Joe Wilson was right.
For the second time since his speech where he promised that abortion funding would not be included in the dem’s nationalized health care plan, President Obama lobbied democrats to add the funding to the Obamacare bill this past weekend.
Life News reported:
President Barack Obama told the American people in a national speech in September that “my” health care plan would not include taxpayer funding of abortion. Obama broke that pledge once by lobbying members of the House to support a pro-abortion funding bill and he did it again this weekend in the Senate.
Obama met with Senate Democrats in a closed door session on Sunday and told them to support the Harry Reid-sponsored bill that includes massive abortion funding and could force insurance companies to cover abortions with taxpayer’s premiums.
Although the media wasn’t allowed into the event, senators described the speech as one in which Obama asked them for their votes for the bill and said voting for the legislation was a historic opportunity.
Of course, this surprises no one.

This brings into focus another reason why Obama vastly prefers to deal with the Liberal media to the exclusion of FOX. FOX would, if they ever had a chance, do a much better job of making Obama accountable for his contradictory statements and actions. The Liberal media not so much, or, in the case of this abortion issue, absolutely not at all.

After being pushed by the rest of the world Obama will announce that Carbon Dioxide is a dangerous polutant forcing big business to make enormous changes and prices to go sky high. He is going to do this without Congressional approval because he feels the EPA has right to make this change. Not so says Dem Senator Webb and the fight with Congressional Dems has begun. WaPo recently ran an article about a woman who aborted 12 pregnancies and then conceived and gave birth to two final children.. If pro-lifers insist the tax-funded dollars are going to fund abortions–despite evidence to the contrary provided by democrats and others–then perhaps these pro-lifers should counter that evidence with their own, instead of simply calling democrats “liars.”
Unless you as a citizen can physically for yourself trace step-by-step where your tax dollar goes, (and you can’t, by the way–it’s more complicated than that), you are not in a position to say that folks are lying.
Yes, there are people in this world who are pro-choice, but still believe public funds shouldn’t fund abortion. I’m one of them. I believe Obama is, too. And when Obama and democrats and others say that they’re carving out a plan which will still provide ACCESS to a legal procedure–without those public dollars–then I’ll observe and follow their progress as best as possible, and give them the benefit of the doubt BEFORE calling them liars.
