Sarah Palin responded to bankrupt California Governor Schwarzenegger after his attacks yesterday from the freezing cold global junk science conference in Copenhagen.
From her Facebook page:

Why is Governor Schwarzenegger pushing for the same sorts of policies in Copenhagen that have helped drive his state into record deficits and unemployment? Perhaps he will recall that I live in our nation’s only Arctic state and that I was among the first governors to create a sub-cabinet to deal specifically with climate change. While I and all Alaskans witness the impacts of changes in weather patterns firsthand, I have repeatedly said that we can’t primarily blame man’s activities for those changes. And while I did look for practical responses to those changes, what I didn’t do was hamstring Alaska’s job creators with burdensome regulations so that I could act “greener than thou” when talking to reporters.

I always wondered how ol’ Schwarzie and Maria Shriver could be happily married, what with one being a devout Democrat and the other a Republican politician. Now I know the truth: he’s a RINO, an libtard to the max who only calls himself a Republican.

By the way, my money’s on Palin.

There are three tip-offs that the opinion you are listening to is one from the Left. They are the phrases “environmental concern,” “controlling costs” and the word, “sustainability.”

Any of these words signal that the speaker has absolutely no idea of how market forces work to insure that the demands of the consumer are met by the producer.

Mandates are the approved tool for overcoming market forces. Mandates protect the environment, control costs and provide sustainability. Mandates are good. Market forces are bad.

Sarah is correct in her reasoned position.
Arnold lost his manhood and his critical thinking ability when he married into the Kennedy clan.

It seems to be endemic of people in Hollywood to be for Capitalism while scratching their way to the top, only to become Socialists once the money is in the bank. Of course none of their big blockbusters could ever be pulled off without Capitalists, even the artsy films would have a hard time without Government tax money. They open their mouths and remove all doubt.

CA is such a wreck, but believe it or not this has everything to do with capitalism. CA is the seat of all the green tech businesses. If solar/wind tech gets widely adopted thru climate change headlines, Arnie gets ppl back in jobs and nets some money for his financially wrecked state. While I don’t think a Governor should even be involved in a meeting of foreign dignitaries, at least his actions make sense (though I don’t agree with him).

The photos are total irony. Awesome juxposition.

The big bad guy with a gun is ultimately a total fake. Even the muscles were developed JUST for show, not suitable for actual work purposes. The huge guns, all fakes. The Uber-poseur. Arnold posed his way to governor, looking good, but he’s performance has proved he’s not much more than an oversized blow-up doll.

The petite woman has a REAL gun and can SHOOT it and has been living in America’s last genuine frontier, posing doesn’t get far in Alaska – it’s too extreme a physical environment. She’s small, but she’s solid gold.

Arnold is a disaster, for certain.

However, again, Mrs. Palin here, reveals the less than ideal conservative many have created about her in the Iconic sense. She actually steps back, and promotes that she has acted in a political pr sense, having created a ‘climate change’ panel in Alaska. That she accepts the once referenced ‘global warming’ issue as sincere. This is not a rebuke of the swindle. She actually played the old Maverick political juggle in this post.

When it was popular, she acted to create another government arm, to address this issue with some image of doing something. Now that it is clear, the savvy have revealed the swindle, and the weather has not cooperated with the ‘global warming’ crooks, Mrs. Palin is playing to the other side in an even more overt manner. It is not a good sign.
Those cheering Mrs. Palin with this offering, are ignoring the content of her offering.

Do Conservatives think creating ‘climate change’ governmental ’sub-cabinets’ is a now good idea? Because Mrs. Palin has done it? This is a sign Mrs. Palin is a bit of a bureaucrat. This is what Democrats do, like Obama, to avoid making the decisions themselves. It is growing government. She could have gotten a volunteer gathering of the Private Sector to focus on the issue. Then the elected make the decisions themselves.

Sorry, but the fashion is blinding some on the actual content. Maybe their angst with other Republicans who have taken sound steps, which do not exactly fit the ‘conservative purity’ peddled these days, should be reconsidered.

The image problem is evident however. The vapid Terminator smacked at it, primarily because he too is playing at popularity for personal gain (he knows it well). All of these politicians have a certain overt ambition, including Mrs. Palin, who took the Maverick VP Candidacy perhaps when she should have been more patient. Not only because she embraced so many ‘whatever is fashionable’ political embraces provided by John McCain, but also, because she simply wasn’t ready for it.

