent as a leader
    2) Obama did know, and is incompetent as a leader

    Truth: Obama is incompetent.

So, in other words, Obama is:

    1. Either completely our of control of his administration, or
    2. Lying.

Are we really to believe that the AG would NOT consult the POTUS on a matter of this monumental importance?

Leading a company or a country means “the buck stops here”. Leading a community organization means motivating the people but taking no responsiblity (except when things go well). We need a Commander-in-Chief not a Delegater-in-Chief.

“the AG would NOT consult” maybe obama is nothing but a false front – like the buildings in

Interesting….heard The One pontificating when a lowly Senator how Military Tribunals were places where suspects would have “all the bells and whistles” and defendent protections available, that these were good and noble things. He even stated his conviction that KSM was guilty and that justice would be served (usual passive tense and Liberal avoidence of demanding any specific, dire sentence… should have been a clue).

As with all of his other BS, that was then, this is now.

Even Holder’s convoluted explanation to Congress seemed to imply the tribunals are OK for some folks (already IN PROGRESS for KSM, but this adled adminstration canceled it), but not for others. Exactly how to choose was profoundly lacking.

This makes the old Keystone Cops look positively poised, polished and professional. Compared to this community-organizing Gang That Can’t Shoot Straight, they were!

I would have them under lock and key and have multiple copies. I would have an attorney with specific instructions to reveal the notes should somethng happen to me…associating with Obama is dangerous to your health and job.

    Obama is not lying.

Holder made the decision, and it was the type of decision that he was chosen to make. He is like Obama’s twin; no need to supervise him. He can be put on autopilot and deliver exactly what O wants:

    Drop the charges against Black Panther thugs;

    Drag Alberto Gonzales up for following the Constitution (firing U.S. attorneys);

    Prosecute Cheney, et al for war crimes;

Holder is not under the bus, Holder is co-piloting the bus.

“That is not the Jeremiah Wright that I knew”

“That is not the Eric Holder that I knew”

Obama, or his Chicago mentors, must have developed a Standard Tactic of plausible (to their acolytes and the MSM) deniability. Here it is again dragged wearily across the stage.

His whole campaign was devoted to shutting down Guantanamo. His standard excuse for the failure of nirvana to date under his administration is, blame Bush.

Holder’s ‘decision’ to bring KSM to NYC could not possibly have been unilateral by the AG’s office. The deniability of Obama’s involvement in this travesty is as implausible as it gets, and still he’s buffoonishly voting ‘present’.

The buck stops here, Mr. ‘President’. Live with it. Enjoy your show trial, it’s what you’ve lived for since Punahou.

The obvious comment of “This is not the Eric Holder I knew” won’t wash here; this is the result of no experience in anything wityh any substance. Community organizing does not prepare a person for ANYTHING in the real world let alone holding office.
Serious and intelligent voters considered that in 2008; image and feelings-based voters only considered his skin and “cool factor”. Voters should have to pass a test before being issued a voter registration card.
History will show BHO as the most incompetent and America-damaging president, thanks to the 52% who did not consider the facts of his abilities, radical indoctrination throughout his adult life and likely policy direction (of course there is a portion of that 52% who really liked where they thought he would take this country).
BHO is who he is, 100% of the fault lies at every person who voted for the lying radical bastard.
The only solution is for BHO to be removed from office by one way or another. I don’t wish harm on the man but I also don’t wish harm on my country which he does at EVERY TURN.

LaduePundit, yes, Governor Patterson said that he was told months ago by the White House that this trial was going to happen. Now, add to that Newsweak reporting that the Marshals Service began “risk” assessments months ago for holding the trial in New York and trying to determine how many security squads would be required to protect the trial participants, i.e. judge and jury.

So now we are to believe that Patterson was notified and the Marshalls Service put into action and the POTUS knew nothing?

If Barack Hussein Obama thinks this is going to make him look good to all those 9-11 families and FDNY firefighters he just stabbed in the back, he is wrong. It makes him look incompetent and out of control. Someone needs to dig up a “The Buck Stops Here” sign and put it on his desk.

I have thought for a long time that Obama is just eye candy for those who are really running the show. He is no more than the mouth piece of the mob, with the real Dons staying in Washington, running the nation, while he globe hops, contributing to the global warming problem he is so concerned about.

If you want to know who is really running the nation, look no further than David Axelrod and Rahm Emanuel. But they needed a front man, someone that would be putty in their hands, to run for POTUS because no one would even buy a used car from either of those guys.

