Another stunner from the Obama White House.
BHO and his family will skip Christmas services this year.
Evidently, Rev. Jeremiah G-D AmeriKKKa Wright was not holding services in the DC area tonight.

But they did put up a Christmas Tree…

…Complete with Mao Tse-Tung balls.
Canada Free Press reported:

A writer for TIME magazine reports that the president and his family are not attending Christmas services. Gee, what a surprise! Barack Hussein Obama has consistently shown his lack of understanding of the Holy Bible, his disdain for the spiritual meaning of Christmas (no Nativity crèche in the White House), and his propensity to bow to Muslim leaders.

But the fact is that NO TRUE CHRISTIAN can support abortion and the federal funding thereof. Don’t give me the “representative of the majority” nonsense. Here we sit on the precipice of the massive mountain of federal control of the health care system in America.  The vast majority, liberals included, are against this thievery—yet the arrogance of Washington and the Democratic sleaze presses on in total disregard of the American public it should be serving.

The Constitution is in the shredder and has been since the new administration began moving with Blitzkrieg speed to control the sure and certain enslavement of the people through ungodly spending bills and back room deals in which Representatives and Senators have sold what little soul they might have left.

How can a politician who claims to be a Christian—Catholic, Protestant, or otherwise—truly and with clear conscience vote for federal funding of abortion? The answer is they can’t IF they truly are Christians.

What should be next on the agenda of anyone who is opposed to the Reid health bill is to get involved with the Scott Brown for US Senate campaign in Massachusetts.

    http://www.brownforussenate.com

We have the chance to TAKE AWAY HARRY REID’S 60TH VOTE!

The health bill will need at least one more vote to pass the combined bill, and that won’t be until February. The special election for US Senate is January 19.

WHEN SCOTT BROWN WINS, HARRY WON’T HAVE 60 VOTES!

We need to get involved, send support, write our newspapers and GET THIS STORY ON THE FRONT PAGES.

Sadly, most Massachusetts voters don’t even know there IS a special election.

WE NEED TURNOUT! THE HIGHER THE TURNOUT, THE MORE LIKELY A WIN IS FOR BROWN.

The national GOP organizations have all but ignored this race – little press, little funding.

If people are serious about being against the Reid health bill, they need to get active NOW and start talking up Scott Brown on a national level. We need support
and media coverage to get out the vote!

THIS should be at the top of our agenda. We still have some
serious work ahead – the battle to save the US health care system IS NOT OVER!

I totally agree. Why Christians in this country are not marching “crusade” style to Washington amazes me. Why they are not up in arms amazes me. When government is forcing you to go against your religious beliefs to what they want you to do then it is time to stand up and fight. This is clearly an intrusion of government into peoples religious beliefs (abortion), a line has crossed over the separation of church and state, in this case the state crossing over into the church side. THE GOVERNMENT IS FORCING CHRISTIANS TO PAY FOR ABORTIONS. Christianity across the world should be raising their voices but it is eerily silent. And they laugh at you because they are doing it on the eve of Christs birthday. And Christians wonder why they don’t get any respect. They don’t fight for their beliefs.

Black liberation theology or just plain liberation theology is grounded in Marxism.

Marxists don’t believe in God, Jesus or any other entity.

Only the State as the savior.

I saw this coming during the primaries.

And continue to see throughout his first year. Also, seeing it from various leftist members of Congress.

Entirely unsurprising since the family’s supposed Christianity was always a front anyway to get elected to high office.

Have they attended church even once since they have been in Washington? They still havent chosen a church have they?

At every opportunity, he has refused to uphold tradition, refused to pray in any kind of public setting where others can actually see him. etc.

We are just supposed to believe that he is a devout Christian when there is zero evidence to support that claim since the very day he entered the White House.

But the libs spin this as refreshing and, on the contrary, proof that he is even more devout than most Christians because he is too humble to put on a show of his faith in public.

What would Jesus have to say about the Christian that was “too humble” to be public about their faith? What would all of our martyrs, who did so much to spread our faith in its infancy, have to say about someone who keeps their faith under a bushel?

