Obama’s Jokers are voting to nationalize health care tonight.
At 1:00 AM Monday, December 21, the Senate will proceed to a cloture vote on the Reid-Baucus-Dodd-Harkin amendment #2376.

Claire McCaskill — Don’t Think We Will Forget This.

We can’t stop them from passing their radical, unpopular, rationed health care legislation but we can promise them this:

We promise to actively and openly campaign against every democrat who votes for this bill no matter if you are a red state democrat or a blue state democrat.

We promise to forever kill the myth that there is such a creature as a bluedog democrat.

We promise to donate to campaigns to defeat the democrats who vote for this radical expansion of the federal government.

We promise to make it known how you bought your votes with our taxpayer money to pass this bill.

We promise that we will never forget how your party leaders and your state-run media called Americans who opposed this lousy nationalized health care bill – mobsters, radicals, Nazis and teabaggers.

We promise to  never forget that you voted to force taxpayers to fund abortion by voting for this bill and that your bill requires a monthly abortion fee.

We promise to never forget that your plan allows for government coverage of illegal aliens.

We promise to attend your town hall meetings and confront you about your vote to takeover one-sixth of the nation’s economy. Not even your SEIU and ACORN thugs will keep us away.

We promise to let Americans and seniors know that democrats just cut $470 billion from their Medicare.

We promise to let Americans know that you voted to ration their health care.

We promise to NEVER FORGET that you voted against the wishes of the people you represent.

After years of trying, I believe we are close to achieving most of the goals for health insurance reform for Arkansas that I pledged to support in the beginning and without compromising my fiscal goals by adding to the deficit or creating a public option government health care plan that would be underwritten by taxpayers.” (Sen. SEN. CLAIRE MCCASKILL (D-MO): “If We’re Not Saving More Money For Our Government Than We’re Spending, Then Not Only Will I Not Support It.”
Q: “No, you’re saying if this doesn’t bend the cost curve, you go back to the drawing board, start all over?” SEN. CLAIRE MCCASKILL (D-MO): “My statement all along is it has to slow down the increase of health care costs over time, and that is bending the cost curve, and secondly, that it has to be deficit neutral.     Texas Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison was one of three opposition senators (along with Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe) to cast a vote against a legislative filibuster on Friday on Health Care.

    I do not care if they voted against it or not, I will vote against and campaign against any and all Democrats. Those that voted against it did for cover. Do not make the mistake of separating them into different camps. They are all part of the same evil machine or else they would not be Democrats.

    I’ve been both a registered Republican and Democrat. At this moment, I’m still a registered Democrat, although one that did not vote for Obama. While watching this horror show of an administration, I promised myself to NEVER vote for another Democrat. I’ve often wondered if anyone else has made the same vow.

    Does anyone know if Webb has made any remarks about which way he’s voting?

    From what I’ve read it doesn’t seem as if he’s given a certain answer one way or another. It’s likely that he’ll vote for the bill, but given the massive swing in VA politics he has to be worried.

    It would seem that if people are targeting particular senators for the rest of today they may want to call his office.

    Ms. McCaskill is one of the most pathetic people on the planet. I will never forget seeing the campaign for Obama, everywhere he was, there was Claire’s legs hanging out of his tush, as her head was buried there.
    She does not care, as she knows that Missouri is a 50/50 state, that Robin Carnahan, another witch will soon join her after Kit Bond retires.
    These people have no souls, just politics in their life. BTW, I am taking bets on when Claire announces she is running for president in 2016. It is coming.
    She knows my name very well in Missouri, and she will continue to know it. I have shown many Missouri Demonrats what she has done, as they never seem to track it. Bottom line in Missouri; if Satan were running for office, he would get at least 48% of the vote.

    I’ve written 2 letters and an email to McCaskill, beginning when TARP was passed in October 2008. I also tried to call her D.C. office but the voicemail was jammed and I couldn’t leave a message.

    Neither she nor her staffers have acknowledged a single correspondence. Comapre that to my Republican representative (Graves), who I called about TARP and wrote a letter about healthcare. His office acknowledged both of my contacts to his office with a letter back explaining his position and how he expected to vote.