Interestingly enough, it is the opinion of the not so civil servants at the Department of Justice that the President, much less the Attorney General, should not be involved in such decisions. They think that they run the government, not the elected Constitutional officers.

The Attorney General does not have sole authority to take prisoners of war – or ‘unlawful combatants’ – from military jurisdiction and try them in civilian courts.

His statement that Obama was not consulted can only be true in the sense that Holder already knew the president’s opinion, and therefore didn’t need to consult.

I’m a little curious. Just how is it that the attorney general (a trial lawyer with a fancy title and corner office) gets to take a prisoner of war (supposedly) away from the dept. of defense and their legally-constituted system of “military commissions?

One cabinet-level officer cannot infringe on the purview of another cabinet-level officer without the direct involvement of the potus.

If obama says that he knew nothing of this switch to a civilian court — he’s lying through his teeth.
Holder had to go to potus first with the plan and a request for the change of venue; and obama had to order Gates to suspend the “military commission” which was already trying ksm and to turn ksm over to the DoJ for a civilian trial.

Any other scenario is not possible.

    The potus is lying.

But then, what’s new about that?

    http://georgewbush-whitehouse.archives.gov/news/releases/2001/11/print/20011113-27.html

That is very clear as to who is the authority and who is responsible for detention, trial, etc

Obama’s UN Resolution to Stifle Free Speech on Islam

[On October 1, 2009, the Obama administration in conjunction with the Egyptian government, introduced an anti-free speech measure to the United Nation’s Human Rights Council (HRC). It was adopted the next day without a vote.

Little evidence suggests that Americans on either side of the aisle contemplated the US entering the ring and supporting the opposition’s anti-freedom measures. Yet now, the current administration has done worse: it’s leading the charge.]

will KSM link to Jihad/Islam even be

All of this trial business is a smokescreen for a bigger caper.

KSM wanted to be executed 11 months ago. He’s already plead guilty. There is no need for a trial.

KSM was never mirandized and a civil court judge could let him walk.

This trial is about something much larger–putting our government, military, and past administration officials on the gallows.

The healthcare plan–not about health OR insurance–but all about control.

Cap and Trade–not about greening the country, all about greening the pockets of liberals and controlling the means of production.

The liberals’ stars are aligned right now for a massive takeover. The conservatives of this country need to be the asteroid shower that rains on their parade.

[nf: I’ll bet you you were surprised when
President Obama had you come to New York.

KSM: I was. But, he’s given me everything I could possibly want – hundreds of millions of dollars of world-wide media and an almost completely open forum for hours each and every day.

I’m going to use it to jump start a new community organizing
program within the U.S. Muslim population that I like to call
    J.I.H.A.D.

KSM: Yes! it stands for Join In!

events like Major Hasan’s down in Texas a couple of weeks ago.]

Obama says there’s supposed to be a “firewall between the WH and the DOJ?” So, is that why the DOJ is representing Obama in his eligibility suit in Judge David Carter’s Fed Ct in California. This is not even representing Obama in any official capacity.

Go to thebravest.com and add your voices to the men and women of the NYPD and NYFD.
As a New Yorker, I do not want these terrorists on American soil.
Keep them in Cuba and let them stand trial there.

Keep Terrorists OUT of Civilian Courts

President Obama’s Administration has decided to bring the worst of the worst — the terrorists responsible for the tragedy of 9/11 — to American soil to stand trial. What’s worse, they are planning to take them out of the military justice system and try these terrorists in CIVILIAN courts — a dangerous move that will put our war on terrorism in jeopardy. Stand with the American Center for Law and Justice and support Sen. Lindsey Graham’s legislative effort to keep the terrorists OUT of civilian courts. Please read the form below carefully and declare your membership with the ACLJ by adding your name to our Petition to Keep Terrorists Out of Civilian Courts.

Chris Wallace is such a maggot – he makes me want to puke. The apple didn’t fall very far from the tree now did it.

Lord, How I miss Tony Snow.

I don’t even know why this conversation is going on between Imus and Chris Wallace other than Fox is somehow trying to pump some life into its Sunday Morning Show.

On its face the whole thing is pure bunk.

I can buy that BHO had no clue but I assure you all that Axelrod and friends – the puppet masters – knew all about it.

This is nothing less than a thinly veiled attempt to prosecute the Bush administration for war crimes. Clearly this is the kind of crap you see in third world banana republics where the new president has his predecessor executed on inauguration day.

To what end though? Is it worth it to attempt to destroy the Bush administration and the USA but lose the conviction of KSM?

Dear God, Please help us all.
