Al Qaeda members and supporters in Yemen held a massive rally 4 days ago in a remote area of the poor Muslim country. The members declared war against the US just days before the attempted plane bombing on a flight from The Netherlands to Detroit. The plot to blow up an American passenger jet over Detroit was organized and launched by al Qaeda leaders in Yemen.
Men claiming to be leaders of al Qaeda have made a rare public appearance in Yemen, telling an anti-government rally the fight is against the US, not the country’s army. The statement was made at an al Qaeda training camp in southern Yemen – the same one that was attacked by the Americans leaving more than 30 dead. Al Jazeera’s Tarek Bazley has this exclusive report.

This news was buried. Then someone tried to blow up a plane. President B+ will have his myrmidons in the MSM bury it some more until a whole lot of Americans are killed. It’s obvious that the enemy within, Obama and his communist friends in Congress have dismantled our security in this country. It’s obvious they don’t take warnings seriously anylonger, Hassan, and now this. I’ve come to the conclusion that we can’t depend on the the most basic of Obama’s responsibilities under the Constitution being followed, and he is allowed to continue on this treasones path of his, and the democrats/communists. If this guy is not investigated and removed soon, many people are going to die because of him, and the traitors in Congress. All they care about is passing an unconstitutional health care bill, to honor a murderer Ted Kennedy.

There is no explanation how a person who allegedly has been on a suspected terrorist list, benn given an Ameircn Visa?
The Nigerian government, which is said to be corrupt by th MSM, did not issie the Visa, it ws the Americn government, that was responsible for letting this “suspicious terrorist”, get on the plane.

If these guys openly ‘declared war’ on us, doesn’t our federal government have a national security obligation to take them out?
Given our military superiority, eliminating this threat should be like an elephant stomping on a mouse. KABOOM. They meet the virgins before they get a chance to squeak.
If we don’t strike at least one target in Yemen in the next few days, one can only conclude that our government sees no obligation to protect us from an obvious threat.
On a more personal note, two of my kids will be flying off to college next year, flying home for vacations, on commercial flights. Will they face a greater threat in the air? Or more humiliating and time consuming ’security’ procedures?
Seeing those scrawny b words on YouTube gives me something to think about when I lift weights.

Our progressive brothers and sisters seem to think that somehow they and theirs will never be victims of terror. Appeasement is a sign of weakness, as Churchill tried to tell the progressive jackasses that humbled themselves before Hitler.
If 9/11 has gotten us to this place of passivity and appeasement, what will it take to move us to real action? It really is scary.

“We” are already pushing back in YN (Yemen)
in a variety of ways, with a variety of people.
Subs are putting TLAMs in people’s houses, and are being supported by Navy E-2s and UAVs above, and human intelligence assets on the ground.
Of various flavors.
Emphasis on “various flavors”. CIA HUMINT was hamstrung (Clinton administration), politicized (Bush administration) and promptly vilified and systematically destroyed (Obama administration).
DIA and JSOC human and signal intelligence outfits did not suffer the same fate. They’ve been kicking ass, and deserve much of the credit for every major intelligence success since mid-2002 forwards. These include Saddams capture, Zarqawi’s death, the Somalia raid this year, and the Pakistan/Baluchistan hits.