I don’t think the Jewish religion celebrates Christmas either.

I don’t trust churches or religions. I think they should start paying taxes and be forced to pay their share like the rest of us. Many of them have expanded to thousands of members and have TV shows, schools, day cares, etc. They are using the services, police, fire, ems, roads, etc, yet they pay nothing to the city, county or federal for these services.

Taxation implies control. That’s why churches aren’t taxed. Those who pull salaries from churches pay taxes on their income. Personally I believe the only taxation that should be allowed are when individuals pull income for themselves out of the company/organization.

This country was built on christian principles and will only survive if many understand and believe in these.

I’m not a Christian, I’m Jewish, but I live in what is obviously a Christian nation and I find this behavior of the Obamas repulsive. Rebbe Schneerson always maintained Jews have nothing to fear from Christians who are living the true precepts of their faith. Since the Obamas are not, anyone who wasn’t scared already by these people, should be now. Christians and Jews alike. Muslims I think will be just fine.

Of course Obama won’t attend services on Christmas. Muslims don’t celebrate Christmas even though it is a National Holiday. Ever notice Obama has never stated he was no longer a muslim, even after it became well known he was an expert reciter of the koran in his madrassa classes in Indonesia? It’s because it’s considered allright to lie to and deceive infidels in the service of allah. It is well understood in the moslem world that Obamais a stealth muslim.

Obama lies — he lies everytime he opens his mouth. He hates this country and wants to take it down. What we need to do is make sure that we get a Republican Congress so we can begin to investigate all the things that these thugs have done. Whatever Obama says he fears Republicans and by extension the American People.

One would have thought he would be happy today — he is close to getting what he wants. But no he’s terrified it will all go up in smoke so he has to stay on the attack against Republicans who haven’t the votes to stop him. But the American people do have the votes to stop him and if ever there was a reason to vote for the Republicans its now.

I listened to Parker Griffith the Dem turned Repub from Alabama. When asked if other Dems would do the same he said he could not speak for anyone else except to say that they are furious about what’s going on. Would it be nice to see a mass exodus from the Dem Party without an election even being held.

Or a vice president who rather represent only the oil industry and the pentagon rather then be bothered with the populace. Can you remember when Cheney ever gave a speech in front of a non conservative crowd? Better yet, isn’t it sad we no longer have a VP who wanted to reinterpret the constitution to suit his own agenda? Yes, we must return to the good old days of Bush and Cheney rather than live in a time where we can actually show compassion for those without healthcare!

Once the bill goes through conference, and a final bill is agreed upon, it doesn’t need 60 votes in the senate. A simple majority of 51 will pass it there. (And they’ll have that – unless a bunch of democRAT senators have a real come to Jesus moment and see the truth.)

And the house needs only a simple majority – but it may be harder for them to get it there.

I hope his behavior shows Christians and Jews they need to follow their Lord, and not look to a mortal for answers. No man is the answer to any of our prayers, and the fervor the Obama voters showed him was frightening.

I am going to late church tonight, I wish all of you a Merry Christmas, and I hope our prayers are answered…I hope we can truly become God centered again, rather than leader centered. After all, we can see how well the leader centered countries fare in the world today and their respect for their citizens. What a contrast on how the religious leaders of Judaism and Christianity treat people…our morality comes from our spirit infused by God, not by a government mandate.

Many blessings to you all this Christmas Eve. Let us try to put this evil man (I truly believe he is evil) behind us for one evening, and focus on the blessings God has bestowed on us. Let us pray He (and that would be God, not Obama)will lead us into better days.

[At a press conference on December 1... the possible Presidential contender said, '...the network that Saddleback has helped to create has as much reach as any institutional force in our culture and has probably a wider reach around the world than just about anything that's going on right now.... I hope one of the things that comes out of this conference that Pastor Rick has emphasized again and again, is no single branch of our society is going do this alone. If government thinks they can do it by themselves they're wrong. Churches have to recognize that they've got to be partners with the government. Business has an enormous role....

