The leaders of the Detroit undie bomber’s Al-Qaeda group are Gitmo Grads and may have been represented by Eric Holder’s firm before their release.

Two Gitmo grads rehabilitated in Saudi Arabia rejoined the jihad and made a movie earlier this year.

Former Guantanamo Bay detainee Abu Sufyan al-Azdi al-Shahri (right) and former Guantanamo Bay detainee Abu al-Hareth Muhammad al-Oufi appeared in a threatening Al-Qaeda movie earlier this year. Said Ali al-Shihri (or al-Shahri) passed through a Saudi rehabilitation program for former jihadists before resurfacing with Al Qaeda in Yemen. (AFP)

The two set up their base in Yemen.

This week Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, based in Yemen, claimed responsibility for Friday’s attempted bombing of a Delta Airlines plane as it approached Detroit on a flight from Amsterdam with almost 300 people on board. The terror group released its message on several Al-Qaeda-linked websites. Two former Gitmo grads lead this Al-Qaeda organization in Yemen.

There are questions on whether Eric Holder’s former law firm represented these Al-Qaeda leaders in Yemen who were the masterminds behind the attempted Christmas plane bombing.
Jammie Wearing Fool reported this from Pipeline News that Holder’s law firm may have represented the former Gitmo detainees who are Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula leaders.

There is an additional and intriguing angle involving Yemen, creating a confluence between, that country, Ft. Hood and the Obama administration, in that U.S. AG Holder’s former law firm, Covington & Burling, represented a number of Yemeni detainees who are/were being held in GITMO.

It was meddling by committed lefty attorneys which made military prosecution of the GITMO detainees so difficult. Relentless pressure applied by these advocates is what ultimately led to the Hamden decision [Hamden vs. Rumsfeld, 548 U.S. 557, 2006] in which the military tribunal system established by the Bush administration – relying upon long historical precedent – was overturned on a 5-3 Supreme Court decision, which for the first time in American history applied principles codified in the Geneva Accords to terrorists to which Geneva was long understood not to apply.

As we noted in a February piece [Former Partner Of Eric Holder's Law Firm Represents Cole Bomber And 14 Other GITMO Detainees, http://www.pipelinenews.org/index.cfm?page=holder1id=2.9.09%2Ehtm] the involvement in this process by Holder’s old law firm was substantial.

After a year in office we all know that Barack Obama is the most radical anti-American president in US history.
But the fact that his Attorney General’s former firm may have represented Al-Qaeda killers who are now planning attacks against innocent Americans takes it to a whole new level.

Yes. Obama, Holder, Jennings, et al are anti-American hate mongers. They wish to destroy The USA as we know it and transform it into a fascist state. They are quislings, pure and simple. Obama is just outright on the side of the terrorists. He wishes to destroy the Constitution. Many fools voted for him because of reverse racism or simple, short term greed. They were too stupid to realize the promised free money will be worthless paper.

How interesting and an example of how convoluted the left’s thinking is when it comes to morality. Remember, if there is no right or wrong, not ultimate accountability, then they feel free to set the rules as it suits them. In this case, they listen to their desires to be the gatekeepers of what they feel is moral. They argue that we are monsters for having the clarity to imprison real monsters. To them it is all an academic argument held inside air conditioned court rooms. I’ll bet the day they managed to get the release of the same Yemenis from Gitmo it was champagne all around. Now they are seeing what we have all seen for years.

We were the real gatekeepers and there really are monsters in the closet.

At this point in time I can only speculate, but …

The CIA is saying they received information on the undie-bomber that they passed on down the line.

Homeland security is saying that they do not actually add people to any of the ‘lists’, they simply apply those lists. A process reiterated by Napolitano on Sunday.

Apparently it is actually the justice department that is responsible for reviewing information from the CIA and applying it to the lists used by Homeland Security.

What this would mean, if my speculations are correct, is that the Obama justice department, led by Eric Holder, would be the group responsible for letting the undie-bomber fall through the cracks!

After watching Eric Holder expose his INCOMPETANCE at that senate hearing regarding moving terrorist trials to NY, I have no doubt he has ‘adjusted’ the evaluations of people being placed on those lists to suit his personal ideas of political correctness.

Eric Holder needs to be fired TODAY!

Everyone in Obamas whitehouse government is corrupt, from the lowly unpaid interns to the longlegged macdaddy himself. Holder isn’t any more or less corrupt then anyone else.

Umar Farouk is smiling pretty good in his jihadi yearbook picture.
He ain’t smiling anymore after his “firecracker” blewup accidently in his groin.
Luckily the US taxpayer is going to pay to have him surgically fixed for his next “jihadi” weekly picture. No obamacare for him, he will get the finest medical treatment available.

AG Eric Holder’s Law Firm Represented 18 Gitmo Detainees After Volunteering to Give Them Free Legal Assistance, Filed Endless
    Lawsuits in US Courts…

[(NRO)- Of all the infuriating aspects of the decision to transfer five 9/11 war criminals to civilian federal court, the one that grates most is the contention that the Obama administration is finally moving forward after “eight years of delay” — as Attorney General Eric Holder put it at his Friday press conference — during which the Bush administration managed to complete only three military-commission trials.

This is chutzpah writ large. The principal reason there were so few military trials is the tireless campaign conducted by leftist lawyers to derail military tribunals by challenging them in the courts. Many of those lawyers are now working for the Obama Justice Department. That includes Holder, whose firm, Covington & Burling, volunteered its services to at least 18 of America’s enemies in lawsuits they brought against the American people. (During 2007 alone, Covington contributed more than 3,000 hours of free, top-flight legal assistance to our enemy detainees.)]

This begs the question: Is KSM’s defense attorney from Holders lawfirm too? If it is, it would make sense that Holder, and Obama are so sure that he will be convicted; remember, KSM pled guilty in Gitmo already.
I do believe Holder, and Obama bringing KSM to NY is due to the fact, that they are muslim symphesisers, and want to ‘pay back whitey’.
They want to allow their muslim brothers to assure them that they are serious in bringing justice to the ‘Great satan’, and embarrassment.
    Treason, definately!

Whenever a liberal Democrat is found in the midst of something intolerable, we hear this. The subject is Holder, dear. Not lawyers of any affiliation who may be rotten.

“Lawyer” here is not the issue. Anti-American, terrorist-loving anarchist Eric Holder was all those things BEFORE he was a lawyer.

Ladue>> Had to step out and missed your reply, you are correct, but I think you missed my point, he is not only a lawyer but the Attorney General, and as such can guide and protect the Progressive agenda. And all you outline about him is correct and my suspicions lead me to suspect most lawyers in the same light. The major factories that flood this Nation with their kind are the Ivy League liberal pig pens that foster the rampant liberal hate that attacks America on every front. Nothing gets. done in this Nation unless lawyers put their stamp of approval on it, including what john you have in your home. This intrusive entanglement into our affairs is no accident. The revolving door policies allowed by using the court system against terrorist insures a constant cash flow for Holders old partners, and others. Yes there are honest hard working lawyers here but they are outnumbered and marginalized as any who buck the system. Look at the recent transfer of a attorney for justice who brought charges against Black Panthers for voter intimidation. This is without question about power, and lawyers are key to success. Yes an anarchist is dangerous but anarchist as a lawyer is even worst.
