FOX News took a look back at the top biased news reporting by the state-run media in 2009:
The Media Research Center has the complete list of this year’s award winners.
This was sort of like shooting fish in a barrel.

The Left’s Blind Eye to the Obvious
The approach of the new year might be an appropriate time to summarize what I have learned in researching the several books and articles that I have written this decade. That I came to own — or even break — many of the stories involved, although satisfying to me, should appall any ordinary citizen.
These stories were too big for a responsible media to miss. They became mine as a result of what I call the “ABETTO Syndrome.” For at least the last generation, the left in general, and the media in particular, have been turning A Blind Eye To The Obvious — ABETTO. Here are some nuggets the media chose not to notice. These are all thoroughly and inarguably documented.

In regard to the second award Bozell gave to the news media…I think the seagulls were in awe when they saw the huge crowd in DC during the 9/12 march. I believe that crowd trumped the inauguration crowd.
Ridiculous media fawning over this “god”.

O/T
We had a horrific cruelty case in my city last week. The vet and staff did everything they could to save the little dog but his injuries were too severe and he died. There is a petition going around to find the person and prosecute whoever did this to the fullest extent of the law. If you comfortable with signing the petition you can select to remain anonymous. Caution, this is graphic.

Yeah, I guess if you aren’t for socialist Obamacare and a Republican, you must want people to die of cancer, when in truth it is the complete opposite. The Democrats seem to be hell bent on having a socialist system, which will decide if it is financially feasible to give care to those they deem expendable.

This is an interesting read. It’s scary what the media chooses not to report. Then again, there was the Pulitzer-winning MSM-bias precedent-setter Walter Duranty, may he eternally fester. Our MSM would do the same today, and does, quite routinely. That they ignore Khameini’s ongoing crimes against humanity is testament to this. When China kills whole Christian churches composed of hundreds, all in front of the pastor – in what universe is this not a huge huge massive story?
Then again – Nanking, Treblinka, and the killing fields of Cambodia were off the Marxist press’ collective radar as well. If they can ignore, with PURPOSE, intentional massive large-scale slaughter of humans, and at the same time purport to be either unbiased, benign, or even – get this – ALTRUISTIC, then there can be no surprises at anything they do. NONE. Nobody needs to express shock at anything the MSM does. They have proven that they will do ANYTHING, abet anything, whitewash anything, spin anything, and cover up anything, no matter how evil. They are no better than soviet-era Pravda – unless by “better” you mean, “more skilled at the art and science of destroying all that is good via media”…then, yeah, today’s MSM is better than Pravda. They’re the new BENCHMARK.
We can hope the current era’s communist-marxists don’t follow suit with the rest of the deal. Mao, whom many in our media, government, and academia somehow adore, has a particularly grisly benchmark. 70 million, was it? 70 Million Humans Killed, Most Ever by a communist godless madman. Now he’s an icon and a cherished symbol of enlightened philosohy to many in power, in the MSM and in Government and in Their Schools, which many of us for some mad, insane reason, still choose to send our kids to.

The point that Taqiyy and Chisum make via The American Thinker post is well done. The vaunted”fourth estate” has by omission-current belief Bush caused the economic meltdown rather than Dem history with Fannie mae is telling. However, when it out right lies, Newsweek in the Koran toliet flotsam article, the results are a catastrophe. When was the last time you saw in Big Media -sections from the current Health Bill with contrasting viewpoints ?Moreover, the demonization of most Americans via the”Teabagging” on people who indulge in their first amendment rights is a Stalinist moment.
The childs fable, The Emperor has no clothes, fits the current Administration and fawning press.Credulity now lies more with blogs than Mainstream Media.

My nominee for best in the category of “complete stupidity and lack of knowledge of history (or much of anything else)” has to go to rachel maddow, who stated that, “The Constitution doesn’t have a Preamble. That’s the Declaration of Independence.”
Yeppers. She actually said that live on her “show” – in front of both of her viewers.

Even at this late date, the public blames the financial crisis on the Republicans, and don’t know about the CRA and the overall complicity of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac. Thanks to a willful hack media, the Dems have gotten away with the real crime of the century.
