minarets
Libyan dictator Moamer Gaddafi says that the Swiss minaret ban invites attacks by Al-Qaeda on Europe. Gaddafi also said the ban on minarets will force Muslim countries to ban church construction.
The AFP reported, via Islam in Europe:

Libyan leader Moamer Kadhafi said the Swiss referendum banning the building of new minarets was an invitation for Al-Qaeda to launch attacks in Europe, the official news agency JANA reported on Sunday.

“They pretend they are ‘fighting Al-Qaeda and terrorism’ whereas in fact they have just rendered it the greatest service,” he said, referring to Switzerland with disdain as “the mafia of the world.”

On November 29, more than 57 percent of Swiss voters approved a rightwing motion to ban minarets on mosques, a decision that has sparked an international backlash and charges of intolerance.

“Al-Qaeda militants are now saying: ‘We warned you that they were our enemies… Look at what they are doing in Europe. Come and join us for a jihad (holy war) against Europe,’” Kadhafi said.

The Libyan leader, speaking at an academic ceremony on Saturday in Zliten, 160 kilometres (100 miles) east of Tripoli, said Muslim countries now had an argument not to allow the building of new churches.

“I don’t think anyone in the Muslim world will from now on authorise the construction of a church,” Kadhafi said.

In a recent poll 75% of Londoners also support a ban on minarets.

Hmmmm, banning minarets….NOT mosques, but minarets will prevent churches from being built in Muslim countries? So…..churches are being built now?

If Al Q attacks Switzerland, it will provide more fodder for the European right to prohibit muslims from emigrating to Switzerland……

When the middle east decides to allow religious freedom in their own countries, then they can be rebuilt.

    What is minaret in islam?

A minaret is a tower that adjoins a mosque. The original purpose of a minaret was to allow a muezzin to call people to prayer in that neighborhood. Some minarets are still functional in that regard although, with the use of public address systems, loud speakers today are frequently attached to the minaret instead. Most mosques have only one minaret, many of which are placed in the direction of the qibla, which shows the direction in which Muslims pray (toward the city of Makkah). However, some mosques may have more than one minaret. Minarets are also somewhat like church steeples in that people can tell from a distance which building is the mosque.

Obama Administration Stacking The Deck with Islamists

[Abdul-Malik also makes no bones about discussing how the election of President Obama is a step forward in the project of Islamization and the long term goal of Islamist domination which falls right in lock-step with that of the Muslim Brotherhood as revealed in their manifesto.

    [..]

“…even under the pressures that you and I know about, the deen of Islam is growing because people see even within all of this struggle it is better to be a Muslim under these conditions than to be a kaffir under any conditions… before Allah closes our eyes for the last time you will see Islam move from being the second largest religion in America-that’s where we are now- to being the first religion in America.”]

Obama’s UN Resolution to Stifle Free Speech on Islam

[On October 1, 2009, the Obama administration in conjunction with the Egyptian government, introduced an anti-free speech measure to the United Nation’s Human Rights Council (HRC). It was adopted the next day without a vote.]

Obama embracing and legitimizing the Muslim Brotherhood

[“And so you will I think see our administration be very clear in distinguishing between organizations like al Qaeda — that espouse violence, espouse terror and act on it — and people who may disagree with my administration and certain actions, or may have a particular viewpoint in terms of how their countries should develop. We can have legitimate disagreements but still be respectful.”

    [..]

The Ikhwan is the Muslim Brotherhood, the very same Ikhwan that penned a lengthy memo ‘on the General Strategic Goal for the Brotherhood in North America‘:

The Ikhwan must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and “sabotaging” its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions. Without this level of understanding, we are not up to this challenge and have not prepared ourselves for Jihad yet. It is a Muslim’s destiny to perform Jihad and work wherever he is and wherever he lands until the final hour comes, and there is no escape from that destiny except for those who chose to slack. But, would the slackers and the Mujahedeen be equal.]

    Obama Quietly Backing Muslim Brotherhood

[The world’s oldest and largest Islamic political group, the Muslim Brotherhood was founded by the Egyptian schoolteacher Hassan al-Banna in 1928. It spawned Al Qaeda, among other groups, and serves as the center of the global Islamist movement.]

hopefully they will attack Europe, lets see how the Europeans will respond. They always badmouth the US for retaliating when we are attacked, lets see if Europe will turn the other cheek.

Just don’t come asking the US to help you out, Europe has to sink or swim. If Europe is going to talk the talk, they need to walk the walk.

Gaddafi is becoming “loud” again now that Obama is in the whitehouse, he behaved himself when Reagan was in charged.

“Gaddafi Warns Switzerland That Minaret Ban Invites Al-Qaeda Attacks”

And the Swiss say”Bring it on, Babe!”. They can shut off Al Queda’s money in a heartbeat, and all other Muslim’s money, for that matter. Basic principle, don’t f&ck with the banker.
