Thousands of fans waited in line to hear Sarah Palin in southern Missouri.
Several women spoke about their support for Sarah in this terrific video:

Her parents Chuck and Sally Heath joined her at the book signing. Sarah Palin will be in Arkansas tomorrow.

Tonight, over 5,000 Missourians packed the University of the Ozarks gymnasium to hear Sarah Palin speak.
The News Leader reported:

Palin told an estimated crowd of 5,000 packed in Keeter Gymnasium at College of the Ozarks that despite her resignation, she is moving on “in the battle with new strategy.”

Or as her father, Chuck Heath, put it: “He said after my resignation speech, ‘Ah, she’s not retreating, she’s reloading.’ ” A self-described “hockey mom” of five, Palin is an avid hunter.

Palin was the keynote speaker tonight during a convocation that honored World War II veterans and others connected to the private college with “Great American” awards. Palin was the inaugural recipient of the award for her contributions to promoting patriotism, said College of the Ozarks President Jerry Davis.

Silver Dollar City co-owner Sharon “Sherry” Herschend, an alumna of the school, was among seven people who received a Great American Award from the college. The military veterans participated in a program where they visited battlefields with students to teach the young people about sacrifices their elders made, Davis said.

As part of Palin’s speaking contract, College of the Ozarks sought to ban reporters from covering the speech. But the News-Leader and other local media outlets obtained free tickets and sent reporters to cover the speech from the bleachers.

This afternoon Sarah Palin spent 3 hours signing her book at a Borders in Springfield.

UPDATE: The state-run media is reporting tonight that Sarah Palin will not allow foreign reporters at her book signing event. Not true. This was a rumor started by Mall of America officials in Minnesota. The Palin camp never issued the statement. (See video above)

UPDATE: James Botts sent this video of Sarah Palin arriving in southern Missouri this morning:

UPDATE: The state-run media is not admitting that their “English only” reports were bogus.

I would love for Sarah to say to liberal media I will give you an interview if it stays unedited and if the same media /reporter do an indepth report of lets say Climate gate, Barney Frank screwing us with Fannie Mae, Barracks 35 or so czars, Natzi Pelosi’s /Harry Reids $300 million dollar bribe of Mary Landrieu etc etc etc. Put these slimy media on notice that she is willing to deal with their BS but they have to earn it and show they can still choke their bias down and do a bit of real investigative reporting. Or at least for every question they ask her she gets to ask them one question and answer honestly. Put these clowns on notice that bias reporting is gonna cost them and libs big time

Good catch! Yup, he’s a good little dude – and really lucky he’s got a Mom who respects life and a family that loves him.

Where is Todd? You never see him at the signings.

BTW Sarah will be our next president. She will eat Barry up and spit him out.

Maybe Palin should block domestic media from her events — only allow foreign outlets and citizen journalists.

The MSM have tried everything to strike her down and she only becomes stronger with each attempt.

They are now down to scraping the bottom of the bottom of the barrel to djinn up a “scandal” to pin on her.

It isn’t going to work because most Americans have finally figured out what we have been telling them all along-that the MSM is little more then the Corruptocrats propaganda wing. The ones who still haven’t figured that one out yet are the true bleu supporters of the Corruptocrats.

The little guy waves, and mom is down to earth, what could possibly be more American, and Christian than that. Beats the heck out of the Kenyan’s I, me, my, mine, diatribes.

Tell me who is more American and wholesome, and at the same time strong. I want her to run and win.

I must admit, sometimes it seems the only bright spot for our country is Sarah Palin. She has such a positive attitude, we could all learn from her!!

It’s a good thing men don’t cry or I would have been moved to tears watching little Trig waving and his Mom — our future President — as she arrived. What a coincidence that I got something in my eye at just that moment and had to dry off my glasses.

I like Sarah just fine… but I don’t think she would be a good president.

She doesn’t seem to be able to work well with anyone, and the last thing we need is a president who seems to excel at pissing people off and putting her own self interest (book tours) ahead of her country (or state).

Where in the world did you get that idea? Can’t work work others? Her constituents in Alaska gave her an 80% approval rate. Her staff loves her. Her successor is implementing her policies. She has hundreds of devoted friends in all walks of life. Until she was named the vice presidential candidate she got along very well with the Alaskan legislature. The only people who don’t like her are the criminals in the Alaskan legislature and sundry criminals associates, the corrupt republicans in Alaska, the democrats and press (but I repeat myself). I suggest you read and view too much MSN. It seems you actually believe the liars.