    So, in terms of responsiveness to constituents:

    McCaskill is 0 for 4; and Graves is 2 for 2.

    Her arrogance and putting her party ahead of the wishes of Missourians is disgraceful. I don’t care who the Republicans run against her, I look forward with pleasure to her defeat 2012 and will do whatever I can to make it happen.

    By all means, try to pressure McCaskill for the next few hours until the vote. But after that, we need to be focused on getting Roy Blunt elected to the Senate in 2010. The Carnahans are just as liberal as McCaskill. We need to get Roy Blunt elected in 2010 then focus on defeating McCaskill in 2012.

    Speaking of Robin Carnahan, Election Day 2010 is less than one year away and Missouri Secretary of State, Robin Carnahan, is running for the U. S. Senate.

    According to Section 14, Article IV, EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT – of our Missouri Constitution, the Secretary of State is custodian of records, and documents and performs duties in relation to elections and corporations,.

    Being a candidate in an election that you are required to oversee is a serious conflict of interest. Isn’t it time she resigned from her state executive position? After all, you can’t referee the game you’re playing in.

    Why don’t you promise to do something positive like cut the cost of health care and lower the administrative costs of health insurance and allow us to by drugs from other countries and allow cross state purchasing of health care insurance. Maybe then I’ll believe Republicans are something different than they were during Bush. When the never saw a tax cut or a spending plan they didn’t like and we ran hugh deficits. You don’t impress me with your anti democrat screed. Where on the ballot is non of the above.

    Tinman – Right now, I wouldn’t take the bet.

    I’ve been saying that basic thing since 4 November 2008 – That we’ve seen the last open national general election in our country.

    My business partner had her daughters stay home from school on 20 January specifically so she could watch with them what she calls to this day, ‘the inauguration of the last president of the USA’.

    Some people see it…… We’re still called crazy, racist, bigoted, tin-foil-hat-wearers, etc…….

    I pray daily and nightly that I’m wrong…. beyond wrong…… But everything is adding up and coming to a head faster than even I and others thought would happen.

    (takes 218 out of 435 seats to make a majority
    in the House)
    In the 1994 Republican Revolution, House
    Republicans picked up 54 seats.
    All of the House is up for reelection in 2010,
    so all Democrats can be voted out in 2010.

    (Bernie Sanders and Joe Lieberman)
    Roughly 1/3 of the Senate is up for reelection every 2 years.
    37 Senators are up for reelection in 2010, and
    of those 37, 19 are Democrats, and 18 are
    Republicans.
    Republicans need to lose no Senate
    Seats in 2010, and beat 20 Dems (gain 20 Senate seats)to have the 60 cloture-vote margin (filibuster-proof) to pass
    legislation, but there are only 19 Democrats
    up for reelection in 2010 to beat, so the
    other 1 added Senate seat will have to be
    done in 2012, if Joe Lieberman, the
    Independent moderate, does not caucus (vote)
    with them on enough legislation.
    If the Republicans pick up all 19 Democrats Senate seats, and lose no Republican Senate Seats in 2010, they will have the Independent Senator Joe Lieberman, who caucuses (votes) with them some of the time, to give them the 60 Senate votes the Republicans need to pass some legislation in 2010.
    In the 1994 Republican Revolution, Senate
    Republicans picked up 8 seats.

    Even with a Republican sweep in 2010, it will most likely take the 2012 Congressional elections, along with a conservative Republican President, to give Congress the ability to pass legislation, that begins fixing the damage that has been done to America. This is due to the fact that it takes a 2/3 majority vote in each Chamber, to override President Obama’s veto power. This would be 290 votes in the House, which is unlikely, and 60 votes in the Senate. A Sarah Palin, Mitt Romney, or Tim Pawlenty as President in 2012 would be a continuation of restoring sanity to America.

    I hope our military leaders are watching. It is time for tanks to surround the Whitehouse.

    I think we all need to Boycott the State of Union speech as well.

