(Big Warning On Content)
We all know how the state-run media feels about Barack Obama but still you’d there would be someone in the democrat-media complex who would be outraged over these Fistgate reports on Obama’s Safe Schools Czar Kevin Jennings.
Or, maybe they think that handing out fisting kits (or dental dam kits) and pushing children’s books that show adult men having sex while boy scouts watch to junior high students is acceptable? Maybe, like the folks at Media Matters, this is something they want for their children? Maybe that’s just how they roll? It is strange.
Yesterday we reported that Barack Obama’s Safe Schools Czar Kevin Jennings was promoting a children’s book that detailed first-graders having sex. But, it didn’t stop there. As founder and executive director of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) Jennings approved of and promoted several filthy sex books for children. Scott Baker from Breitbart-TV.com and Co-Host of ‘The B-Cast‘ submitted a shocking report to Gateway Pundit blog back on December 4, 2009. The report detailed the reading list promoted to 7-12 grade students by Kevin Jennings’ GLSEN organization. This material has not been reported in detail at Big Government website. Remember as you read this that Kevin Jennings is today the nation’s Safe Schools Czar.
Here is what Scott Baker had to say about this vile material being pushed on children.
Safe Schools Czar Kevin Jennings was the founder, and for many years, Executive Director of an organization called the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN). GLSEN started essentially as Jennings’ personal project and grew to become the culmination of his life’s work. And he was chosen by President Obama to be the nation’s Safe Schools Czar primarily because he had founded and led GLSEN (scroll for bio).
GLSEN’s stated mission is to empower gay youth in the schools and to stop harassment by other students. It encourages the formation of Gay Student Alliances and condemns the use of hateful words. GLSEN also strives to influence the educational curriculum to include materials which the group believes will increase tolerance of gay students and decrease bullying. To that end, GLSEN maintains a recommended reading list of books that it claims “furthers our mission to ensure safe schools for all students.” In other words, these are the books that GLSEN’s directors think all kids should be reading: gay kids should read them to raise their self-esteem, and straight kids should read them in order to become more aware and tolerant and stop bullying gay kids. Through GLSEN’s online ordering system, called “GLSEN BookLink,” featured prominently on their Web site, teachers can buy the books to use as required classroom assignments, or students can buy them to read on their own.
According to GLSEN’s own press releases from the period during which its recommended reading list was developed, the organization’s three areas of focus were creating “educational resources, public policy agenda, [and] student organizing programs”; in other words, the reading list (chief among its “educational resources”) was of prime importance in GLSEN’s efforts to influence the American educational system.
The list is divided into three main categories: books recommended for grades K-6; books recommended for grades 7-12; and books for teachers. (The books on the list span all genres: fiction, nonfiction, memoirs, even poetry.)
Out of curiosity to see exactly what kind of books Kevin Jennings and his organization think American students should be reading in school, our team chose a handful at random from the over 100 titles on GLSEN’s grades 7-12 list, and began reading through.
What we discovered shocked us. We were flabbergasted. Rendered speechless.
We were unprepared for what we encountered. Book after book after book contained stories and anecdotes that weren’t merely X-rated and pornographic, but which featured explicit descriptions of sex acts between pre-schoolers; stories that seemed to promote and recommend child-adult sexual relationships; stories of public masturbation, anal sex in restrooms, affairs between students and teachers, five-year-olds playing sex games, semen flying through the air. One memoir even praised becoming a prostitute as a way to increase one’s self-esteem. Above all, the books seemed to have less to do with promoting tolerance than with an unabashed attempt to indoctrinate students into a hyper-sexualized worldview.
We knew that unless we carefully documented what we were reading, the public would have a hard time accepting it. Mere descriptions on our part could not convey the emotional gut reaction one gets when seeing what Kevin Jennings wants kids to read as school assignments. So we began scanning pages from each of the books, and then made exact transcriptions of the relevant passages on each page.
For today’s report we give you another of of GLSEN’s recommended books for 7-12 graders. This one had pictures–

Could there really be any logical reason for recommending this book to children? Is this material really suitable for children? Is this supposed to build tolerance? Does this book really belong in our schools? Kevin Jennings thinks so.
Today Jennings is Barack Obama’s Safe Schools Czar.

That doesn’t look like TWO scouts to me. That looks like a scout and a scout LEADER. It looks very much like an ADULT male showing a boy child how gay men have sex. Have another look.

