The cut-and-run party still can’t stand the fact the US won in Iraq and liberated millions of Iraqis from the evil Saddam Regime thanks to the leadership of President George W. Bush and General David Petraeus.
Here’s liberal Chris Matthews attacking General Petraeus earlier this week:

Gosh, how many actually watch this nut?? Oh, well, at least he’s good from some comedic relief, because I can’t believe anyone takes him seriously.

    Chris who?

The Dems and media have so wandered off the grounds of sanity, no one takes anything they say seriously. Kind of like the boy who cried wolf. Nobody cares.

He lost his “shock and awe” value quite some time ago and is pretty much irrelevant at this point in time. About all you can say accurately is that he’s in a ratings battle with Keith Olberdork and even losing to him!

Crissy went down the tubes the moment he suggested that “tingle” went up his leg whenever he sees Barack Obama. That’s just plain SICK.

The prime time line up on MS-LSD is irrelevant. Everybody knows it, but since it draws the hard core lefties they prop it up and keep it on the air. In order to get some play with the rest of the country the clowns occassionaly say this over-the-top stuff to get our attention.

Here’s why the idiot, liberal (I repeat myself again) MSM is dying.

Hate-filled liberals despise facts and truth and rely on hysterics, insults, lies, and weeping and gnashing of teeth to advance their horrid ideas and vicious policies. The state-run MSM and PBR/S eschew facts and truth, which are not susceptible to calumnies, distortions, distractions, exaggerations, omissions, and outright lies.

If the regime succeeds in silencing blogs, talk radio, and Fox News there will be no free press. Without a free press, it is impossible to appeal to outside opinion, and to make known the truth.

And yet, this is is the same network who complained about Brit Hume giving his opinion to Tiger in accordance with his faith. The General does not deserve this kind of insult. However, I don’t think there are enough insults that can be heaped on Matthews. I actually used to like him when he actually came on the side of those who felt that the Lewinsky affair was just too much.

    He has just lost it.

Petraeus doesn’t deserve this. He’s doing the best he can. Maybe now he can do a little better now that there’s an administration that understands the simple fact that a war is not won my military means alone. Petraeus did the best he could with the asses he had to work for in the previous administration. Hopefully now, Petraeus will be given competent people to achieve our political goals over in Afghanistan and Iraq so we can get the hell out of there. We’ve been over there for 9 and 8 years respectively. Our two world wars didn’t take this long. Colossal failure and mismanagement in my opinion. Oh, that and the war in Iraq was a waste of some of our best soldiers not to mention billions of dollars.

I know. Iraq war was a bad idea.

I mean, who would have thought that waging a war on a dictatorship to install a democracy (of sorts) and draw in thousands of terrorists from all over the globe to be killed in detail would be a good idea?

Who could have figured that plunking down a democracy in the midst of islamofacist dictatorships might have the effect of “spillage” into neighboring countries who want some of that “freedom” thing for themselves?

Why those fools in the Bush administration!

(And Matthews, along with the rest of the lame stream media lost all credibility with their coverage of the first Bush election. While the big three have the possibility of pushing back against their dropping ratings by moving more towards objective and honest reporting, MSNBC has lost too many viewers to do anything other than attempt to hold onto the few radical leftists who actually watch anything resembling “news” — beyond the Daily Show, that is…)

Huey, Geez you’re right, I mean al quada was such an issue in Iraq! Thank god that our good friends from Saudi Arabia are our allies. Oh wait! That’s where most of the 9-11 hijackers were from! My bad! Based on your logic and justification, we need to go into Sudan next! Why didn’t we go after North Korea or Iran several years ago! Your argument proves nothing. There is not a single thing you can point to that shows how we are safer now by our war with Iraq.

Solaratov, give me any administration over the previous one. I am ashamed of what we did as a nation. It was all about a grudge W had because Saddam tried to kill his daddy.

Better yet, give me someone like Ron Paul or Wesley Clark over this current administration, because as far as I can see, nothing has changed.

Why are we still in these countries? with over 100K+ troops in each? If we are there 20 years from now at this same level of commitment will it still be touted as a success? Why don’t we take those billions of dollars we are spending, subsidize research into alternative forms of energy to the oil companies and leave these wackjobs in the middle east to rot.

What is that video supposed to show? It’s been edited to show the idiot Matthews saying “Petraeus, Petreaus, Petreaus…” over and over again. The audio is bad and it sounds sort of like he said “betray-us”, but he didn’t actually say that.

What’s the point of this video?

I can hear the difference between a “P” and a “B.” Matthews definitely started the name with a “B.”

Argue that he mis-spoke, if you wish. But then we have to wonder, Freud-like, why the pejorative was in his subconscious, and how it escaped into his spoken words, and without correction.

Chris Mattews could speak clearer if he would just use some “Fix-A-Dent” to keep his dentures from flooping around in his mouth! Or, a better idea may be to use some”Super Glue” to put an end to that babble coming out of his mouth.

Mike: What we should do (or have done) in other countries at other times (or at the same time) has absolutely no bearing on whether we should do something in a different country.

This is elementary logic. Your question is an example of a “foolish consistency…”

And, I have would have had no problem with us not stopping in Baghdad. We were there…Iran was there…Syria was there…we could have had a pretty decisive party…

And you’re exceptionally stupid, too. You still believe that old story that was made up by the left. Unless, of course, you can provide some sort of proof of that allegation. Post that proof – with links – as soon as you can. OK, lefty?

Face it, kid, you’d hate any administration that didn’t promise you skittles, unicorns and assorted freebies. Anything to keep you from actually having to try to succeed on your own merits; and facing the possibility of disappointment. You slacker butt-wipes *need* to have a nanny-state government that guarantees equality of outcome rather that opportunity.
