Sad to see what Obama does to America. Who ever voted for him deserves to pay for. I feel sorry for everybody who did NOT voted for Obama, but you still have to pay too.
Merry Christmas and a happy 2010.

2010 Congressional Elections Update:
Republican Rudy Guliani has decided not to run for U.S. Senator of New York,
so I have updated my list.
—————————————————
U.S. HOUSE: Dems=258, Repubs=177, Republicans need a 41 seat net-gain,
to take the House in 2010, and to have the majority of votes needed
to elect Republican John Boehner, as the new Republican Speaker of the House,
and boot Nancy Pelosi out as the Speaker.
(takes 218 out of 435 seats to make a majority in the House)
In the 1994 Republican Revolution, House Republicans picked up 54 seats.
All of the House is up for reelection in 2010,
so all Democrats can be voted out in 2010.
———————————————————
U.S. SENATE: Dems=58, Repubs=40, Independents=2
(Bernie Sanders and Joe Lieberman)
Roughly 1/3 of the Senate is up for reelection every 2 years.
37 Senators are up for reelection in 2010, and of those 37,
19 are Democrats, and 18 are Republicans.
Republicans need a net-gain of 20 seats to have the
60 cloture-vote margin (filibuster-proof) to pass legislation.
Normally the Senate only needs 51 votes to pass bi-partisan legislation,
but with politics being so polarized, you really need 60 votes in the Senate to overcome filibusters.
The Republicans will only need a net gain of 11 seats,
for a total of 51 Republican Senators, to win the Senate Majority,
and vote in Conservative Republican Jim DeMint as the new
Republican Leader of the Senate, and boot out Mitch McConnell, as the worthless Republican Leader.
There are only 19 Democrats up for reelection in 2010 to beat,
so the other 1 added Senate seat, to have a filibuster-proof majority, will have to be done in 2012.
It is likely that a Republican Congress would not be able to overcome
vetoes from President Obama, with the required 2/3 majority votes.
In the 1994 Republican Revolution, Senate Republicans picked up 8 seats.
———————————————————
Even with a Republican sweep in 2010, it will most likely take the 2012
Congressional elections, along with a Conservative Republican President,
to give Congress the ability to pass legislation, that begins fixing the damage
that has been done to America by the Democrats (Repeal Obamacare, Cap and Trade, etc).
This is due to the fact that it takes a 2/3-majority-vote in each Chamber (2/3 of total present),
to override President Obama’s veto power. This would be a maximum of 290 votes in the House,
which is unlikely, and 67 votes in the Senate. If Sarah Palin, Mitt Romney, or Tim Pawlenty
were elected President in 2012, a Republican Congress would be able to begin fixing
what the Democrats have destroyed in America.
———————————————————
List of the 19 Senate Democrats up for
reelection or retiring in 2010:
-Ted Kaufman (D) of Delaware (Repubs Mike
Castle and Christine O’Donnell challenging)
-Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas (Repubs Gilbert
Baker, Curtis Coleman, Tom Cox, Fred Ramey,
Conrad Reynolds, and Buddy Rogers, and Kim
Hendren challenging)
-Barbara Boxer of California (Repubs Chuck
DeVore and Carly Fiorina-rino? challenging)
-Michael Bennet of Colorado (Repubs Jane
Norton, Ken Buck, Cleve Tidwell, Luke Korkowski,
and Tom Weins challenging)
-Christopher Dodd of Connecticut (Repubs Rob
Simmons, Peter Schiff, and Linda McMahon are challenging)
-Daniel Inouye of Hawaii (Repub Gov. Linda Lingle possible challenger)
-Roland Burris of Illinois (Repubs Mark Kirk, Patrick Hughes,
John Arrington, Donald Lowery, and Kathleen Thomas challenging)
-Evan Bayh of Indiana (Repubs John Hostettler, Marlin Stutzman,
Richard Behney, and Don Bates Jr. challenging)
-Barbara Mikulski of Maryland (Repub challengers, Daniel McAndrew,
Jim Rutledge, Eric Wargotz, and Corrogan Vaughn)
-Paul G. Kirk Of Massachusetts (Special election held in Jan 2010,
Republican challenger Scott P. Brown)
-Harry Reid of Nevada (Repub challengers Dan Tarkanian,
Mark Amodei, John Chachas, Mark Noonan,
Bill Parson, Mike Wiley Greg Dagani, Robin Titus,
Sharron Angle and Sue Lowden)
-Kirsten Gillibrand of New York (Possible Repub challenger Liz Feld)
-Chuck Schumer of New York (Repub challenger Martin Chicon)
-Byron Dorgan of North Dakota (Repub challengers Paul Sorum, and Duane Sand)
-Ron Wyden of Oregon (possible Repub challenger Ron Wyden)
-Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania (Repub challengers Pat Toomey,
Larry Murphy, Peg Luksik, and Robert Townsend)
-Patrick Leahy of Vermont (Repub challenger Len Britton)
-Patty Murray of Washington (Repub challengers Wayne Glover,
Sean Salazar, Scott Johnson, Rod Reiger, Craig Williams, and Arthur Coday )
-Russ Feingold of Wisconsin (Repub challengers Dave Westlake, and Terrence Wall)
—————————————————-
There are many other elections that have good Conservative
and Republican candidates running, in all of the 50 States.
Seek them out, research them, and join with other conservatives
to get the word out, and let’s flip the House and Senate in 2010,
and restore freedom and liberty to America.
—————————————————-
If anyone notices incorrect, or missing Republican Candidates
from my list, post a reply, and I will research it and make changes.
Thanks, Patriotic.
