Barack Obama voted 4 times to support infanticide.
So is it really a surprise that Obama will sign a bill this week that authorizes the use of taxpayer money to fund abortions in Washington DC?
Life News reported:
The Senate approved an omnibus spending bill on Sunday that would lift the 13-year-long ban on directly paying for abortions in the nation’s capital. The legislation, which President Barack Obama is expected to sign, also contains funding for Planned Parenthood and the UNFPA.
The Senate passed the bill, which funds several federal government departments, by a 57-35 vote, with Democrats backing the measure and most Republicans opposing it.
Passage of the measure today was no surprise given that Democrats won a filibuster battle on a narrow 60-34 vote that saw Republican Sens. Susan Collins of Maine, Thad Cochran of Mississippi and Richard Shelby of Alabama side with Democrats to move ahead to a vote on the bill.
Those same three Republicans voted for the bill and three Democrats, pro-abortion Sens. Evan Bayh of Indiana, Claire McCaskill of Missouri and Russ Feingold of Wisconsin, all voted against it for other reasons.
61% of Americans oppose taxpayer funded abortions.

Killing inconvenient children seems to be very important to Democrats. In fact, I can’t think of anything else that seems as important to them. They seem to get it into every bill. However, killing old people with their healthcare fraud bill seems to be a close second. I wonder if the people who are in between young children and seniors realize that they are going to be old someday?

Anyone here following John McTernan will expect that, upon the signing of this bill into law, a catastrophe will be visited upon this nation, per the immutable laws of metaphysics. Israel knows what I’m talkin’ about, or she did at one point in her history.
Expect one this week if it is signed. Natural disaster, terrorist attack, financial collapse, military defeat: pick one or more. At least it won’t be a slow news week.

The Catholic Church announced that they would cease all charitable activities in DC and walk away from all contracts with DC if that passed.
I certainly hope that they have the courage to stand by that.
Of course, they also said that, if the “health care” bill contained payment for abortions – or if hospitals and clinics were required to provide abortions – that they would start closing hospitals and clinics across the country. Closing. Not selling off to someone who would go along with the law – but closing and boarding up. Standing empty.
And I hope they have the courage to stand by that, too.