    Oh please…spare the drama for your momma. Until we take to the streets and physically scare these politicians to listen to us then its futile to “vote.” I mean..we tried that already…more than once right? They are laughing at us…laughing all the way to the bank because they know at this point the American people will do nothing. Politicians in lesser countries have ousted their leaders, physically if needed, for less crap than what’s being pulled today…just look at the political history of Mexico. What do we do? Blog. Send Tweets. WTFE. Politely march on Washington. Politicians should be scared of the people but in this case they aren’t, it’s almost the other way around. Till we send a clear cut message, and at this point one that has to take to the streets, they will continue to laugh. So you can talk all this nonsense if you want but I think at this point it’s beyond voting, we have to take this to Washington.

    Most thefts occur in the early morning hours. I predict the Dems will loose at least 50 house seats and probably 8 to 10 Senate. These people are depending on Obama appointing them to ambassadorships after they loose their seats but he will not be re-elected himself, even with the most egregious acorn and SEIU vote fraud.     First item is to promote candidates for midterms that will work to repeal this legislative carbuncle.

    Next, the states can should threaten to call a constitutional convention on the proposal that since Congress cannot exercise its power responsibly then we will do it for them.

    First thing is amend Article V where only the states can call for a constitutional convention so the fox cannot access the hen house.

    The second is specifically define the scope of the interstate commerce and general welfare clauses since they are being abused as an all-encompassing excuse to do any damn thing they want.

    Thirdly, create a national petition of recall where collectively the states can force the removal of a single state’s representative since their actions affect us collectively once in national office.

    Lastly, require full disclosure for a presidential candidate to prove eligibility and allow all past records be subject to FOIA. No more sealing of records while in public institutions.

    The only vote that matters is the cloture vote. If they gain cloture, then Webb, Lincoln, Nelson, and up to six other Democrats will be allowed to vote NO so they can say they opposed the bill when they next come up for election.

    I will promise to never forget how the Grand Old Party , the party of values, for last 20 years stood by the big business of medical care and said to hell with the general public. If you want medical coverage get a second or third job or put your wife to work! All of those free health clinics were all staged where people not seeing a dentist for 5 years were only telling a bunch of lies! After all spending a trillion dollars on the most useless of wars is far more important than providing general healthcare. We can’t be like a bunch of lazy europeans! Why is it only those who are better off and have healthcare are the first to reject the call for help of others via healthcare stating that it was their choice or decision that put themselves in their predicament? Perhaps it was their fine christian/Judea upbringing that produced such twisted logic? There is something bizarre when we call for the end to abortion and euthanasia and then leave out life’s journey itself. By the way the very first sentence of the preamble states that it is the duty of the government to provide for the general welfare of its citizens.

    Doesn’t really matter what these 4 dems do. It only takes a simple majority to pass. Any 9 dems can vote against it and then make the claim when they are up for re-election. In reality they voted for it when they gathered the 60 votes to send it to the floor. In the words of John Kerry, they will claim that “first I voted for it, then I voted against it”. Don’t let any dems get away with this when the elections roll around!

    Sort of. Read the whole sentence:

    We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

    Then the Articles spell out how those things are to be done. And nowhere in any of those articles is government provided health care mentioned or promised.

    ‘Health care for all’ is not a right; it is slavery

    For Americans, the Declaration of Independence codifies man’s unalienable, individual rights.

    These rights are life, liberty, property, and the pursuit of happiness. And that is the complete list of rights to which citizens are entitled.

    There is no right to a Whopper with Cheese at the local Burger King; no right to a free month of rent at the Lakeview Luxury Apartments; or even free Chemotherapy treatments should you need them.

    Why did the Declaration limit our rights to life, liberty, property, and the pursuit of happiness? Because legitimate rights provide freedom for citizens to act, not to receive free shelter, food, medical treatment or big-screen televisions.

    0f course health care is not mentioned in the Constitution nor is the use of assault guns and saturday night specials mentioned in the second amendment that the gun nuts insist are needed to ensure that their rights are secure.. The document was written a few years ago. To use a means of protecting and promoting the general welfare of its citizens via a new methodology now available is only proper and the correct use of that resource. By the way for Chisum do you deserve the use of the public works such as roads, sewer , water, fire fighters of your community that are funded by perhaps less than .01% by your taxes? The entire society has to provide the necessities to make it affordable and available to all citizens. This includes health care already provided to our veterans who I believe think it is a good system.