"...you know the separation of church and state as a concept of the first amendment the biggest practitioners and the people who advocated most fiercely for it were actually evangelicals.'...]

UCC member Sen. Barack Obama discusses faith and politics

[Later -- during his interview with United Church News -- Obama continued his thoughts about religion and politics; specifically, the role of religious principles in reaching a balance between national security and social justice concerns.

"I believe that democracy demands that the religiously motivated translate their concerns into universal values," Obama said. "Social justice and national security are both universal values, values that may originate for some in their religious beliefs, but are shared by us all."]

i agree with him, he’s an Islamist, ergo, “whatever” it
    once
was, America is no longer a Christian nation..

he’s also confusing the Bible with his Koran.. no passages or scriptures should guide our public policy, that is Political Islam aka: Sharia Law..

The ONE has said we are not a Christian nation even tho 80% of us are christian. Our collective national memory recognizes a judeo-christian moral base line even if we frequently fail to live up to it. The ONE would replace that moral base line with something very sinister and evil.

You are a brainless a**. Instead of spouting libtard talking points, try proving these accusations you’re espousing. You will find no evidence to back up any of your claims. But of course, that won’t stop a brain dead individual such as yourself from believing your own drivel and the failure of your liberal ideas on all fronts will never change your mind. Must be hell to be as deliberately ignorant of the facts as you and all your liberal friends so obviously are.

The founders of this country fought for their rights. They didn’t screw around with letting the powers that be put them in jail. Nor will I. If we all stand together they will not have a choice in the matter, they are out numbered 10,000 to 1. If they remain in power after 2010 thanks to their proven ballot stuffing, then we must overthrow them. 3% of the people is all it took in the revolutionary war.

I’m one Democrat who is on board with Scott Brown in the Massachusetts Senate race. I hope other Massachusetts voters take non-dhimmie’s recommendation and follow suit. I had the following letter in a couple of suburban weeklies two weeks ago.

As a registered Democrat for sixty years I wrote to Senators Kerry and Kirk urging them to vote against the Senate Health Care Reform Bill proposed by Senator Reid, unless it is amended, as proposed by Senators Nelson and Hatch, to include language identical to that of the Stupak Amendment to the House Health Care Bill.

Although it is unlikely my letter will persuade Kerry and Kirk to support Nelson’s effort,(it didn’t) I wrote it mindful of the Chinese proverb that it’s better to light a candle than curse the darkness.

The Stupak Amendment incorporates the longstanding policy of the Hyde Amendment into the House Health Care Reform Bill. It prohibits the expenditure of federal money to pay for both elective abortions and health insurance plans that cover elective abortions.

An induced abortion is a deliberate killing of a human being in the womb. This is a fact based on science and philosophical reason, not a religious belief. Reliable polling data shows that a majority of Americans do not wish to participate in this killing by being forced to finance it with their taxes. Senators play important roles in the exercise of the sovereign power of this nation. They ought not to exercise this power to force ordinary Americans like me to be complicit in the killing of children in the womb.

Stupak is a Democrat from Michigan, and the Stupak amendment was supported by 39 House Democrats. From my perspective this vote is the most encouraging development in the Democratic party in recent years. Among the Massachusetts delegation only Representatives Lynch and Neal voted with Stupak. Their affirmative votes are signs of hope for the Democratic party in this commonwealth. I would not have been surprised if no Massachusetts Democrats had been among the 39 pro-life Democrats.

Michael Capuano voted against the Stupak Amendment. Martha Coakley, as a person strongly supported by the abortion rights group Emily’s List, publicly stressed her unqualified opposition. And, it is clear from their public statements that the other Democratic candidates hold similar views.

Because of his vote on the Stupak Amendment I would vote for Lynch in the Democratic primary if he were in the Senate race. As things stand, this Democrat will vote for Scott Brown if he wins the Republican primary. According to the Boston Globe, Brown describes himself as pro-choice, Nevertheless, in the Massachusetts legislature, he has been a consistent supporter of reasonable restrictions on access to abortion compatible legally with the jurisprudence of Roe v Wade.

    from his jail cell..