Those etchings are, unfortunately, etched into my mind since I saw them published in the Fistgate I and II posts here. If that’s how they affected me – a 45 year old woman, who, being single, has been around the block at least a couple of times – I imagine that more than a few of the teens who’ve seen them have been traumatized by them.
By the way, Scratcher is right. The first etching does not depict two Boy Scouts watching a couple of men. It plainly depicts an adult male Scout leader showing a Boy Scout how two men have sexual intercourse. (I suppose we’re supposed to be relieved that he’s not showing the kid how males fist one another. sigh…)

After I became an adult I found out that a man in our community had been turned down in his quest to become a Boy Scout leader, the man was later arrested as a pedophile. Chickenhawks look at the Boy Scouts as a “target rich environment” and the people who promote this are harming children, both boys and girls.

Give me a break! A six year old that comes to this blog to read. ??? Sure Have her join Build- A- Bearville or other childrens web sites that are controlled. She/He has no business coming to sites like this one. It’s an adult site to enform us about the realities in our country.
If you don’t like it take it out of your “favorites” section. Most of us can not read all of what is told to us here and that is what we chose. The main idea is to enform soooo go away Lib.

I think his point is valid. I’ve read the same story thru 9 different updates with no significant incremental value in each update. I’m an adult who is not easily offended, but the obsession with this fisting story borders on strange.
We got the point when I read the book excerpts. The constant stream of “UPDATE”s is continual echo from other pundits or news sources. Unfortunately, the problem is that this story started 9 years ago and not much else is coming out of it.

In the mid-80’s with the HIV/AIDS activism forming to bring in lesbians the gay male community had to get rid of the NAMBLA stuff. But I see now that they just moved in underground until they gained power & influence.
One thing: When my stepson was in high school the school started a ‘gay/straight student alliance’ -which somehow was associated with GLSEN. That group was a lifesaver for him He had already left one school because of harrassment and with this group things got better. We never let him go to any conference because we thought it would just be a big ‘hookup’ event. Little did we know what was really going on. If he went and this happened there would have been hell to pay. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.

pj, many things that start out with good intentions somehow morph into evil. GLSEN (by your account) and the ACLU come to mind right away. The ACLU was a lifesaver for blacks who were denied their right to vote during the civil rights movement. Now, it’s a supporter of pedophiles and other criminals, such as burglars who want to sue homeowners because they were hurt in the act of breaking and entering.
By the way, I’m glad your stepson survived high school (kids can be such monsters) and that he wasn’t allowed to attend any GLSEN conferences (things most likely would have taken a turn for the worst if he had).

I’ve got bad news for a lot of people here and I’m not presuming to talk down to you. The dinosaur media is filled with people who think this stuff is pretty neat, actually. Please reread my comment. I am not saying that my 6 year old daughter reads this blog, I do.
As far as my child having her own links, yes she has her own age appropriate links. But she is also a voracious reader so we have to be careful that she does not read inappropriate material.
What I am concerned with is reading or looking at this blog while there is a chance that she could read or see this graphic sexual material. In fact I am sick of looking at it myself!
All I am asking is to put the graphic information in a place where I can chose whether or not I want to read/view it.
I do want to congratulate you on being the first person in my life to call be a Lib. Rather than running down my pedigree let’s just say that was the cherry on top!

What would be your suggested timeframe for this to be relevant? Does jennings need to have endorsed this within the last 3 months? 6 months?
The bottom line is we know what kind of person he is and we know what kind of people would place him in more and more important positions of power.

I have posted on the HIV infection rate of gay men before and the stats are frightening:
“The U.S. Center for Disease Control has issued a fact sheet which says that 54% of HIV infections among males, aged 13-29, were caused by homosexual contact in 2006. This is opposed to 34% of infections caused by heterosexual contact in the same demographic.
“From 2001 through 2006, male-to-male sex was the largest HIV transmission category in the United States and the only one associated with an increasing number of HIV/AIDS diagnoses,” the fact sheet said.
The article further states that 77% of HIV positive homosexual men between the ages of 15 and 29 do not know that they are infected.
The demographic of young adult homosexual males between the ages of 13 and 29 is the only noticeably growing demographic in terms of HIV infection. The other age demographics seem reasonably stable in comparison says the CDC.”
It makes no sense to promote a lifestyle that is the leading cause of HIV infection.