The problem with image is apparent. If you play simply to a fashion, including a well intended Conservative ‘echo chamber’, you end up being easily stereotyped. Arnold smacks at this simplistic image, which is far too easy to label.

Unfortunately, we also see a desire for Mrs. Palin to respond to every little nonsense attack by some vapid person, including a very poor actor named Mr. Shatner. It simply is not Presidential.

Mrs. Palin should have provided more ‘rise above’ strength. She could have made light of Gov. S’s harsh commentary, suggesting she would be more than happy to meet with the Gov. of California, to discuss the issues. She should be aggressively working to encourage more to her side, not creating a division.

    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

So, you didn’t find that bit at all funny? It was not done as a serious response to anything that Shatner had said or done – but as a lark; and all in a spirit of good fun. Get a grip, dude! Fun is just fun. Some people have it — and others don’t seem to be able to recognize it at all.
btw: Palin isn’t the president (yet).

If you want to worry about someone not appearing “presidential”, you could start with obama appearing on Leno and letterman and the Oprah show, for God’s sake! Not to mention his bowing to every foreign head of state who’ll stand still long enough.

And yes, we picked up on your dislike of Palin – just as we have every other time you’ve referenced her.

Sarah’s reason for creating a climate change panel was ‘control and independant facts’.

Sarah created several panels. The purpose was to have INDIVIDUAL state information and facts, instead of being told by someone in Washington D.C. what they ‘thought’ was happening in our back yards from 5,000 miles away.
Alaska has 45% of the world glaciers. It doesn’t take much observation from Alaskans to see Alaska’s glaciers are doing fine. Scientists come to the state and leave with horror stories today and print them as facts tomorrow. Many of times never leaving the hotel room.
It is because of this ‘climate panel’ she had the FACTS on Alaskan Polar Bears that were completely contradictory of the Fed’s Junk Science. Alaska has now filed a suit agaisnt the Feds based on these facts. Had the panel not existed she wouldn’t be armed with the facts that contradict ‘junk science’.

Why doesn’t Mrs. Palin shut her mouth and read the bible?

Ephesians 5:22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

This is a Christian Nation Sarah! Ask Todd before you speak so as to not bring shame unto yourself, the church, and your family.

I would gladly see the US spend a billion dollars conducting further studies and bankrolling data retrieval efforts and all that other junk if it kept the EPA from regulating the gas that is one of two hinges of the cycle of life itself (CO2, natch, with the other being O2) and destroying two trillion dollars worth of jobs over the next ten years.

Pat Robertson…..a public school education is good to show that you can read…..but you missed the class on ‘comprehension’.

As to how an insecure little boy would misread those scriptures and get ‘a woman should shut her mouth’.

Insecure little boys that want to keep women suppressed should not read the Bible but the Koran….next you’ll be slamming her for not wearing a burka.

In reply to Brooklyn’s assertion that Palin’s rebuttal’s are “not Presidential”: Palin must respond immediately to all broadsides on her record or character before the MSM can get hold of it and blow it up into Tina Fey material. Each time she has done so, Palin has defeated their argument, diminished her critic, and thwarted the meme.

This has made me think of just how evil the koran is.
HQ 33:59 says “O Prophet! Tell thy wives and thy daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks close round them (when they go out). That will be better, so that they may be recognized and not be annoyed.”

Preposterous, a simple cloak. And to think rocognizing a woman. “Annoyed”, to think a woman can feel anything but obedience toward a man. We have seen through sluts like Brittny Spears and Madonna the islamification of America. Notice I will not capitilize the “i” word.

    Dear ‘Pat Robertson’:

    Read Judges Chapter 4.
God sent DEBORAH to be judge and leader of the Israelites (personally, I believe in part it was because the MEN were not following God and showing leadership as they should have been — kinda’ like NOW.)

And I believe God may be sending us another Deborah now, and her name is Sarah Palin.

And you know the name of Deborah’s (not so brave) commander? B A R A K (see Judges 4:6).

But I do appreciate the encouragement to Read our Bibles! Always a good plan.