[On December 24, 1971, the New York Times ran one of the first of
many articles on a new holiday designed to foster unity among African Americans. The holiday, called Kwanzaa, was applauded by a certain sixteen-year-old minister who explained that the feast would perform the valuable service of "de-whitizing" Christmas. The minister was a nobody at the time but he would later go on to become perhaps the premier race-baiter of the twentieth century. His name was Al Sharpton and he would later spawn the Tawana Brawley hoax and then incite anti-Jewish tensions in a 1995 incident that ended with the arson deaths of seven people.

Great minds think alike. The inventor of the holiday was one of the few black "leaders" in America even worse than Sharpton. But there was no mention in the Times article of this man or of the fact that at that very moment he was sitting in a California prison. And there was no mention of the curious fact that this purported benefactor of the black people had founded an organization that in its short history tortured and murdered blacks in ways of which the Ku Klux Klan could only fantasize.

It was in newspaper articles like that, repeated in papers all over the country, that the tradition of Kwanzaa began. It is a tradition not out of Africa but out of Orwell. Both history and language have been bent to serve a political goal. When that New York Times article appeared, Ron Karenga's crimes were still recent events. If the reporter had bothered to do any research into the background of the Kwanzaa founder, he might have learned about Karenga's trial earlier that year on charges of torturing two women who were members of US (United Slaves), a black nationalist cult he had founded.]

How can you possibly judge a man’s faith because he misses church?? I’m a Christian but I won’t be attending a church service today either because of my work schedule. Some of us are busy and just can’t make it. Being President he probably just doesn’t have the time. I’m sure he will privately observe the holiday with his family which is how it should be celebrated anyway.

    Dacoelec,

I and my family will not ignore the abortion debate. We will not comply with any mandate that forces us to support abortion. We are willing to go to jail.

73% of Americans disagree with forced monetary support of abortions. They can’t imprison all of us.

    Bingo.

To a few of the commenters above….I don’t think any of us want to force Christianity on Obama or anyone else. The problem is when people “use” it as a political tool, as he has appeared to do.
He did not indicate he didn’t have the time to go to Christmas services; they just chose not to. It is quite unusual for a Christian to miss an opportunity to praise God on this most blessed day, and therefore, one has to wonder about his true beliefs, especially when he is aware of how this will look. I believe he is making a very subtle statement.

Here here, Texmom. While I am a Christian, our family is heavily populated by agnostics, a couple flat out Atheists, and a Muslim. The issue is using religion as a political tool. Honesty is the issue. Also, the religion factor is simply the same misrepresentation Obama has demonstrated on a number of fronts.

Where Have Other First Families Spent Christmas?

Here’s a great question that was raised by a comment on our site: where have First Families traditionally spent Christmas?

It’s been noted that both Reagan and George W. Bush spent Christmas at the White House or Camp David, so that the agents protecting them could keep relatively normal schedules and be with their families on the holidays.

The Utopias, of course, are heading to Hawaii for Christmas, at great public expense flying Air Force One thousands of miles away on the taxpayer dime, and renting a giant mansion for them to play around in when the White House and Camp David are already bought and paid for by the public.

    What recession, right?

    Chisum,

What did you expect out of our boy-emperor?

The one “bright” spot in all of this is that you can feel the bad karma building into an avalanche that will bury not only the boy-emperor but also the Corruptocrat “nobility”, their heralds the MSM, their union thug/race warrior/radical leftist servants and their Orcs and Trolls like swizzle.

The effective half life of evil is short and they are just about out of time. They live in a fantasy world of their own making and do not understand that they are standing on the edge of the abyss of which they will soon be thrown down into and from which they will never, ever return.

When I set off for church today, I assured my husband that the radical left priest wouldn’t be fool enough to interject any politics….boy, was I wrong. The moron priest mentioned that Rome collapsed because of it arrogance, and implied that because this country is so rotten and arrogant, it too would be destroyed. This evil man has cost me a church to attend and I wish the head of the church in MA, specifically the one that is in charge of St. John’s in Canton, MA would assign this priest to the deepest dark jungles.
